Marugame Seimen, Ario Sapporo Branch: Red Ginger Tempura Egg Udon (Regular) 550 yen. I got home at 5 am, woke up at 7 am, went to work, and finally sobered up from drinking. On weekdays, I skip breakfast and dinner. My friend said they were going to Ario at 7:30 pm, so they picked me up from work and we went together. I'm in the mood for udon! And they have my favorite red ginger tempura and egg udon. I love it! The soup with egg and red ginger tempura is just my style. I want to eat this every time. I'm very satisfied with the food. However, the attitude of the cashier was so bad that it irritates me just thinking about it. Thank you for the meal.

I would never go to Marugame Seimen by myself, but reluctantly went again and again at the insistence of my companions. I came all the way to Sapporo from outside the area, so why are we at this Hokkaido-themed Marugame Seimen again?! (-_-;)△△△△△△△△△△△△△△△△△△△△△△△△ [Curry Udon (Regular)] 570 yen [White Rice (Regular)] 140 yen [Half-Cooked Egg Tempura] 150 yen Pouring Marugame Seimen's "tempura dipping sauce" over the curry udon (regular), sprinkling their "special seven spice" on top, placing the half-cooked egg tempura on the white rice and cracking it open, pouring their "dashi soy sauce" over it, dipping the leftover white rice in the curry udon broth, pouring the "tempura dipping sauce" over it, sprinkling the "special seven spice" on top. If this was soba instead of udon, it would probably be even more delicious. Marugame Soba... doesn't exist here (ヾノ-ω-`)ナイッテ!

Today is the last day of my two-day weekend. I woke up around 2:30 in the morning. I read a lot of reviews from everyone, so for breakfast, I decided to have Donbei instant noodles at home because it's cold and snowy outside. After finishing my shopping, my wife and I decided to have lunch at Marugame Seimen. We ordered the "Our Pork Udon" and "Mentaiko Ankake Udon" with various tempura toppings. The udon was delicious with plenty of ingredients and the tempura was surprisingly affordable. The pork udon had pork belly, cabbage, onion, carrot, burdock, and fried tofu in the miso-based soup, which made my body warm. The Mentaiko Ankake Udon had a rich mentaiko sauce on top of the egg-based sauce, which was also very tasty. Overall, the meal was great, but the spiciness of the miso soup was unexpected. I recommend this place to everyone, just don't expect typical pork miso soup. The udon noodles here are really good! That's all for now!

Last order is at 20:30. The photo is after eating a bit, sorry ^^; This volume for 610 yen! It was really worth it! The taste was delicious with the flavor of soft-boiled egg and mentaiko mixed with dashi. However, it is initially set to be quite light, so I recommend adding the dashi soy sauce available in the store! If you do that, it's super delicious! There was also an interesting shichimi spice haha. Thank you for the meal (*´ー`*)

The broth was sweet with a strong flavor, but I wish it had a bit more dashi and umami. ◆Vegetable tempura (150 yen)◆ Large and crispy. ◆Quail tempura (160 yen)◆ Strongly flavored but tender and delicious. ◆Chicken tempura (120 yen)◆ The pepper seasoning is stronger than the quail tempura, but it's delicious. Located on the 2nd floor of Ario Sapporo in Higashi Ward, Sapporo City, Hokkaido. Marugame in the food court of Ario. The food court was packed with families during the Obon holiday. Marugame Seimen was busier than usual. I ordered the Kake Nari, Manjanshi Togarashi Tempura, and Ika Tempura. I placed my order along the counter, received my udon, and moved forward. I chose my tempura toppings, green onions, grated ginger, and tempura flakes while waiting in line at the register. The register was slow. The udon was slightly overcooked and the tempura flakes were completely soggy by the time they reached my table. It was disappointing. The Manjanshi Togarashi had a subtle sweetness and a seasonal taste. The Ika Tempura was flavorful and not tough. The register needs to be more efficient.

