Cheap, fast, delicious! A large serving for 563 yen, an egg for 74 yen, totaling 637 yen. The service was not a problem, which is a good thing. I was in the restaurant for about 10 minutes, but in that short time, I was able to have dinner for under 1,000 yen, feel full with warm rice, and leave in a good mood. My wife and I went to Yoshinoya. The table seats were not very spacious, so we chose to sit at the counter seats without hesitation. I had noticed that the style of the store had changed last time, so I was able to order without any confusion this time. Oh, they have eel... I feel like having that! So, I decided on the eel bowl, and also impulsively got the beef dish!! After returning home, I reheated them a bit and enjoyed them. It had been a while since I had eel. I thought there wouldn't be much volume since it was just one piece, but there was actually a lot of rice! The eel was quite large and tasted great. I enjoyed the eel and rice together. It's really delicious! I love eel!! The sauce is tasty too, and the amount is just right, with a good balance. I thought there was a lot, but before I knew it, I had finished it all! And then there was the beef dish. I saved it for a snack with my evening drink. Since there's no rice with the beef dish, it tastes a bit salty, but it's perfect as a snack with alcohol. In the end, Yoshinoya is the best! I quickly finished it all, as always. If Yoshinoya was in my town, I would definitely go there frequently. I had another delicious meal today! Once I got home, my dog Hana was feeling much better after a recent visit to the vet. She came over to cuddle while I enjoyed my meal and drinks. I ordered both the beef and pork dishes, starting with the beef. The flavor was consistent and comforting, just like Yoshinoya always is. The pork dish had a completely different taste profile, with a miso-like flavor and sesame accents. While I love pork, I think I prefer the beef dish without rice. Regardless, I realized once again how much I love Yoshinoya. I finished my meal quickly and didn't drink too much alcohol, as I didn't want my wife to come home and smell it on me. It was a bit of a silly indulgence, but it felt good to enjoy a meal like this. I can't wait to get back to normal life soon.

It took about an hour to complete, so on my way back home, I made a detour to Yoshinoya, the 12th branch in Iwamizawa. I noticed that the store's sign had changed colors and the interior had been completely renovated. The ordering system was different as well, with a centralized cashier and a semi-self-service pickup area. The menu had also changed, offering more side dishes like fried chicken. Despite the changes, I stuck to my usual order of a regular beef bowl with extra runny egg and miso soup. The takeout orders were quite popular, likely due to the influence of the coronavirus. The taste of the beef bowl remained consistent and satisfying, just like the old days. I also ordered some dishes for a night of drinking at home, which I will review next time. Overall, the new setup at Yoshinoya was different, but the taste of their beef bowl never disappoints. It was delicious as always.

The sudden snowfall made her nervous about driving, so it looks like I'll be picking her up in the mornings and evenings. Today, I loaded up the car and headed to Iwamizawa. While there was just a little snow in Kurisuyama, as we got closer to Iwamizawa, it turned into a blizzard, then heavy snowfall. It's going to be tough for my wife to drive in this! After unloading the luggage at Iwamizawa Station, I headed back home. But since I was already out, I decided to have breakfast before heading back. I went to Yoshinoya on Route 12 in Iwamizawa, which opens at 8 am. I ordered my usual: a regular-sized beef bowl with extra sauce, miso soup, and a soft-boiled egg. The food was served within a minute of ordering. I lightly mixed the soft-boiled egg and placed it on top of the beef bowl. With a sprinkle of shichimi pepper, I dug in. The extra sauce made it feel almost like ochazuke, and it was delicious. Even though I don't usually eat breakfast, I always seem to have an appetite in situations like this. After finishing my meal in no time, I headed back home for a little rest before probably going out for ramen later. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

You order after being seated, and pay after eating in the traditional style. They also offer takeout options. This particular store is located along Route 12 in Iwamizawa City, about 50 meters from an intersection heading towards Nihonbashi Town. Visited on September 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM. After visiting the Animardomain store earlier, I started feeling a bit hungry. There are few dining options ahead, and after a series of ups and downs followed by a steep climb, I decided to grab a quick bite here. From seating to receiving my beef bowl took only 3 minutes. I'm not a big fan of the taste of beef, but Yoshinoya's beef bowl is my favorite. I ate the rice and felt energized. Now, time to continue on my journey! 🎵
