I visited the restaurant because there was a photo of Zangi posted before, but they have stopped serving Zangi. I ended up buying mountain vegetable tempura, which was quite ordinary.

Tom-chan was writing something, and I can't just pretend I don't know, right? By the way, isn't 4th Street closed for a festival? Don't close the road without my permission... I parked my car a little further away and walked there, and it was quite crowded. I was aiming for "corn," which costs 180 yen. But that's not enough, so I also bought some "zangi." I asked the lady, but she didn't even smile or say thank you. Tom-chan likes the lady, but I find her a bit cheeky... "I'll put the corn in a bag for you, but you have to take the zangi yourself," she said. I went back to check the items... Oh, it's not on a skewer? "Oh, it's different? Okay, then I'll return the money I received, so give me 530 yen." Do I have to return it once? It's just so... I want to write about it but I can't... The corn is small and delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness and saltiness. It's delicious when boiled in a big pot. It doesn't matter who made it. The customer service at these rural shops is generally not good. The zangi was made with chicken thigh meat, lightly seasoned, and very delicious. It made me drink more beer... Don't come back!!

Welcome! Located in a corner of the bustling downtown area of Abashiri City, this fruit shop is popular among the locals. The atmosphere is laid-back and the casual conversations are soothing. The main attraction is the variety of fruits lined up, alongside nostalgic dagashi and sweets. However, it's a bit strange to see "homemade deli" written in front of the shop. The homemade zangi (deep-fried chicken) is a large pack for only 300 yen, and even when reheated, it remains delicious and tender. It's packed with flavor thanks to the well-coated batter. Knowing that it was made by the owner makes it even more enjoyable. The face-to-face sales approach allows for conversations and learning about the ingredients, which adds to the overall pleasant experience. Thank you for the delicious meal!
