I happened to pass by and was drawn in by the samurai logo. They offer a variety of rice types and flavors to choose from. I tried the "Shrimp Salt" for ¥130 and the "Grilled Salt" for ¥140. The rice crackers had a strong crunchy texture when bitten into. The Shrimp Salt flavor was delicious with a strong shrimp taste.

[Point] - This is a senbei (rice cracker) shop located in Maruyama. It is within walking distance from Maruyama subway station. - The senbei cost around 100 yen each and come in various flavors, with stylish packaging that makes them great souvenirs. - Not only the flavors, but you can also enjoy the different tastes and textures of the rice used, such as "Yumepirika," "Fukkurinko," and "Oborozuki." [Content] I tried the three senbei in the photo, but I'm not sure about the exact flavors of two of them! The first one, made with Fukkurinko rice, had a moist and soy sauce-flavored taste that was quite delicious! The second one, which I think was made with Yumepirika rice and soy sauce, had a crispy texture! The third one was "Cinnamon Zaramame," made with Oborozuki rice, which had a rough texture. The strong cinnamon flavor with just the right amount of sweetness from the zaramame was interesting (and tasty)! Thank you for the meal!

I've been curious about this place for a while. Senbei in Maruyama?! And with samurai on it?! It may sound strange, but it actually goes well with wine. It also pairs nicely with bitter green tea or roasted green tea. It really makes me feel Japanese. This would be great as an appetizer as well. It was delicious senbei. Thank you for the meal.

When meeting someone, bringing a small gift is always appreciated and tends to be well-received. The customer service at this place was surprisingly good, unlike the typical service you might find in the backstreets of Harajuku (laughs). I might not need to go there for myself, but the taste and service were both great overall. Thank you for the meal. If I ever need a gift again, I might go back.

I visited Samurai Senbei and it was simple and stylish. They have a great selection of senbei and okaki that would make perfect souvenirs. They use various types of rice and offer a wide variety of flavors. Unfortunately, I couldn't take photos as it was not allowed. I bought a lot of souvenirs from this shop.

Stylish yet traditional rice crackers that exude essence. A remake of the long-standing rice crackers? The packaging and display are very modern and attractive. I visited when they first opened and choosing rice crackers for lunch is highly recommended as a gift for friends or those you are indebted to.

They were grilling senbei at the entrance. You can buy them one by one. I bought some okaki as a gift. There were plenty of samples to try, so you can enjoy various flavors.

I could tell that the rice dishes were carefully made from three different types of rice - Oboroduki, Fukkurinko, and Yumepirika. I didn't know that each one had a different texture. I enjoyed the flavors of salted lemon, truffle salt, and lemon syrup.

In April 2018, I found some special and lovely packaged rice crackers. I love rice crackers, so much so that I often turn most of the rice cakes from New Year's into rice crackers. I purchased a pack of three small bags of butter soy sauce flavored rice crackers. They were just regular butter soy sauce flavored rice crackers, but the packaging was so nice that they would be appreciated as a gift. Thank you for the meal!

When I went to Sapporo with my friends, we found a small shop. We put the address into the navigation system and arrived in front of the shop where there was parking space for just one car. Unfortunately, they were not making hand-baked snacks that day. The shop had a cozy interior with a small floor area. There were samples of snacks in small containers at the "okaki" corner, so you could try them before purchasing. You could choose from "Fukkurinko," "Yumepirika," and "Oborozuki," which are all made from Hokkaido rice. I personally like the firm-baked Yumepirika. The snacks are made from 100% Hokkaido sticky rice, and while the plain flavor is delicious, I recommend the "salmon" flavor. The "honey caramel" is also worth trying. They offer regional shipping, so I might order from them next time. Thank you for the delicious snacks.

Located in the Enzan area, just a short walk from the back street, this shop sells senbei (rice crackers). The building is not very noticeable, so you might not realize it until you get closer. I had been curious about it for a while, so I stopped by while exploring the Enzan area. The shop is small, but has a stylish atmosphere that doesn't feel like a typical senbei shop. There are various types of senbei available, and they also sell them individually, but since I couldn't decide on a recommendation, I purchased the "Senbei Set (small) for 1,296 yen." Senbei are priced at around 150-200 yen per piece, making them quite luxurious. There are different types of senbei with unique ingredients and flavors, so it was enjoyable to try them out, but I found the taste to be quite ordinary. They also sell rice crackers like okaki, so it might be a good choice for those who enjoy rice-based snacks.

I was lured by the service voucher that offers a bonus and decided to visit the store (lol). I often see this store being sold at Marui-san. It's a rice cracker shop!! The interior and exterior of the store are both stylish. Inside the store, there are senbei (rice crackers), butter senbei, and okaki. The okaki is around 500 yen. Most of the varieties were available for sampling. There are classic flavors as well as unique ones like red bean paste. I tried a few samples, and while the classic ones were delicious, the unique flavors were a bit complex (lol). I was planning to buy some okaki before visiting, but after sampling, I was satisfied and ended up buying one type of senbei and one type of butter senbei. - Samurai Butter Senbei (Pumpkin) (120 yen) A butter senbei with pumpkin seeds. Butter senbei is always delicious, and this one was no exception. - Samurai Senbei (Truffle Salt) (160 yen) Senbei ranges from 120 yen and comes in various flavors. I decided to go a bit luxurious and chose truffle salt! It was a delicious rice cracker (*'ω'*). But for my unsophisticated taste buds, regular salt would have been enough. - Okaki (Shrimp Mayonnaise) *Received as a bonus with the service voucher I got more than I expected with the bonus! I felt a bit guilty for only buying two pieces of rice crackers (lol). The flavor was rich and delicious. I may not personally buy these again as I am satisfied with rice crackers and okaki from the 100-yen store, but they would make a great gift for someone who doesn't like sweet treats. I wouldn't buy them for myself, but I would be really happy to receive them as a gift (*'ω'*).

