Wandering around the shopping area, I spotted a specialty shop for strawberry daifuku. I immediately went in and got a box of 6 special strawberry daifuku for 320 yen each. When I got home, I tried them right away. The strawberry was mixed into the mochi skin, and the combination of strawberry and sweet red bean paste was amazing. The acidity of the strawberry and the sweetness of the red bean paste complemented each other perfectly. My daughter also loved them. I definitely want to visit this shop again in the future.

I didn't go to a shop in Hokkaido. I saw it at SWEETS BOX, which is located at major stations on the Odakyu Line, and couldn't resist. I actually prefer red bean over strawberry. I got one each of red bean, smooth red bean, white bean, and mugwort red bean. The mochi is thick.

Special strawberry daifuku with strawberry mixed into the dough. I have bought various types of daifuku from different stores, but this one is my absolute favorite! I love how it tastes so strawberry-filled in my mouth! I forgot to take a picture, but I also bought the last one, strawberry milk. It was delicious with plenty of strawberry pulp in it. Although I usually only buy it as a souvenir or as a treat for myself due to the price, it's fun to see new products added when I occasionally visit (*´`). This time, I didn't buy them, but the cookies displayed next to the cash register were so cute ♡ Thank you for the meal!

Strawberry and sweet bean paste is definitely the best combination for daifuku. This is a fact. The lineup with fresh and cute strawberries peeking out is perfect for treating yourself or as a gift. There was a lady who bought a lot for souvenirs when she visited the store. I understand, there are so many cute options lined up... daifuku, sakura mochi, and other Japanese sweets, as well as items like strawberry milk and cookies, were also available. They were all too cute!! The store's interior was a bright red strawberry color, which got me excited, but it seemed like they only offered takeout. Buying some here and heading to Odori Park or the TV tower for a picnic sounds like a great idea. ◎

Continuing from the previous article, this is a response song-like content to the reviewer who left a comment. I often work from home, but occasionally have to go out for work. On such occasions, I take the opportunity to eat ramen, but I also feel hesitant to indulge without my beloved wife. So, I always struggle to choose souvenirs to bring back. However, the act of pondering is enjoyable. Yes, selecting gifts for loved ones is a fun activity (of course, no cheesy stuff). This time, I bought a souvenir at Sweets Calendar in Yokohama Station during a layover. They regularly rotate sweets from all over the country for sale. This time, I bought the "Strawberry Daifuku (Red Bean Paste)" for 300 yen. According to my wife, the strawberries have a slight acidity, but the red bean paste is delicious! Her evaluation points are always reliable. I am not a sweets connoisseur, but if my discerning wife says it's good, then it must be. Thank you for the treat.

This store was temporarily located on the basement 2nd floor of Marui Imai Odori Building. It is a specialty store for strawberry daifuku. I have always wanted to try the strawberry daifuku skewered on a stick. It has a striking visual impact. It even appeared on the cover of a food and drink magazine. There were various types of skewered strawberry daifuku, but I chose the milk flavor. For the classic strawberry daifuku shape, I chose pistachio flavor. The one that looks like milk pudding is actually a mousse-like topping with a strawberry on top. Both were delicious. The strawberries were not too sour, making them easy to eat. I was hoping to use the local discount coupon at Marui Imai, but unfortunately, it was not accepted here. I tried to keep the bill just over 1000 yen to use a 1000 yen accommodation coupon, but it was fine since I used it at another store in Marui Imai. I would like to visit the store again and make a purchase when I have the chance. Thank you for the meal. ☆

The weather was nice, so I went cycling towards Sapporo Station for some exercise. I felt like having something sweet, so I looked for a good shop nearby and found one really close by!! Their signature item seems to be strawberry daifuku. I chose the most popular one with sweet bean paste. The bean paste had a refined sweetness and was delicious. They have a wide variety of options, so I would like to try something different next time.

Before going to the clinic, I went shopping at the "Potapota Ichigo" specialty store for strawberry daifuku. I didn't take a picture, but there were many strawberry daifuku lined up in the showcase along the road, which was cute. Inside the store, they also sold strawberry bread and strawberry accessories. Here are the items I tried: - Strawberry Skewer: My skewer had chocolate on top, while my husband's had a special strawberry. It was a convenient way to eat without getting your hands dirty. The chocolate daifuku had a strong chocolate flavor that paired well with the sweet strawberry. - Strawberry Daifuku (Tsubuan): Mine had a sweet and slightly sour strawberry with a hint of mugwort flavor and a mild sweetness of red bean paste. It was delicious. My husband's had a sweet strawberry with a refined taste of white bean paste. - Strawberry Sakura Mochi: My husband's was in the front, and mine was in the back. The mochi had a grainy texture, sweet strawberry, mildly sweet red bean paste, and a hint of saltiness from the sakura leaf. It was tasty. Overall, everything was delicious! They also had coffee strawberry daifuku and pistachio strawberry daifuku, but I didn't buy them this time because I bought a lot. I will definitely go back and try them next time. God, how cruel can you be...?! "Recurrent pneumothorax in the right lung. The right lung has shrunk to half its size, so we will insert a tube." My son seemed to understand and was quite calm. Another hospitalization, but he was quick to prepare for it. Last time, he prioritized his exams and left the hospital as soon as possible, so the natural healing process was not enough for a full recovery. Thankfully, his left lung has fully recovered and expanded, which is some relief. He is scheduled for one week of hospitalization, and the next day, I brought magazines and water for him. On the way back from the hospital, I decided to walk through Hokudai and buy something for my daughter... Recently, she said she wanted "white bean paste" and only ate one. I found a shop specializing in strawberry daifuku, and the strawberry daifuku were lined up like flowers. There were several types with different fillings and mochi. I bought strawberry daifuku (white bean paste) and strawberry candy. The strawberries were quite sour, the mochi had a good chewy texture, and there was a hint of saltiness. The white bean paste was a bit too sweet. My daughter couldn't finish hers because it was too sweet and had too much filling, so I ended up eating it. The strawberry candy will be saved for my son. It looks so cute that it will make a great gift. Thank you for the meal.

