After enjoying the sauna and eight baths at Jozankei Onsen, three of us are now relaxing on the tatami mats in the rest area. It feels so nice here! We ordered the "Shiroi Koibito Soft Cream Mix" from the ticket machine and a friendly staff member swirled it for us. Even though we don't usually eat soft serve ice cream, this one is really delicious! And the price is great too, at only 380 yen. Thank you for the meal!

I run, soak in the hot spring, go into the sauna, and eat soft serve ice cream. It's refreshing. The soft serve ice cream from Ishiya is white chocolate flavor, but it doesn't taste like white chocolate that much. Eating it after coming out of the hot spring feels good.

Near Chitose Interchange, there is a super sento with a variety of bath types, although the water quality is not the best. I go there occasionally because of the rich variety of baths available. There is a place in the relaxation area where you can enjoy light meals, with a menu offering around 30 items including sweets. They also serve Shiroi Koibito soft serve ice cream. This time, I noticed a menu posted in the changing room that caught my eye: Frozen Strawberry for 360 yen. I recently had shaved strawberries at a cafe in Chitose for almost double the price, but here it was very reasonable. The strawberries here are cut into chunks instead of shaved, but the flavor is still great, so it feels like a good deal. Topped with condensed milk and whipped cream, the dessert features chunks of frozen strawberries at the bottom. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

After playing at the Chitose Inter Golf Club, which is located near the Chitose Interchange, we enjoyed the adjacent bath and then had a simple reflection meeting on small tatami mats while drinking non-alcoholic beer. The food (snacks) was nothing special, as it was microwaveable commercial food. Overall, the golf course was decent for the price, but the bath with sauna and outdoor bath was very satisfying. It's a great place for a casual, affordable golf and bath experience with a small post-game gathering.

Today I went for the first grass cutting of the year. It was still quite cold. I didn't practice at all and just went straight to the actual round, so it didn't go well. After the round, I went to the restaurant in the facility to eat. Last time I had yakisoba, so this time I was thinking of having miso ramen or something... But I felt like having something light and easy to eat, so I ordered zaru ramen with extra noodles. It was delicious and had a good amount of noodles. It was surprisingly good. Thank you for the meal.

On October 23, I visited the Sapporo Hot Spring "Chitose Noyuen" and tried their Sauce Yakisoba for 450 yen. Unfortunately, they don't offer a large size for the Sauce Yakisoba. I decided to visit the dining area next to the Chitose Inter Golf Course, which offers more affordable meals when entering from the hot spring side. I was tempted by the Zaru Ramen for 500 yen, but this time I went for the Sauce Yakisoba. The aroma reminded me of Maruchan's Yakisoba, which I love. The sauce powder is like a "god" to me. The Yakisoba here was pretty close to my ideal taste, although it lacked in volume. I also enjoyed a second Highball while relaxing. Thank you for the meal!

Located in Sanjo 3-chome, Chitose City. I had soy sauce ramen at "Sensai no Yu En" dining area. The ramen cost 680 yen and came with green onions, menma, 2 slices of chashu, wood ear mushrooms, and 3 narutomaki. I frequently visit Sensai no Yu En since moving from Wakkanai to Chitose in October last year. The bath at my place in Chitose is old and cold, so I rarely use it and prefer going to Sensai no Yu En instead. I have collected over 3 stamp cards for the bath, where you get a free bath after 15 visits (each visit costs 420 yen). The milk after the bath is also delicious, bought from the vending machine in the dressing room. I have written about Sensai no Yu En in the past, as well as the restaurant Inter at the adjacent golf course. The dining area at Sensai no Yu En was not available for meals during my visit in 2014, but now it is. The kitchen is likely shared with Restaurant Inter. The menu at Sensai no Yu En includes soy sauce ramen for 680 yen, miso ramen for 700 yen, and spicy miso ramen for 750 yen. There is no salt ramen on the menu. They also offer curry rice for 500 yen and fried rice for 430 yen. Payment is made through food tickets. They also sell Shiroi Koibito soft serve ice cream, which I often enjoy after a bath. The soft serve costs 350 yen per cup. I also sometimes have a non-alcoholic beer after the bath, such as Kirin Free (280 yen). The soy sauce ramen I had at Sensai no Yu En is similar in taste to the one at Aji no Ramen Akamon in the Aeon Chitose store food court, both of which are part of the Yamazaki Fujiiya group. However, there are slight differences in taste due to different chefs and ingredients. Enjoying ramen, milk, soft serve ice cream, and beer after a bath is a delightful experience. Thank you for the meal. Sensai no Yu En Dining Area 3-1-101 Sanjo, Chitose City 0123-40-1031 12:00-20:00 (bath is open from 10:00-23:00) Closed on irregular days.

