Had a business dinner at a hotel. I wore a jacket today. Traveling by car with a lot of luggage was no problem. The reservation was made by my daughter at the "Shinsapporo Ark City Hotel". Shinsapporo has both JR and subway lines, so it's convenient. [Menu] - Sashimi...good - Marinated shrimp and scallops...excellent - Taraba crab and clam soup...good - Grilled sea bream...good - Pan-seared beef fillet...excellent - Grilled squid...good - Monkfish liver...excellent - Sushi...average - Sweets...my daughter had it. It was a slightly tense two hours, but it went by in a flash. Congratulations! 🎉

(They also have a points card) The location is directly connected from Shin-Sapporo Station, and there is a spacious parking lot for those who come by car, making it convenient to use. This time, I stayed for one night with breakfast included for 5,400 yen (even though the room was needlessly a twin room ^^;) I usually don't eat breakfast, except when I'm staying at a hotel on a business trip. This hotel doesn't particularly emphasize breakfast, but they have a wide variety of menu items that satisfy my cravings, so I'm content with that. (If you really have the desire to eat a delicious breakfast, you can always explore the area near Shin-Sapporo Station). Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 9:30, I believe. It's nice to have a leisurely breakfast before heading out for sightseeing. Thank you for the meal.

I stayed at the Ark City Hotel, which is conveniently located. Although the building seems to be old, the rooms didn't feel outdated, so I assume they have been renovated. I opted for the accommodation with breakfast, and the breakfast buffet was served in a bright and spacious restaurant with high ceilings and large windows. The variety of food wasn't extensive, but I was happy to see that they used local ingredients such as eggs from Shiraoi, milk from Kobayashi Ranch Story (Shinsapporo Dairy), and other Hokkaido produce. The miso soup with crab dumplings and mountain vegetables was a unique touch. The steamed Hokkaido chestnut pumpkin was fluffy and delicious, although it was a bit challenging to eat. Overall, I enjoyed the breakfast more than the view from the hotel. The open and airy restaurant provided a great dining experience. Thank you for your hospitality.

This is my second time using the banquet service here, and it gives a low-cost impression. It must be quite a challenge to provide a variety of dishes at a low cost. It seems like it's a choice between Sheraton and here in the subcenter. The service for small groups is also good, and you can have wine by the bottle. Sake is served in a large decanter, and you can drink it with a mix of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes. The host's speech was skipped, and we left in the middle of the banquet, skipping dessert and the closing remarks. It was like a drinking party. The new hotel "Avanti" is directly connected to the JR station. There is a restaurant called "Shunfuyu" on the first floor and another building. There are several banquet halls on the upper floors. The food is typical and all-around tasty, with ingredients matching the price. It's a bit standard, but suitable for everyone. The portions are neither too large nor too small. Most people finish their plates at large banquets, which shows that it's good. The service is impressive, with strong male staff members. However, unlike the young female staff who lack attentiveness, they understand the feelings of drinkers and keep pouring wine generously. Thanks to them, I ended up drinking three bottles of wine and got really drunk. Be careful not to spill okonomiyaki on the JR train on the way back.

Located across from JR Shin-Sapporo Station, this hotel is convenient for shopping at Catepri and has a connecting walkway from the second floor of Sun Plaza. The parking lot is shared with Catepri and Duo, making it easily accessible by car. The hotel offers reasonably priced lunches for around 1000 yen. My recommendation is the ankake yakisoba and ankake fried rice. I wish there were a bit more shrimp in them, but considering the affordable price... If you sit by the window, you can see the JR trains passing by.

Congratulations to New Sapporo Ark City Hotel on their 32nd anniversary! I received a commemorative appetizer that was enough for two people, with a wide variety of dishes for around 4000 yen, so it felt like a good deal. New Sapporo Station is undergoing a big transformation. It will be interesting to see what it becomes, along with the changes in Kitahiroshima.

I had a meal at a memorial service for the first anniversary of a loved one's passing. It was a small gathering with just close family members, but the food was decent. The menu was a mix of Japanese and Western dishes. The dishes were elegantly presented, which made me a bit nervous to eat. Everything was delicious, but if you were to ask me what stood out, I wouldn't know what to say. Personally, I think sashimi, simmered dishes, tempura, and chawanmushi would have been enough, but times have changed. Also, the tables were far apart, so it was hard to hear conversations.
