I went with my son who came back home for a visit. We ordered daikon salad, dashimaki tamago, hormone (grilled pork intestine), shrimp chili, etc. The portions were generous, and we couldn't finish it all, so we took the leftovers home.

I visited a restaurant called "Kitahoru" recommended for its hormone hot pot, and I really wanted to try it. The hot pot had a miso base, and although we ordered 3 servings, it felt like the portion was small. However, considering that one serving was in the 300 yen range, the price was reasonable. Once we finished the ingredients, we found the broth to be flavorful despite being a bit low on liquid, and the saltiness of the udon noodles for the finishing touch was noticeable. The menu consisted of many fried items, such as Zangi, oyster fry, and cream croquette, all of which were delicious and did not disappoint. The limited edition cabbage pudding had a unique taste that was not too heavy even after eating too much. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and stylish, with counter seats, private rooms, and semi-private rooms. The doors to the private rooms were Western-style, which was impressive. I made a reservation before going, and the reserved seats had a handwritten message from the staff with the reservation name, showing great attention to detail. I would definitely like to go again.
