I didn't know about this shop at all, but it seems to have been operating for quite some time. It's located in a back alley off Minami Hiragishi Station. Looking at the showcase, there are various cakes and puddings lined up, all looking delicious. Since it was my first time trying this shop, I decided to judge their skills based on their whipped cream, so I bought a strawberry shortcake.
- Strawberry Shortcake
Honestly, it was a type of cake that I haven't eaten much of in recent years. First of all, the sponge cake's texture is coarse. I think they intentionally made it coarse, giving it a unique texture. Overall, it's very oily. It feels like there's a lot of butter and cream fat. The cream's sweetness is mild, but it was too oily for me to finish one on my own. It felt like eating a buttercream cake from 40 years ago. The strawberries were sweet and good though.
- Strawberry and Pistachio Mont Blanc
Inside the white chocolate-flavored Mont Blanc cream, there's pistachio cream. This one also has mild sweetness but is surprisingly oily. It's so oily that it made me laugh. It was too oily for my taste. It has been a while since I've had such an oily cake. But now that I think about it, I remember having cakes this oily when I was a child. So there must be a demand for it. If you like oily cakes, give it a try.
*By the way, the baked goods were simply delicious. I didn't feel the oiliness in them.

I happened to come across this cake shop while walking through a back alley instead of the main street on my way to a soup curry restaurant from Minamihiranishi Station. Despite having eaten cake just 3 days ago, I felt it was fate and decided to enter. It was around 6:30 PM. The cake selection was limited, probably because the popular ones were already sold out. I bought 3 fresh cakes and 2 baked goods.
1. Strawberry Shortcake: The sweetness of the cream was moderate, which I personally like. The sponge was a bit coarse, more on the fluffy side. The small strawberries on top were sweet and tasty. However, the high fat content of the cream may be perceived as either "rich" or "oily" depending on personal preference.
2. Strawberry and Pistachio Milky Mont Blanc: A creamy center surrounded by white chocolate-flavored cream, with pistachio cream on top of an almond base. The use of crispy fried wonton-like pastry instead of tart was interesting. The cream was also quite "rich".
3. Deer's Butter Sandwich: Extremely thick, about 2.4 times thicker than a famous butter sandwich. Almost like a bite of pure buttercream with plenty of raisins, which could be a plus for raisin lovers.
I forgot to take photos before eating, and I was too full to try the baked goods, so I will save them for another day. These cakes had a sense of heaviness that I haven't experienced in a while. I am curious about the custard, so I want to try the cream puff next time.

I visited on a regular day. This Western confectionery shop is run by a pastry chef who honed their skills at "Le Cordon Bleu" in Kiyota, opened in 2018. It is located in a residential area, with a red door as a landmark. There were plenty of baked goods and cakes available, with a lot of pistachio-based cakes. There is no parking lot. What I had this time was: - Butter Sand with Rum Raisin x2 for 400 yen each - Pistachio for 480 yen. The Butter Sand is a crispy cookie with rich rum raisin butter sandwiched in between, making you feel happy with just one bite. The Pistachio cake has a rich pistachio flavor that spreads out, not too sweet, and irresistible for pistachio lovers. You could eat as many as you want (laughs). I gave one Butter Sand as a souvenir to my family, and they were also delighted. Thank you for the meal.

Located in a residential area near the Namboku Line Minami Hiragishi Station in Sapporo, this cozy cake and pastry shop exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. The small and charming exterior is a delight to behold. It's a place where you can take your time choosing your favorite cake, with the staff patiently waiting for you. It's a joy to be able to relax and enjoy the process. Once you've made your choice, you can head to the Tenjin-yama Park to indulge in your cake. Whether it's the strawberry tart or pistachio cake, they all taste equally delicious with their sweet cream that warms your heart. The strawberries are especially tasty. I will definitely be returning to this kind and delicious cake shop. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Fluffy truffle cream whipped to perfection and coated with a special ganache. An airy dessert that still delivers a rich chocolate flavor. A milky pistachio mousse wrapped in condensed milk cream, with strawberries inside for a luxurious cake. The strawberry Mont Blanc looked so cute and intriguing. I'll definitely try that next time! Thank you for the delicious meal!

