This is Nakajima from Muroran. Today's shop is Kacchan's. It's located right at the entrance of the lantern street, next to Hanjiro's. Since the second planned restaurant was full, we decided to visit here suddenly. There are 4 counter seats and 4 tatami rooms in the back. The charge and charm are 800 yen. We ordered Spanish omelette, baked fish with cheese, and stir-fried chicken and cabbage. They are quite authentic, but in small portions because of the charm. Perfect amount for the second stop (^_^) ・Cheese platter - Various cheeses priced at 400 yen each. We asked for a random assortment. Cheddar cheese and blue cheese were delicious (^_^) ・Kero Kero Koutan @500 - A local Muroran specialty, coffee shochu. It's a refreshing and delicious drink (^_^) ・Black Kero Tan @700 - A cocktail of Kero Kero Koutan and Kahlua. The sweetness of Kahlua combines with the coffee flavor, making it tasty. I'm not a fan of sweet drinks, but this one is delicious (^_^) Since we had a lot at the first stop, we could only order light snacks, but there were quite a few food options available. I want to try the pizza next time. Thank you for the meal ☺

Travel to Muroran. The last shop was "Kacchan". It is a shop I entered looking for wine. It is a shop that suits my taste for the last shop. While chatting with the master, I had wine and cheese, and my husband ordered a coffee shochu written on the board. Its name is "Kero Kero Koutan". It's delicious! I like coffee shochu and even make it myself, but this one is exceptional! Although the color is transparent, the glass brings out the aroma of coffee. Is it just flavor? I thought, but when I took a sip, the taste of coffee spread in my mouth. Both my husband and I were captivated by it in one sip. I had a wonderful time talking with the master, a couple who were also tourists, and enjoying a lovely time. Thank you for the wonderful memories of the trip! Thanks to the master who contacted me and the owner of the liquor store who went out of their way to deliver it, I was able to bring it back home. I am truly, truly grateful! I will definitely visit again!

Last December during the year-end party season, I attended a gathering at a restaurant called "Isakuya Kacchan" in Muroran City. This restaurant is known for its Western-style cuisine, as the name suggests. As it was a gathering, I opted for the 2-hour all-you-can-drink party course for 4,000 yen. The drink options were quite extensive, ranging from beer to cocktails, wine, whiskey, and shochu. Although I didn't drink that day, I enjoyed the delicious dishes that were served, such as the recommended shrimp and mushroom ajillo and the pizza made from 100% Hokkaido wheat. The dessert served individually at the end was also delightful. The all-you-can-drink option for 4,000 yen was definitely worth it. The exterior looks old, but the interior is clean thanks to the efforts of the master. There are 6 seats at the counter, and two tables for four people each in the back. The menu includes pasta, pizza, and a variety of drinks. I like beer, while my wife enjoys cocktails and soft drinks. The Hot Ginger drink was particularly excellent. The master, who loves sake, offers a small selection of Japanese sake as well. I highly recommend trying the simmered offal as a snack. It's a cozy place with a thoughtful master and delicious food.
