I went to Tsubohachi with my colleagues from work. It was a little after 6 pm on a weekday, and the restaurant was not crowded. We were seated right away in a private booth with a sunken table and a TV. However, there was a seating charge of 100 yen per person. Some appetizers were served, but they were unfamiliar and we couldn't quite figure out what they were. Even the staff couldn't provide much information. We started with beer and then ordered a bottle of shochu with water and ice. For food, we had the usual fried chicken, salad, sashimi, grilled fish, and pickles. The portions seemed a bit smaller than expected based on the photos.
