In front of the diagonal field, there was a similar-looking Japanese-style restaurant that caught my attention. It seemed to be a mix of traditional and creative dishes. The place was quite busy, and the menu looked appetizing. I had been curious about it for a while, so I decided to check it out after listening to Fabio Luisi's Bruckner's Symphony No. 7 on guitar. The restaurant was almost full, and it seemed lively. The menu consisted of both traditional and creative Japanese dishes, all of which looked delicious. The prices were reasonable, so I had high hopes for the food. The presentation was beautiful, and the dishes seemed to be handmade. The flavors were spot on, and the chef's skills were impressive. The quality of the ingredients was as expected, some hits and misses, but overall good value for money. In comparison to the popular restaurant "Aji no Janbo" in Higashi Ward, this place offers a similar experience at a third of the price. Another great option is the budget-friendly and delicious "Kiku" restaurant. "Ta" is a mix of both, offering good value for money. If you're looking for a slightly more upscale experience, "Edokko" might be a better choice, but these places are all worth visiting for their unique qualities. In conclusion, these are some of the recommended izakayas in Sapporo. The clientele is diverse, ranging from young to old, and the overall experience is great in terms of cost-effectiveness, taste, and atmosphere. However, due to the crowd, there might be a bit of a wait for your food. There is a variety of shochu available, but only five types of ponzu, which may be a bit disappointing. The beer comes in small glasses, so it can add up in cost. But overall, these places seem to be making a profit in this area.