This shop was a temporary special section on the 2nd basement floor of Marui Imai Department Store in Sapporo. I bought it as a snack to eat at night before staying at a business hotel in the city for summer vacation. It was like a milk pudding (or almond jelly?) with strawberries on top. It was delicious. I don't remember the official name or price. Sorry...(^o^; Next time, I want to buy strawberry daifuku. Thank you for the meal☆

This is a shop that strawberry lovers will absolutely adore. This time, my wife asked me to get her an early Valentine's Day gift, so when I asked her what she wanted, she said she wanted to try the strawberry daifuku from this place. It was a small shop located about a 5-minute walk from Sapporo Station, but the inside was filled with an amazing variety of strawberry daifuku. It was hard to choose just one.

On the last day of the New Year holiday, I visited a shop that caught my interest thanks to a friend's invitation. Next to it was this place. I had tried their strawberry daifuku before when the main store was still on a main street, brought as a souvenir by my mother. This time, I wanted to try their strawberry daifuku, so I decided to stop by. Inside the shop, there were various strawberry daifuku using red bean paste, mugwort, and more lined up in the showcase. With so many options, it was a bit difficult to choose. I went with the classic white daifuku with strawberry on top. The strawberry daifuku had a large strawberry on top of the white mochi. The mochi was made with sticky rice instead of rice flour, giving it a soft and chewy texture. The red bean paste inside was smooth and had a gentle sweetness, making it easy to eat. I bought the white daifuku this time, but I'm curious to try other varieties next time. If I have the chance to visit again, I might try a different one. Thank you for the meal.

I didn't know there was a shop next to Agepan, so I made a detour (^o^) The oversized mitarashi dango caught my eye, but first I tried the classic strawberry daifuku...! - Strawberry Daifuku (with sweet bean paste) The strawberries were a slightly tart type, refreshing, and the sweet bean paste was not too sweet. The mochi had a firm texture, but since I bought it in the early afternoon, it was soft. I imagine it would become harder as time passed. I'm glad I was able to stop by this shop that caught my interest unexpectedly (^o^) Thank you, Wu-ta-san, for the detour!!(((orz

I took a walk towards the north exit of Sapporo Station♪♪ After about 5 minutes of walking, I saw a cute flag hanging outside. The flag had the name of the shop, "Potapota Ichigo" (Dripping Strawberry) written on it. When I peeked inside the shop from the window, I saw beautifully arranged daifuku (Japanese rice cakes filled with sweet bean paste) that looked like a flower garden with tulips. Now, let's listen to the voices of "Good Mikiko" and "Bad Mikiko" about this place. Good Mikiko: "So cute♡ But I'm worried about the calories><" Good Mikiko: "I ate a lot yesterday so..." Bad Mikiko: "You'll definitely regret it if you don't buy it!" Bad Mikiko: "Just go inside and take a look!" Hokkaido is a "gourmet paradise," so I'm always battling with my inner thoughts. When I entered the shop, I was greeted by a sweet aroma of strawberries. They offer various types of daifuku with ingredients like sweet red bean paste, white bean paste, and even matcha or hojicha (roasted green tea) kneaded into the mochi. They also have seasonal limited edition items. I ordered: - Strawberry Daifuku (with smooth red bean paste) for 260 yen It was a bit on the sweet side, but the combination with the strawberries was great. They also use ingredients from Hokkaido, which is a plus. The shape of the daifuku was irresistible, and I couldn't resist buying it. It would make a great gift too! Overall, it was very delicious! Thank you for the meal. Address: 5-8-5 Kita 7 Jo Nishi, Kita-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido Phone: 011-839-2039 Opening hours: 10:00-19:00 Closed on irregular days I will definitely go back to buy more. ◆Sapporo Potapota Ichigo (Strawberry Daifuku)◆About a minute's walk from Sapporo Station North Exit. I tried the Strawberry Daifuku at Potapota Ichigo, a specialty store for Strawberry Daifuku, in their lounge. (Red bean paste, 260 yen each) I love Strawberry Daifuku, so I had high expectations being a specialty store, but it was just average. The balance of strawberry, red bean paste, and mochi was a bit off. (It's not bad by any means) I think the Strawberry Daifuku from a traditional Japanese confectionery in Tokyo is of higher quality overall.

