When I went to Shari for work, I stumbled upon a sushi restaurant while strolling around the hotel area. When I opened the door, there was only the chef and the hostess inside, with no other customers. I sat at the counter and ordered a beer. I had squid and shrimp as appetizers. The chef and hostess were very friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them, even though I was dining alone. They also served me various complimentary appetizers throughout the meal. It was a cold day, but the hot sake after the beer warmed both my body and heart. The chef recommended their mackerel, which was surprisingly delicious! It had no fishy smell and no aftertaste. It was the best mackerel I had ever tasted. I was told that they put a lot of effort into preparing it to eliminate the typical fishy smell. I highly recommend trying it. It was so good that I couldn't resist ordering another serving. I am grateful for this unexpected encounter!
