The other day, I had some business at my wife's relative's house in Takikawa. After having dinner at a restaurant, I suddenly felt like having something sweet like a Western-style dessert, so I decided to go to a crepe shop. Oh, this shop isn't in Asahikawa, right? I've always been a fan of chocolate banana crepes, so I chose the chocolate banana crepe here as well. Alright, let's dig in! *munch munch* Hmm...the crepe dough is a bit thick, isn't it? They use rice flour in the dough, but personally, I feel like it's a bit too chewy... It's a bit tiring on the jaw... The whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and bananas are all delicious. The sweetness is just right for me. The taste of the dough itself is not bad... It's just that the texture of the dough is a bit... As someone who prefers thinner and more fluffy dough, I felt like it was a bit of a waste. Hmm...the way it's rolled up feels a bit tight too... Maybe they should make it more elegant... But overall, it was tasty. Thank you for the meal. While eating in the dining area, I felt some glances or rather hostility from behind, so I asked my wife about it, and she said it felt like people were looking because it was Christmas? The people waiting in line for takeout at the KFC were glancing at us... Is it so unusual for people in Takikawa to eat crepes in the dining area?... Oh no, did I eat it in a weird way? Haha. Maybe it's because the dining area here feels like the back of a supermarket checkout... Oh no, those people are eating bento boxes in the supermarket checkout area! Something like that?... (´-ω-`) Oh, there's someone walking confidently out of the parking lot with a melon pan in their mouth! That caught my attention more... Were they unable to wait until they got home?... Well, it was kind of cool, like an old detective drama where they eat anpan while heading to the scene... Haha. *By the way, my wife had the same thing, so I didn't take a picture. Haha.*

I got a take-out of the time-limited banana chocolate item. I love bananas so much that I could call myself "Perman 2", but I also love chocolate and whipped cream just as much, and to top it off, it was a time-limited offer. It felt like I was being told to definitely buy it. It was incredibly delicious. Thank you very much.

390 yen day! I was told not to take lucky photos, so I didn't, but I carefully looked at the menu. It was amazing! I can't do that (lol). I had soft serve ice cream and other things, so I probably went over my calorie limit, but my son chose the shrimp and avocado dish and said it was delicious. Thank you for the meal! pq´v`*)♪

I'm heading towards Dippadan in Iwamizawa for camping with my second daughter. We were told to arrive by 12:30, so we are calculating our actions accordingly. We had lunch in Takikawa, but I really wanted to go to Asahikawa for ramen. When I checked with Google, I found out that Iwamizawa is about 60 km away. I thought we wouldn't make it without taking the highway. Then my daughter informed me that she would be late. I didn't feel any anger at all, it's not really surprising. There's an Aeon there, so that's probably why. Once we meet my daughter's family, we won't have any free time, so I guess that's how it goes. We found "Dippadan." It's not a ballet company. I can't have crepes, so I'll have ice cream instead. Nothing really stands out. I'll go with the strawberry milk flavor, it's only 160 yen, which is cheap and good. There's no special feeling. The ice cream is chewy, with a mild sweetness and a decent strawberry flavor. This amount is enough for me. It's good that it's not too acidic, and I appreciate that. It may not seem like it's cheap when you eat it, but it's good, isn't it?

This is Takigawa. After finishing work, I stopped by at a mall to pick up some things before getting on the highway. I made sure to energize myself with something stimulating so I wouldn't get sleepy on the drive back. The food court was somewhat busy, but the stores had a lonely feel to them. I chose Dippin' Dots near the entrance. This way, I could have both ice cream and a drink, so I went with the Lagoon Float Orange for 390 yen including tax. I enjoyed it in the food court among high school girls. The first sip really woke me up! This orange juice is super refreshing! Just as I had hoped, it really gave me a boost. I wasn't sure about when to eat the ice cream or whether to mix the blue soda at the bottom, but I finished it thinking there probably isn't a right or wrong way. It was a refreshing and delicious float! Maybe choosing orange was the right call. Thanks for the meal!

I didn't know that you could eat strawberry-filled pancakes for only 300 yen. And it's even cheaper for JAF members.

[Food Court Non-Smoking] The crepe and gelato shop, Dipper Dan, operated by Orange Food Court Co., Ltd., which also used to operate Dom Dom Burger. This crepe shop is located in the food court of Daiei Takikawa store (now Aeon Takikawa store) in Higashimachi, Takikawa City. The shop is located about 250 meters from the intersection of National Route 38 (Higashidori) and National Route 12 towards Akahira. Revisited on November 8, 2014 at 11:30 AM. Today's itinerary is going smoothly, with this being the second stop out of five. Feeling no fatigue, we will now head towards our next destination. I can't remember the name of the crepe I ordered as I lost the receipt, but it had a special chocolate flavor. The crepe had a chewy texture with chocolate cream and brownie, perfect for chocolate lovers like me. Now, let's give it one last push towards our final destination!

This is a chain store of crepes and gelato located in the food court of Daiei. I tried the promotion until 8/16 where you can upgrade a double gelato to a triple for free. I have had crepes a few times during my student days, but this was my first time trying gelato. Gelato/270 yen I chose orange, almond caramel, and the seasonal blueberry yogurt flavors. The gelato was more like regular ice cream in terms of firmness, so I decided to get it in a cup to avoid any accidents. The cup was quite deep like the drink cup, so I couldn't see the bottom, but there were indeed 3 scoops inside. The almond caramel was vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce and almonds. It had a smooth texture, with the caramel sauce being sweet and the crunchy almonds adding a nice touch. The orange flavor was a sherbet with actual orange pulp, rich and quite sweet. The blueberry yogurt was frozen yogurt with blueberry sauce, refreshing and my favorite of the three.

This is a crepe shop located on the south side entrance of Daiei Takikawa store. They offer a variety of crepes, gelato, soft serve ice cream, and various drinks. I have only tried their crepes, which are delicious. They have normal dessert crepes (290-420 yen), ice cream crepes (360-430 yen), and meal crepes (340-390 yen). My personal favorite is the strawberry tiramisu crepe. On the 9th, 19th, and 29th of each month, all crepes are priced at 290 yen.
