During the 3-day weekend, my son who came home for a visit and I took a short trip to Niseko for 1 night and 2 days. We stayed at Ki Niseko, and although the main dining was fully booked when we made our reservation, the hotel recommended several restaurants for us. Since we all wanted to have some drinks, we decided to book a restaurant with a shuttle service. Five minutes before the reservation time, a minivan came to pick us up at the hotel entrance. We arrived at the restaurant in about 3 minutes. The large restaurant had quite a few seats, and despite being in the off-season, it was quite lively. I was eager to drink Lupicia beer, starting with the fruity SOLEIL for a toast. For appetizers, we had delicious large oysters in garlic, salmon marinated with plenty of vegetables, and smoked saury with figs and persimmons. The combination of figs and persimmons was perfect. We also enjoyed a variety of bread with the garlic oil from the oysters. I had another beer at this point, opting for the bitter IPA. The Caesar salad was light and fluffy, and we ate it as a substitute for pasta to reduce carbs. For the main course, we had eel charcoal-grilled on risotto and lamb chops with potato gnocchi. All the dishes were more authentic and delicious than expected, with plenty of vegetables and healthy options. We ate to our heart's content, drank plenty of beer, bought a cake each to enjoy in our hotel room, and the total bill was less than 20,000 yen, so it was great value for money. The casual and pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant, along with the friendly and cheerful staff, including the shuttle driver, made for a highly satisfying dinner experience. The cakes were delicious, and we even bought some beer as souvenirs the next day. We would definitely like to visit this restaurant again in the future.

This is the famous Lupicia restaurant. It had a very nice atmosphere. An artist came in and sang live during our meal. I ordered the roast beef fillet for my main dish. The salad was also very delicious. I highly recommend getting the bread set.

I entered the restaurant as soon as it opened on a regular day. There were about 3-4 groups of people waiting in line, indicating its popularity. The interior of the restaurant is stylish with high ceilings and a good view. The lunch set costs ¥2600 and includes a main dish, soup, salad, bread, and Lupicia tea. You can have unlimited refills of bread and Lupicia tea, which is great. The main dish was the original beef curry, with tender meat and plenty of vegetables. The curry roux is made without flour, has a strong spice flavor, and smells delicious. You can adjust the spiciness with the provided condiments, which are quite spicy. The soup was pumpkin soup, and the bread included French bread and focaccia, which you can dip in olive oil. I tried a bite of the chicken leg blanket, and the meat was incredibly tender and impressive. The tea selection includes three types of tea bags and two types of cold tea. Being able to enjoy luxurious tea is a nice touch. If you order the lunch set, you can get a cake for ¥200 off, but I was too full to try it this time.

I visited this restaurant for dinner for the first time. The interior exudes warmth with a live performance by a LUPICIA exclusive artist. Starting with the appetizer, the second dish was a steamed egg custard with sea urchin and white asparagus with a perfect balance of sweetness and umami. Underneath the grilled amberjack with teriyaki sauce were fresh grilled eggplants. The main dish of fillet steak was also exquisite. The fluffy eel rice bowl that came after was delightful. They satisfied us until the last dessert. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

After shopping at Niseko View Plaza, we arrived at Niseko Villa Lupicia where we had made a reservation. We entered the restaurant as soon as it opened and were seated in a cozy log house-style interior with high ceilings. We chose to share two lunch menu options - C and D. My wife wanted to have the chicken breast main dish but ended up changing her order. We enjoyed the unlimited cold and hot teas from Lupicia, particularly liking the refreshing taste of Soleil Levant green tea. We had bread (French bread and focaccia) which we both agreed that the focaccia was better. The potato potage was warm and smooth, and the salad was surprisingly good. For the main course, we shared asparagus and Hokkaido cream spaghetti, and the Villa Lupicia original beef curry which was delicious with plenty of beef and onions. The side dishes of fried vegetables and pickles complemented the curry well. We also had non-alcoholic sparkling drinks and more bread. My wife enjoyed dipping the bread in the cream sauce from the spaghetti. We also had hot teas such as Japanese corn tea, Earl Grey, and Yutakamidori. Overall, we were glad to have visited Villa Lupicia as we had a great dining experience.

