It's so delicious. No matter which flavor you choose. I became friends with this restaurant on LINE. I received a 100 yen discount coupon on Friday and was invited. The chunky chashu is so tasty that I end up finishing the whole bowl by scooping up the soup with the spoon after the noodles are gone. The chashu is so fragrant and really delicious. Ramen enthusiasts may prefer a more hearty flavor, but for me, this place is the best lately.

2023♡♡55th bowl, 6/22, between lunch and evening (lol) Spicy miso ramen! First time here, I got rejected. Turns out they don't do continuous service. I knew they were open all day and I've been curious about this place for a while. There was no one here at this time, and they didn't have fried rice either (´;ω;`) Spicy miso ramen! The noodles were thin but they soaked up the soup well, and the soup was piping hot! Recommended for those who don't like lukewarm soup (* 'ᵕ' )☆ The chashu was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and I'm curious about the miso and shrimp miso too. I want to go back to try the fried rice! The moderate level of service was appreciated! I want to buy some chashu and their bento boxes look delicious too (*´﹃`*) Thank you for the great meal!

Miso ramen + fried rice set: 1,050 yen (tax included). This set is quite filling. The miso ramen is famous, with egg noodles. The soup is especially delicious, you can drink it until the last drop. It's not as rich as a tonkotsu ramen, but it has a depth of flavor. The chashu has a good amount of fat and is delicious (which is my preference). Other menu items of interest: - Soy sauce ramen: 780 yen - Chashu and egg over rice bowl: 330 yen

Popular restaurants in this area are closed on Wednesdays, so I decided to have lunch here. I ordered the fried rice set because I heard that their miso soup is delicious. It was a bit on the sweet side, and the fried rice was quite flavorful. They seem to focus on their chashu, and it was tender and delicious, although not too fatty. Thank you for the meal!

The miso ramen and chashu don are delicious. The hot soup is rich yet mellow, with a strong and savory miso flavor. The medium-thick curly noodles are firm and tasty. The toppings include wood ear mushrooms, green onions, and bamboo shoots, keeping it simple. The chashu don features tender chashu with a sweet sauce over a generous portion of rice. Despite being a one-person operation, the owner is efficient and creates a pleasant atmosphere.

On the way back from shopping, I heard on the radio that the lucky item is "ramen"! So, I stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to check it out. Inside, there was a ticket machine where I bought my ticket. The small shop had about 4 people at the counter and only 2 tables. We were seated at the counter, but there were also tables at the back. I ordered "miso with green onions" and my partner ordered "salt". The noodles were cooked firm, which made it a bit hard to eat, so I decided to order softer noodles next time. The soup was clear and had a rich flavor, indicating that the broth was carefully made. The miso sauce was just right, allowing the flavor of the miso to come through while still highlighting the taste of the broth. Overall, it was delicious!

When it gets hot, my symptoms worsen, as I have a designated rare disease by the government. There is no cure for my rare disease yet, but I temporarily improve when I receive "blood products" for 5 consecutive days. I was hospitalized 5 times last year for treatment related to my rare disease. I was admitted for the second time this year on April 4th, but was discharged 44 days ago. However, due to deteriorating health, I have scheduled my third hospitalization this year, which will happen as soon as a ward becomes available. Your supportive comments are always a source of strength for me during my hospital stays, and I am truly grateful. Moving forward, I plan to focus on reviewing past entries and limit new visits based on my health condition. One of the local ramen shops I visited is "Men-dokoro Someiyoshi-no Shinro-ten," which opened in October 2014. During a lunch visit with my usual companion after coming directly from the hospital, we tried their "Shrimp Miso Tsukemen" as it was a hot day. The staff mentioned a topping service for those who registered on LINE, so I chose "Seared Chashu 2 pieces" and my companion chose "Menma." After an 8-minute wait, our Tsukemen dishes arrived. The noodles were thick and slightly curly, made by Enzan Seimen, and were pleasantly cold. The shrimp miso dipping sauce had a subtle shrimp flavor and was moderately salty. The toppings included chashu, menma, seasoned egg, seaweed, and green onions. The dish was priced at 1000 yen including tax. The thick and refreshing Enzan Seimen noodles were enjoyable, and the generous amount of chashu added to the overall experience. The dipping sauce was a safe and basic miso flavor with a hint of shrimp. I would have liked grated garlic on the table to enhance the flavor. Overall, it was a delicious meal. Thank you for the treat.

