Second visit. A casual and relaxing restaurant with a pub-like atmosphere that is within walking distance from home. The meat quality is quite good, as I felt during my last visit. I recommend the beef liver and seseri. There are various flavors of seseri. On weekdays, the all-you-can-drink lemon sour is very cheap and recommended. Thank you for the meal.

During my shopping trip, I finally visited Sumi Douraku, a place I had been curious about. When I called before, it was full and I couldn't get in, but this time it was okay. In addition to the meat dishes, there were plenty of izakaya-style menu items, creating an atmosphere where you could easily spend a long time. The meat dishes were plentiful and delicious, and the drink menu was extensive. They had various types of beer available (maybe depending on the day). I was satisfied with the casual atmosphere and the sense of distance. Thank you for the meal.

Sometimes you may fall into the trap of meat cravings. Meat cravings can be contagious through reviews, so it is recommended to take precautions before reading further. I am also wearing gloves while writing this review (due to certain circumstances). I couldn't resist the craving for meat today, so I decided to have yakiniku for lunch. I had decided to go to Charcoal Douraku after seeing their lunch sign a while back. I enjoyed the smoky flavor of charcoal-grilled meat and the fulfilling lunch set. The lunch included various types of meat such as beef sagari, beef karubi, pork bara, chicken seseri, and chicken momo, as well as salted hormone, tongue, rice, mini salad, soup, kimchi, mini cold noodles. There was a wide variety of meats to enjoy. The quality of the meat was decent considering the price and portion size. The soup was better than Tokujyo's, and the cold noodles were refreshing with a nice acidity in the soup. The drink served was oolong tea in a big glass with a side of cold water, which was a nice touch. If the meat cravings persist, I recommend continuing with a second round of onions. Personally, I didn't need to add a second round of onions as my meat cravings were satisfied perfectly that day, and I felt full even in the evening.

This is a yakiniku restaurant located relatively close to the Maruyama Park area (Sapporo's upscale neighborhood). It is a bit unclear which is the nearest station, so it seems best to come by car as there is a parking lot in front of the restaurant. They serve charcoal-grilled meat on a shichirin (portable charcoal grill) style, and when I visited alone, I was seated at a table for four, so it seems like it's better to come with 2-3 people or more. The menu is not high-end but rather geared towards families with relatively affordable options (some frozen meat is served, but the prices are lower). In an area where there are many high-end yakiniku restaurants, this type of restaurant is rare and valuable. There are seats at the back for about 8 people, and there were 2-3 lively local families (not celebrities) in the restaurant. The offer of a 90-minute all-you-can-drink for 1,350 yen was tempting, but since it requires a minimum of 2 people, I had to pass on it this time. The review on Tabelog at the time (mid-December 2018) was 3.08 points.

I visited this restaurant with my friends because a well-known tipster recommended it, and to my surprise, it turned out to be right next to my best friend's house! I remember her mentioning that the food there was delicious even though she doesn't like meat. We ordered all types of hormone dishes for our hormone party, except for the "extremely spicy hormone" which we decided to skip this time. The dishes, including Shiro, Maru Chou, Miso Hormone, Salt Hormone, and others, were all delicious with no unpleasant smell and perfect seasoning. We also enjoyed the complimentary seaweed soup as a palate cleanser. We added our favorite dishes, Miso Hormone and Spicy Miso Hormone, while chatting and leisurely grilling and eating. It was a blissful and happy time. We didn't miss the poster advertising a women's party with 12 dishes and 3 hours of all-you-can-drink for 2,800 yen, so we are definitely planning to visit again for that next time!

Welcome! ┌¬o"* * * 2015.08 ↓Located in the western loop line of the Yamabana district in Chuo-ku, around Keimei, always caught my eye from the bus window, this Nikuyaki place, a difficult corner to park in due to its narrowness and electric poles! |o| °д°)ノWhen you open the door, you are greeted with a festive atmosphere by the friendly owner and the polite Wakaino-kun. The place is popular with families, with children's voices filling the air, along with the loud voices of adults! The tables are full, but the counter was empty. The big eater who passed by was hilarious! The food was served in a huge portion, like a manga. When the raised seating area was called, I thought it was a bell... but it turned out to be a wind chime with a fan blowing on it. The phone was like the one in a karaoke room. Ginger to fizzy〜〜〜〜(= ´∀´)ノ They prepared shichirin, tare, garlic, and gochujang. The tare was strange, with a vinegar soy sauce-like sourness. It didn't seem to go well with the food. It's more like beef, right? Let's grill it, let's grill it〜!! o(`ω´ )o The recommended shiro (large intestine) by the owner was washed thoroughly, white in color, with a firm texture and a moderate amount of fat, leaving it juicy. The salt seasoning was gently mixed in, allowing you to savor the sweetness of the fat for a long time. The miso flavor was more like soy sauce, with a spiciness that complemented the saltiness. A friend introduced me to this restaurant and four of us visited together. The shochu bottle Kyougetsu starts at 1,000 yen, which is a great deal! They don't take reservations, but it's no problem for a group of four. The salad is reasonably priced and comes with smoked duck, which is a good deal. The yakiniku options include loin, kalbi, and sometimes thick-cut bacon or sagari (but no Jason!). The meat, whether American beef or Australian, is delicious and reasonably priced. This place seems like it will become even more popular once the TPP negotiations are settled. It's a casual and affordable place that can be enjoyed by families and friends. P.S. The grilled whole squid is also delicious!