During a holiday walk, I stumbled upon a hand-baked rice cracker shop with a striking logo that caught my attention. The shop was compact, with a space for baking the rice crackers right near the entrance. The walls were decorated with a variety of rice crackers displaying the logo prominently. The menu was extensive, with different flavors based on three types of rice: Yumepirika, Oborozuki, and Fukkurinko. I chose a few items at random and tried them out. The Nori-P (120 yen) had a nostalgic sweetness from the sugar coating and a mix of seaweed and rice cracker flavors. The Truffle Butter Oborozuki (160 yen) had a rich buttery taste with hints of truffle. The Ebi Shio Fukkurinko (130 yen) had a strong shrimp flavor and a slightly sweet rice base. The Ichimi Yumepirika (120 yen) had a good balance of the premium rice's flavor and the spiciness of Ichimi seasoning. As a bonus, I also got some Arare (complimentary) with a unique salty flavor. Overall, it was a delightful experience at this small rice cracker shop tucked away in Enzan, with a Tokyo-like system. Thank you for the delicious treats.

Samurai Senbei Ebei is a hand-baked rice cracker store. It is a part of the "Obanzai Osanbei Kamada" series of stores. "Kamada" is a nice Japanese food restaurant. The lunch prices are relatively reasonable. The store also sells rice crackers. They recently opened a specialty rice cracker store nearby called "Samurai Samurai Senbei Ebei." I visited with my usual companion for the first time. This store is located in the Maruyama Class commercial facility in the Chuo Ward area of Sapporo. The exact location can be confirmed on Tabelog. I visited around 1 pm on a weekday. There were no customers before or after me. Right next to the store is where they bake the rice crackers. They bake six at a time. They have about 10 types of hand-baked rice crackers and 10 types of rice crackers. They also had about 2 types of "karinto." You can also sample the rice crackers. I tried the "sweet shrimp" and "scallop" flavors. The "sweet shrimp" was a bit soggy, but the "scallop" was good. I bought two bags of the "scallop" rice crackers. I also bought the "Samurai Senbei Ebei" in "ichimi" and "herb" flavors. The "Samurai Rice Cracker" in "scallop" flavor is made with Hokkaido-grown glutinous rice. It has a crispy texture and a strong salty taste. It comes in small packets, which helps keep them from getting soggy. The price is 518 yen (including 8% consumption tax). The "Samurai Senbei Ebei" hand-baked rice crackers in "ichimi" flavor are thin and crispy. The spiciness of the ichimi pepper is nice. They use broken rice crackers for this product. The price is 130 yen (including 8% consumption tax). The "herb" flavor is also 130 yen (including 8% consumption tax). Both the rice crackers and the rice crackers have a good base flavor. The rice crackers are made using broken pieces, while the rice crackers include even the smallest pieces. This makes them more economical but less luxurious. It would be better to sell the broken rice crackers as outlet items. They are suitable for everyday use but not as gifts. I think they are reasonably priced. I look forward to improved product descriptions and service in the future. Next time, I might try the "karinto." Thank you for the delicious meal.

Simple post Visited in April 2015, "Okaki (Wasabi)", total of 518 yen A trendy senbei (rice cracker) shop located on a narrow street very close to Maruyama Class. It's right next to Monic. I came here with my best friend for a foodie adventure. We spotted it while exploring around Maruyama Class, and decided to come back later. There is no parking lot, but it's a shop I want to visit when coming to Maruyama Class. The shop is small and as soon as you enter, you can see senbei being baked right in front of you (which makes it very hot in summer). In the back, there are rows of okaki and senbei. We had a hard time buying because the lady in front of us was chatting with the staff, but the service was polite. The wasabi-flavored okaki had a nice spicy kick and just the right amount of salt. The packaging is also cute. The sign with a samurai in ukiyo-e style is the landmark! But it reminded me a little of the samurai manga currently in serialization with a jump.

I parked my car at the parking lot of the Hizuki restaurant and noticed something interesting. Before eating sushi, I decided to check out the restaurant which seemed to be selling senbei or other fun items. However, it was just before White Day and there were many people buying in bulk, so the checkout process was not moving at all. I decided to leave and went back after eating sushi. The restaurant was small and mostly filled with female customers. The payment was done individually using a tablet register, which was a bit slow. The shelves were almost empty, so I only bought Truffle Salt and Soy Sauce. The Truffle Salt had actual truffle on it, not just oil. The Soy Sauce was delicious and fragrant. Although the snacks were tasty, they were a bit expensive compared to regular senbei from the supermarket. I wonder if they are meant for gifts rather than personal consumption. They had different flavors like Zarama Lemon, Pepper, Garlic Pepper, Cinnamon, Rose, Grilled Salt, and Herb Salt. I also noticed a grilling station, so maybe they could grill the senbei for you. I wish I had the chance to compare the different flavors of senbei like "Fukkurinco," "Yumepirika," and "Oborozuki," but they were not available.
