This is in Chuocho, Muroran. The restaurant for today is Shanimuni. It is located a little above the famous Daio Honpo, known for its curry ramen, about a 7-minute walk from Muroran Station. On this day, my partner and I were feeling hungry late at night and decided to have dinner, so we headed to this restaurant that stays open late. When it comes to restaurants in Chuocho, the options are limited as they close early. The restaurant has three 4-person tables and a counter at the back. We visited at 10:30 PM and there were 2 customers already there, with no one else coming in later. Since I had already eaten, I opted for something light. I had a half-and-half Super Dry beer, which was around 500 yen. It was delicious! I also ordered the "Chokotto Mori" for 700 yen, which was a variety of small dishes, perfect for drinking snacks. It came with a generous serving of tempura vegetables, tamagoyaki, simmered chicken wings and daikon, and a tomato and wakame vinegar dish. The tempura vegetables were tasty, especially the zucchini and pumpkin. The tamagoyaki was a bit flat for my liking. The simmered chicken wings and daikon were tender and flavorful, and the tomato and wakame vinegar dish was refreshing. My partner ordered the "Teppan Doropori Tan" for 900 yen, which was a large portion. I was full, so I couldn't help much with finishing it, but my partner managed to eat it all. They also had Earl Grey tea for 650 yen. There is a smoking room with a tent-like vinyl cover, giving it a homemade feel. Overall, it's nice to have a place open late in Chuocho, but if you're looking to eat earlier, there are better options available. Likewise, if you're looking for a place to drink late at night, there are better options as well. Thanks for the meal!

The Doroportan for 1050 yen is delicious. I also tried the curry portan! The noodles are thick and amazing‼️ I want to try the curry and the amazing portan as well.

Located a little up the mountainside from Aji no Daiou in Chuocho, Muroran City, Hokkaido (a few houses away). The interior of the restaurant is very stylish. However, on this day, I sat at the counter. Despite the stylish atmosphere, there was a somewhat disappointing feeling. Why is that? Probably because of the cluttered view from the counter. The counter had a makeshift wooden shelf with glasses placed haphazardly on it. It's a shame that the counter couldn't fully match the stylishness of the rest of the restaurant. It's still a new establishment, so there is great potential for improvement in the future. As for the daily plate, the portion size was small. It seemed more on the healthy and female-friendly side. You can choose between red or white wine, a small beer, or coffee as part of the service. The price of 880 yen may include the "service" drink as well. The yogurt seemed to be a sticky and high-viscosity Caspian Sea yogurt, which I enjoyed as I love the slimy texture of Caspian Sea yogurt. Although I may have written some slightly negative points, I thought it was a very nice place with a good atmosphere and delicious food. They also have a wide variety of beers, wines, and sake. I look forward to going back to try the curry hamburger or stewed hamburger.

The downside was that the coffee taste was not great. It takes time to prepare the dishes. It opened next to the famous curry ramen restaurant "Aji no Daiou Rumoi Honten". It opened at the end of March 2013, and I have been there twice. The interior is L-shaped with about four four-person tables at the entrance. There is a counter and two two-person tables at the back. This restaurant is particular about "rice". They have a contract with a long-established rice shop in the city and provide rice labeled as "today's rice". Rumoi is a city known for poor customer service. Despite that, I give high praise to Shanimuni. They actively provide explanations about the menu and dishes, and generously offer refills and samples. You can enjoy your meal comfortably. As for the food, the daily lunch plate is a generous portion aimed at women. The rice is "Gobuzuki rice", which is five-part milled brown rice, and refills are free. On this day, they offered a refill of today's rice (fluffy). The vegetable curry is served in a single-person hot pot, piping hot. It was spicy and I remember there was no meat in it. The set drink is coffee, and in the evening, you can choose between beer or wine in a small glass. I asked for wine at lunchtime, which they kindly accommodated. This restaurant's flexible service is a plus. You can also just have coffee at the counter, and it can be used as a cafe as well. They also offer simmered hamburg steak dishes (starting from 880 yen) and pasta (starting from the 600 yen range). They are available at any time. Additionally, you can take out vegetable curry, simmered hamburg steak, curry hamburg steak, coffee, and coffee beans. They are open until 25:00 for a relaxed dining experience in Rumoi. I recommend Shanimuni to those who want to enjoy a pleasant meal in Rumoi.
