Wandering new curry mania/fresh ramen mania, a solo middle-aged man. This is a memo-like review from the old man. If you want concise information about the restaurant and food, please move on to other people's reviews around here. This is a retrial of the lunch I missed on the 2nd (Monday). It's New Year's, so if you can feel a bit of a "celebratory mood," that would be nice. The location is on the 10th floor of the JR Sapporo Station "Tokyu Department Store Sapporo Store" restaurant area. I saw previous reviews that mentioned lowering the rating due to "customer service," but the lunch menu looks promising. I thought, let's give it a try. As a former resident of Toyohira-ku, I heard rumors in the past that it was quite highly rated (not here). One person who used to live in Makomanai (Minami-ku) said, "It's so good that I go all the way to Mae (Kiyota-ku) to buy it." (Apparently, they were going back and forth on the back streets towards Takino). The 'Uo Isshin' group closed due to building redevelopment, but they were also reasonably well-regarded at the shop in Rafira underground. Of course, it's not a high-end sushi restaurant, so forgive me. I have high expectations from that point. I entered around 1:20 pm (Monday holiday). This place really feels like it's inside a "department store restaurant area" because of the scale of the interior. There is even a unique "internal staircase" in the store, with seating on the second floor as well. In the "store front part," there was a spacious counter seat with plenty of room even with three sushi chefs. And as you go to the left back, there is a table seat zone. There were about 8 tables. Well, it's not perfect infection control, but it's better than a partition, and it also helps to maintain privacy. There were two people at the counter seats and four groups at the table seats. They were either eating or chatting after finishing their meal. There were no customers behind? Since the store is large, it's unclear where and who they are guiding. I had done some research, so I ordered when I was shown to my seat. Lunch menu 'Takumi' - 14 pieces of sushi - Small dish - Chawanmushi - Miso soup, total 7,161 yen including tax. (Menu display: 3,580 yen + 3,580 yen) Although the menu displays the "tax-inclusive price" with a note, the external tax is added by adding up the base price at the time of payment. I wouldn't say the calculation is wrong, but... The discrepancy (1 yen) between the menu display price and the actual price is a bit strange. The food was served in less than 15 minutes after ordering. Oh, it looks delicious! The shiny and perfectly sized sushi looks great. The appearance meets expectations. - Tuna lean - Sea bream - Salmon - Yellowtail - Squid - Botan shrimp - Scallop - Tuna medium fatty - Abalone - Snow crab - Live scallop - Sea urchin - Salmon roe - Eel I won't explain each piece, but every piece was simply delicious. It's a good cost performance that satisfies the ordinary middle-aged man. The quality of the sushi, considering the "price" and "quality of the ingredients," is something I would be willing to pay a bit more for at a local sushi restaurant. Well, it may not compare to the sushi and skills of the "tens of thousands of yen class" restaurants that everyone reviews. (Self-deprecating/commenting with restraint) But if it's "this price" and "this quality of ingredients," I thought, "I'd like to try it again on some occasion." By chance, there is a lunch at a "local sushi restaurant" near my workplace for 1,100 yen including tax. Even in previous reviews, it was mentioned that "at this price, it's quite satisfactory." At the end of the year, I tried about four times by changing the time and day of the week, but I missed it every time as they were "finished with lunch when the sushi rice ran out." If I had tried the tax-inclusive 1,020 yen lunch at a sushi chain restaurant first... Well... If you think of it as a "lunch" to experience the atmosphere of a "sushi restaurant," it's quite satisfactory, but in terms of the taste of the sushi/restaurant, it's...
