There's a cake shop on the memo, so I'll go check it out. It's the Fruit Factory. It's inside the facility, and it's my first time here! Well, in the end, the outskirts are not easy to target, so places like Kiyota Ward, Atsubetsu Ward, and Teine Ward don't usually have stock. Minami Ward is the same. There are quite a few shops in this facility, so it looks like it will be enjoyable. I was planning to spend about 15 minutes here, but ended up staying for 45 minutes. The last stop was the Fruit Cake Factory. Yome-san loves their fruit tart, but I didn't have the budget for it, so I got three cream puffs instead. I should have just bought one tart and another one for Baba-sama. I regret it a little. The girl was nice, the crust was soft, no complaints there. The cream is probably custard, but isn't there also whipped cream mixed in? It's a delicious cream. The volume is amazing, it's worrying.

I forgot to take a photo of the showcase, but there were so many dazzling and attractive desserts. I had a pear and strawberry tart with ice coffee, the pear aroma and texture were amazing. The tart was excellent. My daughter had a mixed fruit tart and pineapple juice, she enjoyed it wholeheartedly. My wife had a superb crème brûlée, and she exchanged it with my pear tart halfway through, enjoying it with plenty of cream. It was a satisfying dining experience. Thank you.

Today at 15:15 on September 21, I visited a restaurant for the first time. Tonight, I will have a happy birthday celebration at home with my second son. It's my turn today, as my second son already had his birthday cake on his actual birthday. Since I'm in my 40s, I may not be as lively, but we decided to have a joint birthday celebration with the main reason being to eat Shine Muscat cake, which my second son loves. We made a reservation in advance and picked up a Shine Muscat Fresh Fruit Tart. It's been a while since I had one, and it was delicious. I looked it up and found out that it is operated by Sanpo Trading Co., Ltd., a company based in Sapporo. I hope local businesses like this continue to do well.

I couldn't resist peeking at the cakes lined up in the showcase. It must be my destiny as a cake lover... I ordered Tiramisu cake and an iced cafe latte. For some reason, they were no longer serving iced coffee. Why? The Tiramisu cake had lots of Tiramisu powder on top, making me happy. This is the perfect little luxury for a mid-afternoon treat. Thank you for the meal. Since they have the word "Fruit Cake" in their name, I'll try a fruit cake next time.

I had a meeting in Oyachi and stopped by the Fruit Cake Factory Oyachi store on the way back. It's located on the 1st floor of CAPO Oyachi, directly connected to Oyachi subway station. There are 9 stores in Sapporo, and this was my first visit. They are famous for their fruit tarts, but this time I bought the "Fresh Caramel Pudding (140 yen)", "Creamy Pudding (140 yen)", and "Cream Puff (180 yen)". The puddings were not firm, but creamy and smooth, both delicious. The cream puff was also a satisfying treat.

I went to Ootani with a friend. We wanted something sweet, so we went to this shop. There were only takeout customers, so it was easy to choose. My friend got pineapple juice and some kind of chestnut cake, while I got a chocolate cake and iced coffee. When I go to the capital, Cozy Corner's cakes are big and delicious, but the cakes here, like the tarts, can compete. I thought the chocolate cake would be moist, but unfortunately it felt a bit dry. However, the taste and service are good.

Around Ooyachi Station, I was feeling tired from work and decided to take a short break before heading home. I was looking for something sweet and came across the Fruit Cake Factory's cream puff with coffee for 360 yen, which seemed like a good deal. I sat in the empty eat-in corner and waited. When the staff called me, I started to eat. First, the coffee was very weak, almost like American Airlines coffee. Not good! The cream puff, on the other hand, was rich and filled with cream. The coffee flavor was a bit overshadowed, but I had already started drinking it. The puff was crispy and slightly firm, which was nice. The coffee was consistently weak no matter how many sips I took. Overall, I felt satisfied and decided to head back to work. Thank you for the meal!

Fruit Cake Factory originated in Sapporo and is a unique shop found only in Sapporo with 11 stores in the city. Their fruit tart is a bit pricey, but their whole cheesecake is only 600 yen and often on discount, making it a shop that combines a sense of luxury and affordability. They are very particular about using strawberries in their strawberry tart, and it always tastes delicious. The chocolate cake is very sweet, but it's a great treat every now and then. Their cheesecake is cost-effective and satisfies those who like souffle-style cheesecakes. They also offer a raisin-free option for those who dislike raisins. I enjoy their cakes about once a month, and I always end up eating them without taking photos, so I decided to take a picture of the box this time.

It was Double Cake Set Day (including a drink for 500 yen), so I chose my favorite two cakes with apple juice. I also had a cream puff which was cheap.

Basically, I don't usually choose tarts when it comes to Western sweets, but I decided to try one this time because I had some free time and was craving something sweet. Although there is seating available, all the other customers were getting their orders to go. I got a strawberry and white chocolate tart as part of a cake and drink set for 550 yen. It was a strawberry cake fair, so most of the tarts were strawberry-based. The tart wasn't too sweet and I finished it quickly. The atmosphere wasn't the best, but the taste was decent. However, they don't have as many options as the ESTA or main store, which was a downside. Disappointing.

