The cold zaru ramen is 700 yen. It's still cheap as always. I always run out of dipping sauce, so I asked for extra beforehand, but it was still just enough. The taste is refreshing without much richness. The familiar chicken chashu is delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I went to this place looking for a lunch set with good cost-performance ratio and a wide variety of items, but today I found out that the daily special set is taking a break for a while. It is expected to resume in September (though not confirmed). Disappointing. However, in its place, they introduced three types of cold ramen. I ordered the clam soup with salted rice malt and it was delicious as expected. This ramen here goes beyond what you would expect from a casual izakaya. Next time, I'll try the dried bonito tsukemen.

One-coin ramen, the final episode was shrimp miso flavor. The main dish of the set meal was beef stew, so I changed the ramen in the set meal to shrimp miso flavor. There was a lot of shrimp miso orders from people around me. The guy next to me ordered a large serving. It was delicious as expected, so I have to go back before it ends.

I thought it would be crowded since it's 12:30, but I was able to get in quite easily. This is the third installment of the anniversary special menu, priced at 550 yen. It really delivers on the clam essence. It would be perfect to eat when hungover. Unfortunately, it's only available until the day after tomorrow. Next week, they will introduce the final installment, "shrimp miso."

A restaurant with great value for lunch. One bowl of ramen costs 550 yen. The daily special set meal comes with a variety of side dishes and a mini ramen instead of miso soup. This time I had the ramen. They change the type of ramen every two weeks for their anniversary, starting with beef bone, then clam soup, and next will be shrimp miso.

It's an annual tradition. Today, I had beef bone ramen. Instead of my amateur explanation, I think it's better to transcribe the description from the restaurant: "A slowly simmered beef bone clear soup. The slightly sweet soy sauce base pairs well with the low-water straight noodles. Enjoy a luxurious and happy bowl with roast beef as the highlight." I see. The meaning of "roast beef as the highlight" may be a bit unclear due to my lack of sophistication. Anyway, it's a light and elegant ramen. Above all, the cost performance is overwhelming. Thank you for the meal. I'm looking forward to the clam broth soba coming next month.

Vegetable and meat skewers... The avocado was rich and creamy, the okra, quail eggs, cheese, shiso leaves, and green onions were all huge and juicy, and as always, delicious! Octopus fritters... I forgot to take a picture, but they were delicious. Shrimp mayo and thickly sliced mackerel were also delicious... The beef cutlet was tender and tasty, but the sauce was interesting with Worcestershire sauce and balsamic vinegar mixed in. It was smooth, thick, and delicious. It was my birthday, so they gave us a complimentary cup parfait. This place has private rooms so you can relax and enjoy your meal without worrying about your surroundings.

It's delicious and I often use it because I can enter a private room. There was corn tempura on the seasonal menu, so I ordered it and it was incredibly sweet and delicious. My friend who loves whiskey always enjoys drinking Taketsuru. I always order too much and feel like my stomach is about to burst when I leave, but I am very satisfied.

Arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 pm on the day of Obon. Reserved in advance for 2 people. The restaurant was mostly full. Located on the B1F of a building along the main street in front of the station. Not directly connected to Chikaho, but very close to exit 9. The interior has a luxurious feel with white wood as the main theme. There were 2 staff members in the hall and 3 in the kitchen, visible from the counter. The atmosphere felt very artisan-like, with a person holding a knife. Opted for the '120-minute all-you-can-drink (including beer and local sake)' (1850 yen → 1700 yen) deal. You need to order at least 3 food items per person, which is quite a lot (laughs). The draft beer was Sapporo Classic. There was also a good selection of local sake and shochu. The appetizer was a homemade mixture of okara and edamame. The food we ordered included: - Assorted sashimi "Iki" (5 kinds) (1950 yen) - Fukuoka Gyoza (320 yen) - Scallop sashimi (750 yen) - Smoked herring and cream cheese (660 yen) - Chilled tomato (650 yen) - Edamame with wasabi (480 yen) The sashimi was impressive, especially the fatty tuna and salmon. The gyoza was flavorful with a hint of garlic. The scallop sashimi was good, but not as impressive as the assorted sashimi. The smoked herring and cream cheese were well-balanced. The chilled tomato was sweet and refreshing. The edamame with wasabi had a nice aroma without being too spicy. Overall, the food was satisfying and the quality was top-notch. The total bill came to around 5000 yen per person. Will definitely come back again!

Sliding in on a Friday night just before closing time. A one and a half hour showdown. A Japanese bar with Hokkaido ingredients. Tomatoes, corn, beef... all delicious, each with a hint of sweetness. Sweetness equals flavor. Private booth layout perfect for dates or work discussions. Great location, just 2 minutes from the clock tower.

Recently I tried the heavy-use Japanese bar, Hareruya, for lunch. The set with niboshi ramen and a rice bowl is 850 yen, which is a good deal. Besides the counter, there are private rooms available, which is reassuring in these times. It's great that they have a variety of menu combinations. They only accept cash for lunch. Smoking is allowed.

The meals on the course were delicious and satisfying. The restaurant was clean and nice, but it didn't have any particular standout features. They offer two one-coin lunch options even without a lunch pass: Chinese noodles and a parent-child rice bowl with plenty of eggs. Smoking is allowed in private rooms. It was delicious!