I went to the outlet mall Rera in Chitose, where a strawberry daifuku specialty store from Sapporo was having an event. I love strawberry daifuku, so I went to buy some. They were selling the following: - 3 strawberry daifuku for 780 yen - 2 chocolate daifuku for 580 yen Lately, it seems like daifuku with strawberries on top are popular. When did they become so cute? Personally, it looks like the strawberries are wearing kimonos. I thought this way of serving was new, but apparently Sazae sells this type every year for a limited time. They only sell them in sets of 3, and when you hold them, they feel heavy. The pink one has white bean paste, the white one has smooth bean paste, and the green one has chunky bean paste. I put them in the fridge, so they became hard, but the mochi is thick and the strawberries are big. It's hard to eat them together because of that, but the sour strawberries go well with the sweet bean paste. Thank you for the meal.

On a certain holiday, I wandered around and ended up at the Sapporo Station North Exit area in North 7th Street, West 5th Street. I remembered being taken care of at a shop on the train street before, and found a shop with a large strawberry-filled daifuku mochi. The shop is located on the 1st floor of a building and has a luxurious feel to its small but well-organized interior. I had no problem choosing and purchasing the strawberry daifuku to take home, as there were many vibrant ones on display. On this day, I decided to try something different from the menu while recalling my previous visit, so I asked the motherly figure who seemed to be at the train street shop for the "Strawberry Marshmallow" skewer and the "Strawberry Sakura Mochi." The "Strawberry Marshmallow" was intriguing with the strawberry skewered on it, so I bought it out of curiosity. When I took a bite, I was surprised by the refreshing acidity of the strawberry, balanced well with the sweetness of the chocolate sauce on top and the marshmallow. The alternating sweetness and acidity created a nice balance. As for the "Strawberry Sakura Mochi," it had the expected flavors of sakura mochi with a hint of saltiness from the leaf, and smooth red bean paste. However, the sudden addition of the strawberry's acidity was a pleasant surprise. The motherly figure mentioned happily that they were able to open a second shop, which was great news. I thanked her and wished her good health and success. Thank you for the meal.

Sapporo Station North Exit. This is a specialty store for strawberry daifuku, but they also sell sesame mochi and mitarashi in packs. The price range for strawberry daifuku is from 260 yen to 300 yen. It's not made with mochi, but with daifuku. They cut a slit at the top and put a strawberry on it. The flavors available are smooth red bean paste and chunky red bean paste. They also have mugwort daifuku, bean daifuku, roasted green tea daifuku (with roasted green tea paste), and special strawberry daifuku (strawberry mixed into the mochi). There are also marshmallows and pudding-like treats with strawberries in the corner, but over 90% of the selection is strawberry daifuku. They don't sell regular daifuku without strawberries. I tried the 260 yen smooth red bean strawberry daifuku. Just the daifuku part. The mochi is nice, but without the red bean paste. However, when eaten together with the strawberry, it should be considered as a strawberry daifuku. The strawberries are large with firm flesh. Overall, it's the tastiest as a strawberry daifuku. The combination of fruit and thick mochi is delicious. It's a nice treat once in a while. It would make a great gift. Personally, I'm not a big fan of fruit daifuku and often find them not very tasty. But I realized that when the strawberry is placed on top without being wrapped in red bean paste, it's not bad, but the overall quality as a traditional Japanese sweet is different. The sesame mochi, on the other hand, is quite tasty. It comes with four large mochi pieces. It looks like it would be very sweet, but the sesame flavor is strong, and it's not overly sweet. The mochi is made with ground sesame seeds and a bit of moisture, making it easy to eat. Both my mother and I preferred the sesame mochi. We will definitely buy it again. However, to prevent the mochi from drying out, one-third of the sesame is included in the pack. My mother suggested using the leftover sesame for a spinach and sesame salad. A salad with a bunch of spinach would be enough. The price of the strawberry daifuku seemed a bit high to me. But considering the appearance, novelty, and variety of flavors, it might be worth trying once.

I had been curious about "Potapota Ichigo" but didn't have a chance to go until now. Finally bought it! The strawberries are big and satisfying to eat. They are so sweet! The mochi is soft and delicious. The sweet red bean paste is just the right amount of sweetness for me. I brought it to my mother who is in the hospital, and she really enjoyed it, saying "What is this? It's delicious!" It made me happy.

I visited Potapota Ichigo around 4 pm on a national holiday, as I was craving some daifuku. The shop was as cute and red as ever, and I felt a bit shy entering alone (lol). I ordered the limited edition Strawberry and Bean Daifuku (290 yen). The black beans had a mild saltiness and a nice chewy texture. The sweet red bean paste was generously packed inside. The strawberry had a slightly tart taste, but paired perfectly with the sweet red bean paste. The size of the daifuku was large, and the moment I took a bite, the juicy strawberry burst in my mouth, which was amazing. This daifuku is perfect for those who want to enjoy both bean and strawberry daifuku. It was a delicious treat!