We are heading to this place for lunch on a drive towards Niseko, which is my partner's favorite. We arrived 10 minutes before opening and there was already a line of about 5 families, so it seems to be quite popular. My partner assured me that the restaurant is spacious inside, so we should be fine for the first round. Just before opening time, we went in and found that it was indeed quite spacious. It looks like we won't have to line up before opening today. The ladies ordered curry lunch, while I opted for the pasta lunch. They offer a variety of teas and you can help yourself to them. My daughter had hot red tea from a tea bag, while my partner and I went for the cold green tea. The green tea was surprisingly good, with a fruity muscat-like aftertaste that we couldn't get enough of. We also got some baguette and sweet potato bread with olive oil, which was delicious. The olive oil with salt complemented the bread perfectly. Then, we were served Jerusalem artichoke soup, which was very tasty and comforting. The seafood pasta, with plenty of prawns, was then brought out. The prawns were juicy and the pasta was cooked just right. My partner mentioned that they used to have a buffet style with cakes for dessert before, but perhaps due to COVID, it's no longer available. The prices were reasonable for the Niseko area, and the atmosphere was great. Overall, it was a delicious meal. Thank you! I ended up having three refills of the cold green tea. Thank you, Lupicia, for moving your headquarters to Hokkaido, we will continue to support you!

I stayed at Hilton Niseko Village and enjoyed skiing. However, I decided not to have dinner at Hilton due to poor reviews about the food quality. I found a restaurant called Lupicia which offered a shuttle service. The shuttle was comfortable and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The menu had a decent variety of dishes, but the overall taste was just average. The crab soup was a bit bland, but the cheese platter was delicious. Prices were reasonable for Niseko, but I don't think I will visit again due to the lackluster dining options in the area.

I visited Lupicia at Hilton Niseko Village for lunch as I had a plan without dinner. When I arrived before 6:00 pm, there was live music and singing going on. There were only about three groups of guests, so the spacious restaurant felt relaxed. For dinner, they seemed to have a la carte options. I ordered a warm caprese, assorted bread, and two types of pasta. For drinks, I had non-alcoholic beer and tea from Lupicia. I asked for tea that would go well with the meal. After the drinks, they brought out the assorted bread and olive oil. The warm caprese was interesting, with sweet tomatoes that became even sweeter when heated. I enjoyed dipping the leftover cheese and tomatoes on the plate with the bread. Both pasta dishes were delicious. The pomodoro was meaty and satisfying. For dessert, I had a cake. I chose ice cream and cake, and they made a dessert plate for me. Overall, it was a bit pricey, but understandable considering the live music and singing, typical of Niseko prices. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a tea shop called Lupicia that I had been curious about. They offer a meal lunch with plenty of vegetables, where you can choose between meat or fish as the main dish, with bread and tea buffet included. My husband had the curry lunch set, also with the tea buffet. The meal lunch included fresh vegetables, pickles, carrot rapé, pumpkin soup, and sautéed Rusutsu pork. It was delicious and enjoyable. The curry rice in the curry lunch set was juicy and filled with chunks of tasty meat. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was pleasant, with the staff providing efficient and friendly service. It was nice to see kitchen staff not wearing hats or masks for a change. I now have a new favorite restaurant that is open on Sundays.

I used it for dinner. At this time of year, it was a beer garden style, and we had our meal in the garden without indoor dining (be careful if you don't like bugs. There are mosquito coils and insect repellent sprays available, but bugs can be quite bothersome). The a la carte menu was extensive, and the food and drinks were very delicious and authentic. The vegetables were fresh and you could taste Hokkaido. However, out of the four staff members, two were not wearing masks. It is outdoors, but since we have to have conversations at a fairly close distance when ordering, I was surprised that they were serving without masks during this time when COVID-19 cases are increasing rapidly.

It was located a little west of Niseko Hirafu. Niseko seems to have many stores closed on Mondays, but this one was open. Because of that, it was quite crowded. For lunch, there were four options to choose from. There were a lot of vegetables, and the tea was self-serve. I will attach the menu.

It was my first visit to Niseko, and I was surprised by the town's atmosphere that didn't feel like Japan. In the midst of that, I discovered the lovely LUPICIA restaurant. I was very satisfied with the lunch made with the warmth of wood and local ingredients. Thank you for the delicious meal.

