I have been here a few times, but this was my first time trying their fruit sandwich (* ॑ ॑* ). It had plenty of whipped cream with strawberries, mandarins, and yellow peaches! The bread was soft and fluffy, and I finished it in no time♡ I always buy their bread here and never get tired of it ( ˙༥˙ ) haha

When it comes to penguins, curry bread is a must! It's always delicious no matter when you eat it. You can also eat in at the store, so you can buy and enjoy it on the spot. There's Nakajima Park nearby, so taking it to go and eating it in the park is also nice.

I finally got to enter the shop I had lined up for multiple times and given up on. I was able to purchase the curry bread I was looking for. It was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the best curry bread I have ever eaten in my life! The staff were also very friendly, and I became a fan. Next time, I will come to buy melon bread!

This is a large bakery along the street with eye-catching pastries. I bought just one croquette from the bakery (150 yen including tax) because I try to avoid consuming too much flour. The croquette was covered in flour, but I bought it anyway. I didn't eat it right away because it was cold. When I got home, I took out the croquette and took a picture of it while my dog barked at me. The croquette was soft and moist, with a sweet potato filling that I enjoyed. I finished it quickly and then realized I forgot to share some with my dog. Thank you for the meal!

After returning from lunch, I stopped by Penguin Bakery for the first time in a while and bought a dessert for lunch. After browsing through various options, I decided to go with the croissant au chocolat. It looked really delicious. When I got home, I cut it and tried it. I expected the whipped cream to be delicious, but it was actually quite sweet and a bit greasy, which I didn't enjoy much. On the other hand, the custard was just right in sweetness and really delicious.

After work, I decided to grab a light meal at a bakery called Penguin Bakery. They are open until around 7pm, which is convenient. I also bought some bread for breakfast the next day. I got the "Flying Bread" loaf, half a Chocolate Marble bread, a Mini Melon Pan, and a Salted Chocolate bread to go. In the cafe area, I ordered the Shrimp Curry Fondue bread. They offer freshly fried bread if requested, but only until 5pm, so be aware of that. I arrived after 6pm, so I got pre-made bread, but it still had a nice crispy texture and I had no complaints. The bread was filled with chunks of shrimp, giving it a unique flavor that I really enjoyed. Among the things I bought, I particularly liked the Chocolate Round. I had a slice for breakfast at home and it was delicious with chunks of chocolate inside, providing a good balance of sweetness and satisfaction. I will definitely buy it again. I'm curious about the other round breads too. Thank you for the meal.

I discovered the Penguin Bakery early in the morning while on the move! Even though I had breakfast just now, I felt a bit hungry, so I bought some snacks. The "Bacon Epi" (250 yen) had a crispy French bread dough with a salty bacon flavor, creating a harmonious blend of wheat and bacon. Delicious! The "Penguin Bread" (240 yen) was cute, although the penguin shape was a bit questionable. Inside was a sweet chocolate cream filling. The "Plenty of Corn Bread" (170 yen) had a slightly weak sweetness from the corn, but the balance with mayonnaise was perfect. The sweet and soft bread dough paired well with it. Delicious! The "Penguin Chiffon Cake" (230 yen) was fluffy and moist with a gentle sweetness. Delicious! Although the prices were a bit high, all the items were tasty, and I'm sure they are popular due to the demand. I will definitely visit another branch of the Penguin Bakery again. Thank you, Yamahana Store!

A furniture manufacturer has been steadily increasing the number of stores since entering the bakery business. The location of the store is near the boundary between South 10th and 11th Streets along the city tram line. I visited for the first time on January 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM. I usually don't come to this area, but I found Penguin Bakery while looking for lunch. I'm not a fan of the combination of wheat and yeast, but I decided to stop by because I might not have another chance. I saw a customer spending nearly 3,000 yen and decided to give it a try. I purchased a croissant for 130 yen and a chocolate coronet for 190 yen. Unfortunately, I didn't really like the taste. The croissant had a strong butter flavor, but that was about it. I prefer a lighter chocolate cream in the coronet. Overall, the taste, aftertaste, texture, and flavor were not to my liking. Penguin Bakery seems to be doing well, as many of their locations are thriving. That's all.

Before noon, the shop was not crowded yet so I could leisurely choose my bread♫ I ended up choosing a croissant. It was crispy and flaky, with a lovely buttery aroma. And then... a penguin pastry with chocolate cream to soothe my soul. I'll save the toast for next time (^∇^)

On August 2, 2021 (Monday), I actually wanted to order pizza delivery and eat it, but ended up stopping by the Penguin Bakery Cafe in Yamahana Store on a whim while going to the nearby supermarket to buy drinks. I don't usually go into bakeries, so I felt a bit embarrassed and out of place in the stylish atmosphere, and had never been there before. I heard that their curry bread is famous... So, I bought a curry bread fondue and an Iberico bacon pizza. I actually like curry bread, but to be honest, I could have done without the cheese ( ̄▽ ̄;) The pizza bread had just the right amount of saltiness from the bacon, and since I was in the mood for pizza, it was perfect (^-^)v Next time, I want to try a regular curry bread. Thank you for the meal! (*˘╰╯˘)ゞ

I occasionally use this place, but this is my first time posting. I like the additive-free bread and sometimes buy it as a snack for my child after their lessons. Some stores offer a free slice of bread, but I haven't received it recently. It's a shame that the stamp card now has an expiration date. Anyway, Matryoshka, my child bought it and I don't feel like buying it at any store, but it looks cute so I took a picture. When I tried a bite, it was much tastier and easier to eat than I expected. It might be too rich if you eat the whole thing, though.