On March 14, 2019, I visited the confectionery shop Deer in Toyohira-ku, Sapporo City, Hokkaido, at 3-15-3-2S-ing1st1F, for the second round of White Day gifts. After purchasing an apple pie at the previous shop, I remembered that I still had someone else to give a gift to, so I visited Deer. There is a cute sign at the entrance with a red door. On this day, I purchased Raspberry Lychee for 432 yen, a creamy pudding for 302 yen, Deer's pumpkin roll for 389 yen, Miserable for 432 yen, fresh chocolate for 432 yen, and a pistachio cake (price forgotten). I tried the creamy pudding, which was a bit sweet but delicious. I would like to try another cake next time. Thank you for the delicious treats.

This is a place in Toyohira-ku, located on Nakakoji in Hiragishi 3-jo 15-chome. It may be difficult to explain the location, so please check the map on Tabelog for more details. I found a new shop that caught my interest a few months ago when looking at Tabelog's new shop information, so I decided to visit the shop. After confirming the location on Tabelog's map, I arrived at the shop and went inside to check out the products. The cream puffs seemed to be popular and were selling out, so I decided to purchase the "Rich Cream Puff" and the "Creamy Pudding." Back at home, I first tried the "Rich Cream Puff." The cream inside looked rich and yellow, and there was quite a lot of it. The puff wasn't very crispy, possibly due to the time gap, but the cream was rich and had a strong vanilla scent, with a pleasant level of sweetness. Next, I tried the "Creamy Pudding," which had a rich and creamy texture, and I personally enjoyed the taste. Mixing in the caramel at the bottom of the jar gave it a slightly more mature flavor. This small Western confectionery shop in an inconspicuous location in Naka-dori on the main island may become a trendy hidden gem for Western sweets.

Wow!! This is so rich and flavorful! It's located in a hard-to-find place, but I have a feeling it will definitely become a popular spot in the future! I've eaten many sweet, smooth, and soft treats before, but this one is delicious! It has a good elasticity, rich and moist texture, and is packed with cocoa flavor. The sweetness is just right, not too much but just enough... hmm! I feel so happy! Thank you for the meal o(≧▽≦)o I wonder what I should try next... Next time, I'll make sure to include photos! I'm sorry.

I happened to come across this place when I searched on Google and decided to give it a try. I bought some shortcake and a few other items to take home. The whipped cream was not too sweet, had a good mouthfeel, and had strawberries in the middle with strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries on top. The balanced acidity of the fruits paired well with the whipped cream. The sponge cake could have been a bit more moist to make it perfect! The glaze added a nice shine, but I thought it could be a bit less white. Next time, I would like to try their cheesecake. Thank you for the meal.

When I bought a Mont Blanc and tried to eat it at home, it was frozen (°д°). I've never experienced buying a cake and finding it frozen before! It makes me wonder if they got lazy because business was slow... I thought it was delicious, but now I'm sad. I want to buy it again and try it, but I'm worried that maybe freezing the whipped cream is a technique they use. I was really surprised by that... If anyone has more information, I would appreciate it. Thank you for the meal.

I received some cookies. My husband got them for Valentine's Day. It's time for the taste tester to step in. There are various types and they all look delicious. Hyena-chan noticed them and ended up sharing with my daughter. No sharing with the person who received them. Let's dig in.
Chocolate chip cookie: "Dearman" bite-sized cookies with plenty of chocolate chips, crispy texture.
Strawberry cookie: "Rolling" indeed, they look round but have a soft texture with a subtle sweet and sour taste. My favorite among the ones I tried.
Big cookie: "Round cookie" as the name suggests, a coffee-flavored cookie for adults, a nice choice for a palate cleanser.
Bear-shaped cookie: "Butter cookie" a classic and universally loved deliciousness. Despite the person who brought them having a broken right foot, it's a perfect little gift.
I got to know a good store. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I decided to do a solo drive to eat and drive, and I went to this shop that I had been curious about for a while to get their cream puffs! Well, I hesitated a bit because it's located in a residential area...! >.< I was wondering if I could turn here! So, I followed the car in front of me and managed to arrive after wandering around the main street several times. It seemed like it would be evening by the time I got there, so I had called ahead to reserve the cream puffs, but there were still quite a few left in the store, including cakes and baked goods. It was a day with the number 10, so I was able to buy the cream puffs a bit cheaper. Lucky me! The cream puff (normally 194 yen) had a generous amount of vanilla bean custard cream with a firm choux pastry. The choux pastry was so firm that it couldn't be scooped, but when I tried it, it wasn't too sweet, and I felt like I could easily eat 2-3 of them. The choux pastry was pre-filled, but even in the evening, it was crispy and I really enjoyed the cream puff. It was slightly smaller in size compared to Beard Papa's, but considering the price and quantity, I think the cost performance is good. Even at the regular price, it's a cream puff I would want to buy again!
