Located on the corner of Route 230, this restaurant offers a fried chicken set meal for 900 yen (tax included). It seems to be run by a single person, with a limited menu of around 4-6 items. Although the recommended dish was the pork cutlet bowl and soba set for 800 yen, I opted for the fried chicken set. While waiting, I could read manga provided, all of which were from Shonen Jump, including titles like Dragon Ball, Takeshi, and Death Note. The fried chicken set included five fairly large pieces of chicken, salad, and miso soup with seaweed and tofu. The miso soup was flavorful, and the chicken was tender and delicious. Personally, I felt the flavor was a bit lacking and could have used more salt and pepper or some mayonnaise. The indoor environment was good (cool despite the recent hot days), and the service was polite and attentive.

The location of the shop may also play a role, but with only two reviews after about two years, it's surprising. A bad shop that receives high ratings usually attracts customers right from the opening. However, this shop seems to be the opposite, haha. Totoron's adventurous spirit is unstoppable. I debated between squid tempura rice bowl and pork cutlet rice bowl with soba set for 800 yen. Hmm, the taste is so bland!! Both the pork cutlet rice bowl and soba were bland!! It was so bland that even those who prefer healthy food would find it tasty!! If it weren't for the pickled cucumber and stir-fried butterbur, I wouldn't have been able to finish it. There are other points to mention, but those are minor details. I would like to try their curry next time. This is a rare negative comment, but it's not that the food is bad, it's just bland. If they improve on that, I think they could receive higher ratings. I hope this shop will do their best.

I entered the restaurant after lunchtime. The parking lot had space for about 6-7 cars in front and on the side of the shop. The interior was small, with a counter and 3 tables for 2 people. The menu was displayed and had a limited selection including fried chicken, pork cutlet curry, pork cutlet rice bowl, squid tempura rice bowl, and grilled fish. The prices seemed to have gone up recently. I ordered the pork cutlet rice bowl and soba set for 800 yen. The pork cutlet portion was just right in thickness, not too tough but a bit lacking in fat. The seasoning felt a bit light overall due to the small amount of sauce. The soba was served in a small size, almost like a substitute for miso soup. The soba and soup were average. In terms of value for money, it was average. My opinion might change when I visit again. Next time, I might try the fried rice or fried chicken set.
