During the 3-day weekend, my son who came home for a visit and I took a short trip to Niseko for 1 night and 2 days. We stayed at Ki Niseko, and although the main dining was fully booked when we made our reservation, the hotel recommended several restaurants for us. Since we all wanted to have some drinks, we decided to book a restaurant with a shuttle service. Five minutes before the reservation time, a minivan came to pick us up at the hotel entrance. We arrived at the restaurant in about 3 minutes. The large restaurant had quite a few seats, and despite being in the off-season, it was quite lively. I was eager to drink Lupicia beer, starting with the fruity SOLEIL for a toast. For appetizers, we had delicious large oysters in garlic, salmon marinated with plenty of vegetables, and smoked saury with figs and persimmons. The combination of figs and persimmons was perfect. We also enjoyed a variety of bread with the garlic oil from the oysters. I had another beer at this point, opting for the bitter IPA. The Caesar salad was light and fluffy, and we ate it as a substitute for pasta to reduce carbs. For the main course, we had eel charcoal-grilled on risotto and lamb chops with potato gnocchi. All the dishes were more authentic and delicious than expected, with plenty of vegetables and healthy options. We ate to our heart's content, drank plenty of beer, bought a cake each to enjoy in our hotel room, and the total bill was less than 20,000 yen, so it was great value for money. The casual and pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant, along with the friendly and cheerful staff, including the shuttle driver, made for a highly satisfying dinner experience. The cakes were delicious, and we even bought some beer as souvenirs the next day. We would definitely like to visit this restaurant again in the future.