Even during the pandemic, Marugame Seimen is enjoying strong sales. I had always wanted to try it and finally got the chance. First, I put the toppings on the lid, poured the broth over the noodles, and added the toppings back. I prepared a bottle of beer and enjoyed the meal. It tasted just as I had imagined, delicious. It was a bit salty for my taste, but still acceptable. The tempura shrimp, tamagoyaki, vegetable tempura, isobeage, and kinpira were all well-balanced. Personally, I think it would be perfect with a white fish fry like in a Noriben. Overall, it was delicious! Thank you for the meal. I would like to try the warm version next time.

This restaurant is located at the back of the food court on the second floor of Ario Sapporo. It's been a while since I last visited, but since Marugame Seimen at Ion Nayafu closed down, I'll be using this place more often. It's a shame that they no longer serve the "Duck Negi Udon" that I was looking forward to. I remember having it at this location a few years ago. I wonder if they stopped offering special menu items because the cooking space in food court type stores tends to be limited? I ordered the following items: - Torotama Udon (cold) - Regular size (490 yen) - Vegetable Tempura (150 yen) - Spanish Mackerel Tempura (price forgotten, around 140 yen?) The Torotama Udon is cold noodles with grated yam and a soft-boiled egg on top. I used to eat this a lot in the past. It's great that you can get this much food for a reasonable price. I also enjoyed the free toppings like tempura crumbs and chopped green onions. The vegetable tempura mainly consisted of onions, which I love, but I've been getting heartburn from eating whole onions lately, so I took half of it home. I had it with soba noodles at home. Among the tempura items here, the seasonal fish tempura is cheap and that's really nice. This time it was Spanish mackerel. Of course, it's not comparable to tempura from a proper tempura restaurant, but for this price, I'm very satisfied. I'll definitely be coming back here again. Thank you for the meal.

Today is the last day of my two-day weekend~ at Ario Sapporo~! My wife wants to eat Marugame Seimen's nabe-yaki udon? It seems my choice of miso ramen is not acceptable! I chose the tamago ankake udon (regular) instead~♪ The visual looks delicious~♪ However, nabe-yaki udon is not found! Apparently it's available! It's on TV commercials but~ the aftertaste seems to be that the sauce is lukewarm? The broth is also lukewarm? The highest temperature in Sapporo today seems to be below freezing? Maybe that's why? P.S. I feel warm but my wife feels cold! It's been a while since we've missed at Marugame Seimen (laughs)

"Marugame Seimen" in Sapporo is not a special place for a family lunch, so we ended up at Ario. It's unavoidable with a large group and kids. We all wanted different things to eat, my youngest daughter got a variety of tempura at Marugame. I usually get takeout, but eating in the restaurant was a different experience. The udon had a decent texture, but the broth wasn't as flavorful as expected. Eating in a food court can feel a bit lonely, but it was still a decent meal overall.

I visited the restaurant to use a free coupon for kashiwa tempura. It was located in the back of the food court, so I got a little lost. It was a Sunday afternoon, so there was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly. I ordered grated daikon with mentaiko topping, and my husband got the limited edition Tomatama curry udon with kashiwa tempura and squid with sansho pepper topping! The Tomatama curry udon was spicier than expected, and my husband was sweating. It also came with rice and was delicious.

Today is the third day of my 4-day consecutive holiday! I finished my second vaccine shot and I'm feeling great! I had planned to rest, but what should I do with the remaining 2 days? I don't have much experience with Saturdays and Sundays! I had a bad breakfast at a beef bowl restaurant today! I'm thinking about trying ramen from Ishikari, Kurayama, Otaru, and Chitose at home. However, today is not a weekday, so it might be risky in various ways. I finished looking for material for my content and went shopping with my wife at Ario Sapporo. We arrived around 10 AM and there were quite a few people shopping. The deli and bento boxes were already lined up early in the morning. It's already past 11:30 AM! We headed to the second-floor food court as a couple. Marugame Seimen and McDonald's had long lines. I said, "I had meat for breakfast!" My wife asked, "Should we line up?" I replied, "Let's do it!" I ordered a regular portion of kitsune udon for 470 yen including tax, plus squid tempura for 130 yen including tax, and half chikuwa tempura for 70 yen including tax. My wife ordered a regular portion of mentaiko kamatama udon for 460 yen including tax. At the counter, there was a long line and a young man who seemed like a part-timer was taking orders. Behind me was an older lady, probably a supervisor, instructing him. I thought, "They're making him do it, just like in the old days!" The tongs for chopped green onions were huge and they put a lot on the udon! I apologize for that! After the meal, I felt that the broth had a different taste. I thought the same thing last time! In the old days, it was just okay, but now it's delicious! The kitsune udon was also big and tasty! However, the tempura was a bit soggy, but still acceptable. My wife found the mentaiko to be quite spicy and felt that there was too little broth. We had a lunch for two that cost 1,130 yen. Thank you for the meal! P.S. - There are new bento options at "Wakuwaku Hiroba" that I didn't mention this time, but they were delicious!