We used this restaurant with 4 family members. We were looking for a place near Sapporo Station with private rooms and all-you-can-drink option, so we visited this place for the first time. Although it was a private room, it wasn't completely private, so it was quite lively. We ordered various dishes, but the portions were small for 4 people and the prices were quite high. It seemed more suitable for couples or small groups of 2-3 people. We ordered two types of meat (sagari and lamb) on a salt plate, but as shown in the photo, the portions were small and it was quite expensive. Among the dishes we ordered, the smoked mackerel was unanimously delicious, and we ordered more of that. Thank you for the meal.

In the basement of Shikishima Building, there is a line of shops that caught my attention. I realized they are cheap. Today, I had a rich and flavorful dried sardine soy sauce ramen. But they also offer parent and child rice bowl for only 500 yen! Made with sardine and flying fish broth, the dark gray soup is indeed rich and delicious.

It's been a while since I had lunch here. Should I go for the parent-child bowl or the seafood donburi? Seafood! I had to wait a bit, and the girl next to me also ordered the seafood donburi at the same time as me. Wow! But wait, something seems off... Today's seafood donburi had bonito tataki, white fish, octopus, avocado, and egg. No tuna? Tataki... honestly, a bit disappointed. Normally I would finish it easily but... I managed to finish it. Finally, the state of emergency in Hokkaido has ended, and it was time for a long-awaited drinking party. Of course, the first gathering had to be with close friends, right? We arrived at the restaurant well before our reservation time, but we didn't want to bother the staff, so we killed time until the last minute. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and having semi-private booths is important in this day and age. It had been so long since we last met, so we were both in high spirits. The beer tasted so different from what we have at home, with delicious foam. We had already decided what we wanted to eat by looking at the menu online in the morning, so we placed our order quickly. We had chicken and vegetable skewers, potato salad, and horse meat yukhoe, which were all must-try items. The smoked flavor in the potato salad was amazing, and the tender texture of the chicken skewers was irresistible. The tomato cheese wrap was reliably tasty, and the avocado wrap had a wonderful creamy texture, although it could have been a bit hotter. The assorted side dishes were probably meant for one person, but we shared them between the two of us, enjoying the variety of flavors. We chatted and moved from beer to sake. We then ordered the horse meat yukhoe, which was the highlight of the meal. We waited and waited, but it didn't arrive. We tried to order more drinks, but they never came. Even after the all-you-can-drink time had ended, the dish still hadn't arrived. We inquired about it, and finally, it came. The staff apologized for the delay and offered us a complimentary drink. I chose sake, which paired perfectly with the rich and crispy horse meat yukhoe. Cheers! After this, we headed to a karaoke bar for the second round, not knowing when we had last been to one. It was time to have more fun! Cheers to a great night!

I recently went to an izakaya and was impressed by the spacious private rooms and delicious food. The grilled squid was much larger than I expected. The grilled beef sagari on a hot stone plate with vegetables and meat skewers were also amazing. The avocado, cherry tomatoes, and green onion were surprisingly big. The shrimp mayo fried potatoes were crispy and the cheese potato cakes were fluffy. The salad was colorful and fresh.

My daughter's esthetic treatment is over, so we walked to Chikaho and searched for a place to have lunch. My daughter said she wanted to eat Japanese food, so we targeted an izakaya that was open for lunch. Google Maps directed us to the location inside Chikaho, but we couldn't find it around. We took the nearby elevator to the ground level and found the Shikishima Kita Ichijo Building at the address. We finally made our way to the basement of this building! It felt like a hidden gem in a somewhat upscale setting, but there were affordable lunch menus at the entrance, which was reassuring. We were led to a semi-private room in the back with tables for two and four people. There was already a solo guest at the four-person table, so we were seated at the two-person table, which felt a bit cramped. The lunch menu was reasonable, with options like ramen and oyakodon available for just one coin! There was also a chawan curry and the option to customize a half-sized ramen set. The daily set meal looked appealing, but I decided against it as I suspected the sashimi might be tuna from the photos. If you like sashimi, the daily set meal seems like a good choice. My daughter had the creamy oyakodon, and I had the chicken karaage and ramen set customized with chawan curry. The service was prompt, and when the dishes arrived, I felt like I might have ordered too much, especially with the chawan curry being quite large. The ramen had a gentle soup base and was delicious. Although I thought the regular size might have been better, the flavorful chicken karaage was a highlight. I've had zangi and karaage in Sapporo before, but this karaage was the best I've ever had. The oyakodon had a nice dashi flavor and was also tasty. The rice portions were generous, and both my daughter and I left some rice uneaten. I apologize for that and will remember to ask for less rice next time. Thank you for the meal.

The saltiness is mild, but when you eat the noodles, it's not so noticeable. However, when you drink the soup, the shrimp flavor really comes through. Limited summer menu. Only available until 8/31. Hurried to visit. Cold clam salt ramen for 700 yen. It's well chilled. The soup is refreshing. It makes you want to gulp it down. The noodles have a nice chewy texture. The chicken chashu adds an extra refreshing touch. Wish I had known about it sooner, I would have tried all the varieties. Hopefully they'll do it again next year?
