I ordered a regular size gyudon with extra sauce and plenty of green onions. When I was younger, I didn't appreciate the goodness of onions and would think I didn't need them in my gyudon. But as I've gotten older, I've come to understand the deliciousness and importance of onions in gyudon. Now, I'm even okay with less meat and extra onions. It was so satisfying. Thank you very much.

I'm feeling down because of the coronavirus, so I ate garlic to boost my energy! Garlic fire is my favorite, I added extra onions to make it even better, but I'm not sure if it worked haha. It was crowded during lunchtime as usual, but the taste was great as always. Yummy!

I revisited a restaurant today because I was craving more than just soba noodles. Since my wife is not home today, I decided to get some snacks to go along with my drinks. I went to the Sukiya restaurant located on Route 12 in Iwamizawa. They have a drive-thru option, but I prefer to park and get takeout. I felt like having some eel, so I ordered that along with a beef dish. The service was quick, just like at Kamadaya. After paying and receiving my food, I headed back home. I enjoyed the eel and beef dishes as my snacks with drinks. It had been a while since I had eel, but the one from Sukiya was satisfying enough. The beef dish had a stronger flavor compared to Yoshinoya, but it was perfect as a snack. It's nice to have these once in a while. I remember going to Sukiya in Fukuoka before, and it was delicious too! Thank you for the meal!

I checked out of the hotel and then came to this shop nearby. I ordered the salmon breakfast for 390 yen from the breakfast menu. It came with raw egg, potato salad, and miso soup. The main salmon dish was more like... I enjoyed the egg over rice after a long time. The miso soup had seaweed, fried tofu, and green onions in it, with a strong dashi flavor. I kept missing the timing at every destination I went to, and when I finally thought about having lunch, there was no restaurant in sight. I found a Sukiya and jumped in, finally having lunch after 3 PM. I'm exhausted. It's not over yet, but the beef bowl set and clam soup cost 540 yen. It was huge and delicious. On November 23, I went to pick up my wife again. We discussed what to do for dinner, and as usual, I said, "Anything is fine. Let's buy something you like on the way home." To my surprise, she suggested getting takeout beef bowls from Yoshinoya. I hesitated since we had it for breakfast, so I suggested going to Sukiya instead. She agreed, and we ended up getting beef bowls and fried chicken from Sukiya. My wife chose curry with rice. When we got home, we enjoyed the meal. The beef bowl was good, but I personally prefer Yoshinoya's. The fried chicken was surprisingly delicious, with a soft and moist coating. My wife seemed to enjoy her curry, which she said was sweet. Although it was a cheap dinner, it was quite satisfying. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

After several years, I went to Sukiya for a drive-thru. Although I thought sukiyaki would be nice, it seems that Sukiya only offers curry and gyudon for drive-thru. I wish they would remember their main business. But then I saw they had pork bowl. The sweet sauce on the Obihiro pork bowl is delicious. I ordered the large size and headed home. When I opened it, I was surprised. It wasn't a pork bowl, but a pork and beef bowl. The pork had a refreshing taste, which was nice. The large size had plenty of rice. The amount of meat was just right for the rice. Looking back, when I received it at the store, it felt heavy. The sauce soaked into the rice just enough, not too much or too little. It was well-balanced. It was delicious.