There were three types of lunch options available. I had the pasta lunch, while my wife had the grill lunch. We were seated by the window, although there was also outdoor terrace seating available. The weather was nice and we were in a great mood. I was enjoying craft beer tasting while my wife was indulging in salt cream tea before that. We are now looking forward to the autumn leaves season! Oh, the pasta had potatoes in it, very Niseko-like. The bread was also delicious. Let's stop by Yoichi on the way back and buy some apples. It was a very fulfilling day. The biggest worry was whether our old car would make it back home safely, but thankfully it did! 😂

When I came during the ski season in the past, the inbound economy was booming, with a group of neighboring country people opening expensive champagne and wine bottles loudly. But this time, I was able to enjoy dinner quietly. It's understandable that they probably reduced the menu due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The restaurant opens at 7:00 with last orders at 7:00, so I made a reservation for 5:30. The flavors of all the dishes were spot on, and there was nothing that felt like something was missing. The live performance by a duo played a parade of nostalgic songs for middle-aged and older guests. The young female staff member (possibly of Asian descent) seemed to forget one thing for every one thing she did that we asked. Some customers may get angry and lose their temper. The full-time female and male staff members were efficient and gave clear explanations, leaving a good impression. I took a bus from Hirafu Crossroads (last bus at 17:17) and got off at Kabayama Kita (arrived at 17:22) on the way there. On the way back, I walked uphill to the intersection, then downhill to the Hirafu rental apartment, and was able to return in about 25 minutes. There were sidewalks, and it was not yet dark after 7:00, so I didn't feel unsafe. If you go by car, you can also use a designated driver service.

Dinner in Niseko! Stayed at Hilton Niseko Village, but only room only because the food was too expensive. Ate outside instead. The hotel was nice, with comfortable beds. However, they kept pushing for me to become a Hilton Club member to get free Wi-Fi, which was a bit disappointing. Anyway, let's talk about Lupicia in Niseko. The area has changed a lot with new hotels being built every year. Lupicia moved its headquarters from Tokyo to Niseko, which was a big deal. Niseko is a great place with lots of delicious restaurants. Lupicia is a favorite of mine, and the dinner was great. Especially loved the grilled skewers cooked outside. The lamb skewers and chicken breast skewers were delicious. Also enjoyed the grilled vegetables and seafood. The drinks were good too, particularly the Raspberry Black beer. The live music with keyboard, vocals, and double bass was a nice touch. Overall, a fantastic dining experience in Niseko!

Lunch often appears on Instagram, so I was curious. The set includes a main dish, salad, soup, bread, and tea buffet for 1800 yen. I ordered Aqua Pazza and my partner ordered grilled pork. Bread is refillable. You can also purchase items at the shops on the premises. The tea options include iced tea, hot tea, and oolong tea. Craft beer is also available, with a limited edition pineapple and basil flavor. The mains are carefully prepared and very delicious. The flavors are not overpowering, but gentle and go well with the drinks. The place is very stylish, with a tea shop, cake shop, and shops selling side dishes and bread on the premises. We also visited at night, with a focus on grilled dishes. The only downside was that it was a bit smoky and the orders were a bit confused. However, it was an enjoyable experience!

I had known about this place for a while. I saw on TV that the president and employees moved from Tokyo to Niseko, which piqued my interest. The restaurant has a spacious feel with high ceilings and glass walls offering a clear view of Mt. Yotei. For lunch, you choose a main dish and the salad and dessert change depending on what's in season. Bread, baguettes, and tea are all-you-can-eat buffet style, with various condiments like salt and olive oil available. The drinks include cold and hot tea, the same as what is sold in Lupicia stores. The kitchen is open, with three chefs using local ingredients, including fresh vegetables. The sauces, essential in French cuisine, are authentic, artistic, and rich. The large windows provide a great view of Mt. Yotei, creating a nice atmosphere for enjoying authentic French cuisine. The current business hours are irregular, so it's best to check the website. They plan to focus more on dinner service as winter approaches, so the affordable lunch may only be available for a limited time.

Visited around 11:30 am on a weekday in October. It was already crowded, but managed to find a seat. The all-you-can-eat bread and all-you-can-drink tea were wonderful. The relaxed atmosphere made it enjoyable to eat the soup, main course, and dessert. Didn't have much to say about the taste. Bought craft beer as a souvenir at the adjacent shop. Thank you for the meal!

This is a restaurant produced by the tea specialty shop Lupicia. You can choose one main dish from several options, and the side dishes such as salad and bread are all-you-can-eat buffet style. My friend and I shared the recommended choices of Kajiki tuna and pork shoulder as our mains. The pork shoulder was particularly delicious, as it was roasted whole in a special method only available during this season (it was during Golden Week). The meat was tender and very tasty! There were fresh vegetables, soup, and unlimited tea available, as well as several types of bread, with the walnut bread being especially delicious! For dessert, you can choose two items from the showcase. We had to wait a bit before entering due to the busy season, but if you write down your name and phone number, they will contact you when a table is available, allowing you to pass the time in nearby shops or galleries. The only downside was that the staff cleared our plates without asking when we had left some of the vegetables and sauce from the main dish to eat later. It would have been nice if they had asked if it was okay to clear the plates.