On this day, I had the ■ Pork Kimchi Bukkake Udon (regular, cold) for 690 yen and the ■ Thin Tempura (140 yen) with a 30 yen discount coupon. The udon is a limited-time offer and comes with free chopped green onions and fried tempura crumbs. For the price, it had a good amount of meat and the mayonnaise on the side was a nice touch. I would consider eating it again if I have the chance. The tempura was also good, with a nice texture. I originally wanted to try the clam udon but it was sold out. I wonder if other stores still have it? I would like to try it if I see it again before it ends. Thank you for the meal ☆

I had to use the engine starter to take my second daughter to JR Shiroishi Station. Despite the strong winds, I braved the snow flying around and drove with the headlights on! It was quite a wild ride. For lunch, we decided to try the lunch set from Marugame Seimen, which we often see in TV commercials. It looked cheap and delicious. My wife had refused to eat there after trying the tempura a few years ago, but I thought we should give it another chance. It happened to be the 18th, which is "Happy Day" at Ario Sapporo. We arrived at the food court for lunch before shopping. I ordered the meat udon lunch set for 700 yen including tax, while my wife chose the kake udon lunch set for 500 yen including tax. The staff kindly let us choose two toppings each. I picked shrimp tempura and inari, while my wife chose shrimp tempura and spicy cod roe sushi. We both ended up with shrimp tempura toppings, which was a bit surprising. The udon had a good texture and the broth was flavorful with a nice dashi taste. The tempura was crispy and not greasy, and the inari was delicious. The meat in the meat udon was particularly tasty. It seemed like they had adjusted the flavors for Hokkaido. My wife even said it was delicious and finished her meal, which was unexpected. Overall, the experience was great, but chain restaurants can vary in quality.

I ate at the food court in Ario Sapporo and had beef udon (590 yen), vegetable tempura (140 yen), kamasu tempura (140 yen?), and inari sushi (100 yen). The total came to 800 yen + tax, which was cheaper because they had brought back the lunch set menu for 700 yen where you can choose a main dish and two side dishes. I had planned to make the beef udon, vegetable tempura, and inari sushi into a lunch set and use a coupon to discount the kamasu tempura, but I found out that the coupon couldn't be used with the set. However, the staff kindly allowed me to include the kamasu tempura in the set and pay for the inari sushi separately, so it worked out almost the same without using the coupon. I'm grateful for the quick thinking of the staff member who helped me out. I used a portion of a lucky bag meal voucher. I couldn't eat all the vegetable tempura at once because it gave me heartburn, so I ate 1/3 and took the rest home to have with soba noodles for dinner later (I did this twice before at AEON Naebo, so maybe next time I'll make tempura rice bowl). I will definitely come back again. I want to have the duck and green onion udon again before it's gone. Thank you for the meal☆

I visited for lunch. It's been a while since I came here. It's always popular, so there's always a line (・_・; Today I came early, so it's not crowded. This time, I ordered the "bukkake large cold," "large shrimp," and "quail." The bukkake is simple but delicious ♫ It's a taste that never gets old. The tempura is also delicious! I was in the mood for Marugame Seimen, so I went there today! I had a hard time deciding, but since I really enjoyed the tantanmen last year, I decided to order it again this year. It was indeed very delicious, but I personally preferred last year's version. I loved the strong sesame flavor and sweet soup from last year, so I was a little disappointed this time. Today's version had a stronger spiciness compared to last year, and my mouth started tingling halfway through. The taste was rich with a slightly salty soy sauce base. Personally, I found it a bit too salty, but my friend enjoyed it.