I visited alone on a regular day. I had the Yakitori Donburi for 550 yen. It is a dining area located in a public bathhouse where you purchase a meal ticket and serve yourself. I wasn't expecting much, but it was surprisingly delicious for the price. The Yakitori with a rich sweet and savory sauce was served with piping hot miso soup. The dining area may have changed since it was temporarily closed or had changes in operating hours. The menu has also expanded. Surprisingly, there was no typical soft serve ice cream found in hot springs or public bathhouses, instead they offered Shiroi Koibito (white lover) soft serve. By the way, I did not bathe here, as it is not a hot spring but a public bathhouse. Thank you for the meal.

My husband went on a business trip and I decided to treat myself to a nice bath. When I got a bit hungry, I looked at the menu and saw: rice balls (2 for 180 yen), curry rice (500 yen), pork cutlet curry (780 yen), grilled chicken bowl (550 yen), beef bowl or Chinese bowl (550 yen each), half fried rice (220 yen), fried rice (430 yen), cold or hot soba (500 yen), moon-viewing soba (550 yen), yakisoba (450 yen), miso ramen (700 yen), soy sauce ramen (680 yen), spicy miso ramen (750 yen), takoyaki (280 yen), potato nuggets (390 yen), french fries (200 yen), chicken nuggets (240 yen), Japanese-style fried chicken (580 yen), octopus tempura (400 yen), skewered cutlets (180 yen), cheese mochi (200 yen), grilled squid (180 yen), edamame (250 yen), churros (300 yen), chicken meatballs (180 yen). There were so many options but I wasn't really drawn to anything, so I just got soft serve ice cream and vinegar ice cream. The vinegar ice cream was surprisingly good. Oh well, the bath is the main event anyway. I guess I'll have to start shoveling snow tomorrow. (T_T)

Sapporo - Furuyama Reservoir - Oiwake Shika Park - Chitose Long Ride, staying overnight at Chitose Aoba Park Campground. This campground is a great choice with well-maintained trees, reasonable prices, and no noisy families. It may be a bit noisy from the highway, but overall it's a good spot. You can easily walk to the bustling area of Chitose for food and bathing. The campground is a bit far from the parking lot, but perfect for camping with bicycles. It's not crowded even on weekends, so you can enjoy a relaxing time. The self-service food ticket system is convenient, and the experienced staff cook delicious meals at a very affordable price. After taking a bath and drinking beer, you can enjoy snacks like edamame and cheap ramen. This campground is highly recommended for camping cyclists.

On the way to Chitose Interchange, there is a rest area and light meal corner inside Chitose Noyu. There used to be a public bath in Mukoyodai, but unfortunately it closed down, so now I have to take a bus to get here, which is inconvenient. Please bring back a public bath to Mukoyodai! That being said, I went in with my mother when I visited my hometown. It was a Sunday, so there were many families with children, including a few boys. I was a little annoyed. There was a boy around the third grade of elementary school who said, "What's wrong with a boy going into the women's bath?" After quickly getting out, I had a beer first. I thought about getting some snacks too, but I only had a small amount of change on me, so I gave up. There used to be snack sets, vegetables, and bologna bread for sale, but now it's completely changed. They have a variety of soft serve ice cream flavors.

This is a restaurant review for the dining area at the super sento "Chitose Noyu" in Chitose. I visited this place after checking out the dining area at the Chitose Inter Golf Club on a previous visit. I arrived a bit before opening time and found the automatic door not working. I entered through the adjacent entrance and left my shoes in the shoe box. The restaurant had limited menu options, but the tonkatsu set was delicious and crispy. The kalbi don was also tasty with a flavorful sauce. The miso soup was good too. Although I wanted an iced coffee, they only had hot coffee available. After the meal, I tried the mini soft serve which was served in a cute dish with a spoon. The restaurant was warm and cozy, but there weren't many customers dining at the time. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.