This post is over a month old, haha, just laughing and passing by... It seems like not just Somei Yoshino, but all cherry blossoms have fallen. As soon as you enter, a cute gay guy stands next to the ticket machine and explains everything without being asked. Once you sit down, he asks if you have LINE and talks about adding friends... I accept anything with a good vibe, wholeheartedly (*´◒`*). Fish broth soy sauce ramen: I received a lot of grilled seaweed as a service through LINE. I liked the fish soup, but the noodles were a bit soft. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant because there was a coupon for a free topping. I ordered the miso ramen for 550 yen with an additional 220 yen for chashu. The soup was mild and lacked richness. The noodles were quite dominant, which threw off the balance for me. Perhaps this place leans more towards soy sauce ramen.

I visited "Men-dokoro Someiyoshi" in Higashi Naebo for the first time in November 2021, which was my 30th visit of the year. I signed up for their LINE account and have been receiving frequent special offers. I visited the "Shinoro shop" for their 7th anniversary, tempted by their LINE promotions. They were offering their signature ramen for only one coin. The shop is a bit difficult to access from the northbound Ishikari Highway, but the parking lot is a bit tricky to navigate. I tried the "Shio" ramen, originally priced at 750 yen but discounted to 500 yen. The toppings included chashu, seasoned bamboo shoots, green onions, seaweed, and wood ear mushrooms. The noodles seemed to be from Kobayashi Seimen with a high water content. Unfortunately, the soup lacked depth and tasted somewhat artificial, unlike the flavorful ramen at their Higashi Naebo branch. It was not to my liking. I also tried the "Shoyu" ramen, also discounted to 500 yen from 750 yen. It had a soy sauce-based broth with a cloudy appearance. However, like the Shio ramen, it lacked depth and flavor. Despite the anniversary campaign, the quality of the ramen did not impress me. The Shinoro shop seemed less lively and busy compared to the Higashi Naebo branch. I wonder if they can retain regular customers with this level of ramen. I hope the anniversary campaign does not backfire on them.

I love the ramen here! The miso flavor is really delicious. There are many other delicious ramen shops in the Shinoro area, but my favorite taste at Totoron is here. There are about three popular shops in the area, but I think the ramen here and another shop are the best (*´艸`) It's nice when you can actually taste the miso flavor, right?

【Someniyoshino Shinro Branch】I was excited to explore a new area since it was my day off, but the restaurant I headed to was unexpectedly closed. So, I searched for a new place and found this one. The parking lot was spacious, and they had a ticket machine ordering system. As I was pondering over my order at the machine, a staff member asked me if I had a point card. It seemed like they had quite a few regular customers. It was around 1 pm, with two groups of customers already there. As I was eating, more customers started to trickle in. They also offered bento boxes and takeout. I tried the "Spicy Miso" ramen with curly noodles, chashu, green onions, menma, wood ear mushrooms, and seaweed. The soup had just the right amount of spiciness, and it didn't need extra spice added. It was a bit salty for my taste, but compared to a famous disappointing spicy miso ramen I had before, I definitely preferred this one. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but it felt more universally appealing. The gyoza was just average, not exceptionally good or bad. Personally, I prefer thinner skins.

Today is so hot... I really feel like having cold ramen. It's my first visit in a while, and yet I ordered a bowl of ramen with ice in it, making it really cold. Visually, the ice floats around and gives a refreshing feeling. When I tried it, even though the soup was cold, it wasn't greasy, which I liked. However, because it's cold, the flavors may seem stronger to some people. Taste preferences vary, after all.

