Unless there is a recommended dish, I always order salt ramen. I decided to order the salt version of the "Gyousha Ninniku Ramen" because it caught my eye on the menu. The soft-boiled Gyousha garlic paired well with the gentle tasting soup, and it was very delicious. I thought the extra 200 yen for this dish was worth it. I wasn't expecting much from the chashu based on appearance, but it turned out to be tender and tasty. The menma had a nice crunch to it. The noodles were slightly thinner wheat noodles commonly seen in Asahikawa. I like this type of noodles, but they seemed a bit overcooked, perhaps due to the toppings. That was the only downside. The toppings and soup had a gentle flavor which I liked. Next time, I will try asking for the noodles to be cooked firmer.