Continuing from the second Monday of August... After having ramen for lunch, I went shopping for tonight's dinner at the Capo Oyachi store in Toko. Since my son, who is visiting, was with me, we decided to treat ourselves to something sweet. We stopped in front of the Fruit Cake Factory Oyachi store and decided to try their premium soft serve ice cream called "Cremia Soft" for 500 yen. Despite the high price, we were intrigued by the elegant appearance of the ice cream. When we tried it, we were amazed by its rich and creamy flavor. The ice cream was made with 25% cream and 12.5% milk fat, giving it a luxurious texture. The cone was made with a unique Langue de Chat cookie, adding to the overall deliciousness. The ice cream was a special creation by NISSEI, a soft serve specialist, and we were impressed by the quality and taste.

The cake set is definitely a great deal! You can get 1 piece of cake and a drink for 520 yen!! I chose a 590 yen cake and ordered coffee, so it ended up being cheaper than just buying the cake alone with a drink included! There are many different types of cakes starting from 390 yen, all of them look beautiful and delicious, making it hard to choose. It would be even better if the seating area was more sophisticated.

Today, I stopped by on my way back from my daughter's appointment. It was in the evening, so there wasn't much left, but I couldn't resist when I saw the sign for a time sale (laughs). First, I got two of my favorite strawberry tarts, then a sweet cheesecake! Finally, three apple pie custards (laughs). Fruit Cake Factory is really delicious! I enjoyed all of them! The strawberry tart disappeared before I could take a picture (laughs). When my daughter mentioned that she wanted a cake from Fruit Cake Factory for her birthday, I casually reserved a whole strawberry tart. Thank you for the delicious food.

On the fourth Sunday of April, I decided to treat myself to some sweets after refraining from indulging in them for a while. I visited the Fruit Cake Factory and picked up the "Tochiotome and Berry Shortcake" as a snack. The cake was soft and fluffy, with a delicious strawberry cream flavor and fresh strawberries and raspberries on top. The combination of sweet cream and slightly tart fruit created a nice contrast, although the tartness was a bit strong for my taste. Overall, the cake was enjoyable, but the tartness may not be for everyone. It pairs well with tea rather than coffee.

At the Ootachi store, I always stop by whenever I go home and buy the "Cheesecake with Raisins for 600 yen" for my parents, who are always happy when I bring them this cheesecake. If I remember correctly, the last time I had cake was on Christmas, and it was unexpectedly a Secoma cake provided by my company. I don't really crave sweets that much, but since yesterday, I've been in the mood for cake. There are cake sets where the price may go up depending on the cake, and some come with an additional roll cake, but the regular cake set includes a drink for 520 yen and you can eat in a mysterious space. You can choose from about 10 types of cakes. For example, the "Shiranui and Panna Cotta Tart" (1 piece for 490 yen) comes with an iced coffee for 520 yen (tax included). The cake is topped with plenty of sweet Shiranui oranges, followed by panna cotta, pudding, and a firm crust. It's delicious! There are also magazines in the eat-in space, so you can relax. If you're just taking the cake home to eat, I highly recommend eating in at this place.

On the third Saturday of January. Today's snack was bought by my wife on her way home from shopping. Today, unusually, I am staying at home alone. On days off, I usually spend time with my wife, but today she is working and will stop by CAPO Oyachi store for shopping before coming home. As a snack, she bought this "Choux Cream" (140 yen tax included) from the Fruit Cake Factory. I had been curious about this Choux Cream at this store for a while. Although I have visited this Fruit Cake Factory before, I have never used this Oyachi store. My wife bought the Choux Cream, and I eagerly waited for it to be served. The Choux Cream was big and filled with rich custard cream. The combination of the crispy pastry and the creamy filling was delicious. It was probably the best Choux Cream I've had recently. It was so good that I couldn't help but enjoy it, despite my concerns about the calories. I seem to have become quite fond of sweets as I get older. It's a bit scary how I'm changing, but it's also interesting to discover a new side of myself. Overall, the Choux Cream was worth the price and definitely a repeat-worthy item. I will definitely have it again soon.

From the menu that day, I decided to go for the more expensive cake option, and ended up choosing the limited edition "Strawberry Milk Tart (individual price 490 yen)" and "Iced Cafe au Lait without whipped cream (set for 480 yen)" exclusive to the Ohtani store. I took a bite of the tart... the strawberry was vibrant! Wrapped in transparent jelly, the strawberry was accompanied by whipped cream, strawberry cream, and tart crust. As I savored it, I could feel a slight aging of the whipped cream and strawberry cream. Next, the Iced Cafe au Lait was a bit warm, perhaps due to the lack of ice. The balance between the coffee bitterness and milk & cream ratio was a bit off, making even someone like me who doesn't like sweet things want to add sugar next time. Overall, for 480 yen, getting a cake full of fruit and a drink was a good deal. Hmm, not sure about it though. Thank you for the meal.
