Opened on June 30, 2023! I was able to make a reservation at my favorite Daiichi Hoteiryu series inn and went there on the same day. The inn has a total of 7 rooms, all with spacious rooms and attached baths. There are also rooms with saunas available. One of the perks of staying at this inn is that you can enjoy drinks at Exclamation Bakery, Rainy Day Windy Day Gelato, and Sapporo Tei Shoten, as well as access to the communal baths, saunas, and drinks at Seitoke Western Confectionery and Kakigori the next day. You can visit all these places, but it can get quite busy. In the morning, a breakfast set is delivered to your room through a small window, and you can enjoy freshly baked bread using the bread baking machine in the evening. The ingredients for the bread are from Exclamation Bakery, making it delicious. However, the noise from the bread baking machine can be disruptive to your sleep, so this is something to consider in the future. For dinner, you can enjoy a creative French course by Chef Komatsu, the former head chef of Moto Furano Hoteiryu, at the separate dining establishment "Ichii." The course includes truffles, abalone, Wagyu beef, and other luxurious dishes that will leave you feeling satisfied. The dinner took about 3 and a half hours. You can also choose to have a shabu-shabu course from Sapporo Tei Shoten in your room, or opt for a kaiseki meal at the main building of Daiichi Hoteiryu. The inn's lounge offers a small selection of snacks, bottled beer, and ice cream for you to enjoy in your room. The room's private bath has a window that can be opened for a scenic view, and the hinoki cypress scent is reminiscent of the Suizantei style, which I really like. The beds are king-sized and the furnishings are similar to those at Suizantei, which adds to the calming atmosphere. After staying here, I felt that the price was justified, but I did find the self-service breakfast setup a bit lacking. Personally, I prefer an atmosphere that is more attentive and accommodating, rather than focusing on contactless service. If you prefer contactless service or a more discreet experience, this inn is highly recommended.
