That day, we were staying at a hotel near Lake Toya and had not made a dinner reservation. We decided to go to the nearby Lake Toya Onsen town to grab a quick meal, but couldn't find any open restaurants. We ended up finding Guten Tag by searching online. It was a hot day, with Sapporo recording its highest temperature in history. Lake Toya was also very hot, so the restaurant was quite warm inside. However, the tonkatsu, tori zangi, tamagoyaki, goya champuru, and other dishes we ordered were all delicious. The owner of the restaurant, a friendly lady, made the dining experience enjoyable for our whole family.