I couldn't find the restaurant I was looking for, so I decided to enter this one that caught my eye on the way. I vaguely remember reading someone's review, but I don't remember the details. Now, what should I eat? They seem to recommend something called "gorochar" which is diced chashu, but I'll try that after tasting the three flavors first. I chose the "shoyu ramen" for 750 yen, a classic option. The pork bone soup has a slight smell, but it's not a problem. The chashu is good too. The noodles are thick curly noodles from Kobayashi Seimen, a bit too thick for my liking but it's not a problem. I got a free seasoned egg for registering on LINE, it's a bit salty... but still not a problem. I tried some of my wife's fried rice. It's a bit sweet, they must be using chashu sauce, but it's not a problem at all. Due to the location, I can't go often, but I feel like the light flavors suit me. Thank you for the meal (^o^)

I finally visited a restaurant that caught my eye every time I passed by, Somenoshino Shinro Branch. I was a bit indecisive with the menu, but I chose the Japanese soy sauce with seafood broth (750 yen), while my companion went for the spicy miso (850 yen). The dishes were ready in less than 5 minutes. First, I tasted the soup... it was made with bonito, dried sardines, and kelp, but I couldn't really taste the fish flavor... maybe there was some kelp flavor? When I first ate it, I couldn't tell if it was a rich flavor or not. The noodles were described as thin noodles on the menu, but in my opinion, they were medium-thick, slightly curly, and made with a lot of water. They were made by Kobayashi. The toppings included chashu pork, bamboo shoots, green onions, chopped wood ear mushrooms, and nori seaweed. The chashu pork was well seasoned and tasty, but I didn't like the slightly star anise-like aroma. The bamboo shoots seemed to be factory-made and had a peculiar smell and taste. The wood ear mushrooms had a crunchy texture, but the taste seemed a bit off to me... My companion enjoyed the spicy miso, but it wasn't quite to my liking. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Somme Yoshino, which was featured in a magazine, after an event. My partner ordered the Gorochan miso ramen (¥950), while I played it safe and got the regular soy sauce ramen (¥750). The ramen was served quickly after we ordered. The Gorochan miso ramen was impressive, as they brought a table burner to sear the meat. The soy sauce ramen was light and not too heavy on the pork bone flavor, with a subtle garlic taste. The Gorochan was delicious, similar to the Chashu at Matsuki that we love. My partner discovered a lot of hidden Gorochan at the bottom of the bowl, making it quite filling. The regular Chashu, on the other hand, seemed less flavorful after trying the Gorochan. We also got complimentary gyoza with a coupon, but the strong vegetable smell (more like Chinese cabbage than leek) didn't sit well with me. The broken cap on the chili oil bottle caused the gyoza sauce to splash, so they should fix that. While the ramen is quick and decent, the price seems a bit high for a ramen without extra toppings like a seasoned egg.

I had been curious about this ramen shop in the neighborhood for a while, and I finally visited on a holiday night. It was lucky that there were only two customers at the counter, so it was not crowded. I ordered the miso ramen with chashu and gyoza, and both were delicious! The miso ramen had a sweet miso flavor that was very tasty. The noodles were firm and tangled well with the soup. I didn't ask for it this time, but for an additional 200 yen, they will make egg rice porridge with the remaining soup from the ramen. I think it would be delicious with rice added. Of course, the chashu was also included, and they seared it at the table, which made it even more fragrant and delicious. The gyoza had plenty of juicy meat inside and was also very tasty. I want to take some home. I definitely want to go back again.

I stopped by the restaurant today because my wife is working part-time and the kids are at my mother-in-law's house. I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen for 850 yen from the ticket machine. The medium-thick noodles are coated in a soup that is not too spicy, with a hint of vegetable sweetness. The toppings include two slices of tender pork chashu, menma, chopped green onions, thinly sliced wood ear mushrooms, and seaweed. I recommend warming up the cold chashu by soaking it in the soup. As I was leaving, I realized I had a coupon for gyoza... I must have come here many times, but this is my first review! (laughs)

This is my favorite place in the Sasagoji area♪ I usually eat their Gorochar, but this time I tried their special limited menu for one coin to celebrate reaching 10,000 followers on LINE@, even though they were prepared to operate at a loss. It was my first time trying their regular miso soup, which had a slightly sweet taste♪ I really liked it (〃▽〃) I wanted to make it a bit spicy halfway through, so I added some chili oil, shichimi pepper, and sesame seeds to create my own spicy miso ramen haha. It was also delicious (*^^*) I discovered a way to enjoy it twice as much in one go haha.

The combination of shrimp flavor and miso flavor became too overpowering, with their sweet flavors becoming too strong towards the end, making it a bit boring. It might be more delicious to go for a ramen with a salty taste and a stronger seafood flavor instead.