In Sapporo, I came across a curry bun that won the gold award at the Japan Curry Bun Grand Prix. It was the Shrimp Curry Fondue from Penguin Bakery. Although it seemed like a place where you could eat in, they were not offering dine-in service at the moment due to the current situation. I purchased it and ate it outside immediately. The bun was crispy and fluffy. Inside, there was more of a presence of cheese than curry. The shrimp, although small, had a generous amount in it. When I took a bite of the whole combination, I could definitely taste the curry, and the richness of the cheese and the flavor of the shrimp made the curry delicious. It was a luxurious curry bun. Perhaps because it was freshly fried, it tasted even better. I think even if reheated, it would still be delicious.

I finally visited Penguin Bakery, which I had been curious about for a while. I found out that their curry bread was on sale, so I decided to go. I bought an shrimp curry bread, a mixed pizza bread, and a pentozzo bread. I also signed up for LINE and got a discount for bread under 200 yen for free. I was able to enjoy them at a great deal. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I don't usually write reviews, but I often visit the supermarket next door, so I visit this place frequently. This time, the appearance was so Instagrammable that I decided to write a review after a long time (lol). *Pentozzo (250 yen) I found out about this new product through a sales message on LINE since we are friends on the app. The name "Pentozzo" comes from "penguin" and "maritozzo" (a type of brioche). I'm not really a fan of brioche, but since it was only 250 yen, I decided to give it a try. The cream was light, making it easy to eat even with a generous amount. Cream and strawberries are the ultimate combination, right? The airy bread was more down-to-earth than brioche. It was larger than I expected, so I have no complaints about the price. I will try other flavors if they come out (*'ω'*).

I wanted to eat penguin bread for the first time in a while, but when I arrived at the store, I saw a curry bread pop-up display and decided to buy it. It said it won the Japan Curry Bread Grand Prix gold award, and they offered to fry it for me when I purchased it. I planned to eat it at night this time, so I bought it as is. It had a delicious cheese flavor and was super tasty. I also bought various other items, although they didn't have the bread I was looking for, everything was consistently delicious.

A high-class bakery is much closer to my house, but I prefer going to this bakery over that one. LOL Quick review: Curry Pan Fondue - This curry pan won the gold prize in a curry pan grand prix competition. It has cheese inside and when you heat it up and cut it with a knife, the cheese spreads out, making it look like there's not much filling, but there is actually plenty inside. If it was just regular cheese, I wouldn't be that into it, but using fondue cheese makes it super gooey and it goes really well with the curry. Heating it up and eating it while the cheese is all stretchy gets me excited! The curry is also nicely spiced to match the richness of the cheese. This is definitely better when heated up before eating! Thank you for the meal.

On Sunday, I strolled around the Yamahana area and visited "Penguin Bakery Cafe Yamahana Store", "Doguri", and "Penguin". I always had the impression that they had a lot of products piled up and were wasting a lot. However, when I visited around 4 pm on Sunday, the displayed products were not as many as I thought. I bought Stick Chocolate for 190 yen and Bacon Epi for 240 yen (tax included) to take home. The Stick Chocolate had a crispy dough with a slightly sweet and chunky hard chocolate material that was not too sweet, giving it a unique texture like a snack rather than bread. The Bacon Epi, wrapped in plastic, had a slightly soft crust, and the bacon's salty taste with a strong smoky aroma enhanced the umami flavor. I forgot to take a picture, so it didn't look very appealing, but the taste was not bad. I would like to try it again if the crust is crispy when freshly baked. Thank you for the meal.

Second time here so I'll make it quick!
- Spicy Curry Bun @220: Despite the challenge for spicy lovers, it was actually quite mild. Couldn't really taste the death sauce haha. Not satisfying for extreme spicy fans.
- Gapao Noodles @280: Bought it on a whim since it's rare. Contains lettuce and red ginger? The gapao noodles give it a yakisoba-like texture but the dough is firm and spicy! Yummy!
- Three-Layer Pork Cutlet Sandwich @380: Thick meat! So it's quite filling. But it's tender so you can keep eating ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ Moist and delicious!
- Salt Bread @120: A gentle hint of saltiness. Personally, I wish it had a bit more saltiness.
- Croissant made from Hokkaido wheat @190: Maybe because it's wrapped, the crispiness seems a bit weak...?
- Mini Baguette @150: Cute size ( ¨̮ ) Just right for when one piece is too much! Crispy outside, chewy inside and delicious.
At the checkout, they said, "We're currently giving out free samples of a slice of bread if you'd like to try it," so I happily took it home. I enjoyed the bread I bought last time so I'm happy about this. Thank you for the meal!

Located along the tram street at Minami 11 Nishi 7 in Sapporo. Right near the tram stop Nakajima Koen-dori. It's conveniently situated between my home and workplace, so I stop by occasionally on my commute. When the store first opened in Sapporo, I felt like the taste and price didn't quite match up, but over time, the prices of various breads have gone down. My favorite is the "buta pan," a slightly hard bread filled with seasoned ground pork. However, they were sold out on this day. I noticed they had curry and cheese flavors nearby. Perhaps they are new products? So I purchased the cheese buta pan. I also bought the "nozawana oyaki pan," which has pickled turnip inside. They even gave me a slice of bread made with local Yumetororo wheat as a service. That's nice. There were also new items like zangi (fried chicken) skewers and chikuwa bread. It felt like a bakery somewhere (laughs). The cheese buta pan was delicious as expected, with the rich flavor of cheese. It turned into a quite satisfying breakfast. Thank you for the meal.
