The hot weather in Hokkaido continues, making me crave a cold beer. I went to the restaurant "Kuga" in Nakajima-cho, Muroran for the first time in a while. I enjoyed the all-you-can-drink course with Asahi Super Dry, sake, potato shochu on the rocks, mojito, and lime sour. The dishes were beautifully presented, with a sense of style. The appetizers consisted of three small dishes, followed by a seasonal limited edition sashimi platter, delicious sweet corn tempura, and shrimp chili okoge. Everything was so delicious and made me feel very happy!

I went to this restaurant based on a recommendation from a business partner. Although the ratings on Tabelog were low, I was intrigued by the Fire Tsubugai (laughs) ♥️ so I decided to try it. I also ordered the Sea Dragon Palace Salad and the three-point set of Wagyu hormone. Since I was dining alone, I couldn't get the all-you-can-drink option (requires 2 or more people) which was a bit disappointing (laughs). The appetizers were delicious - probably bacon pepper salad, simmered tsubugai, and potato salad with mentaiko. If they had offered all-you-can-drink, I could have stayed for 4 hours (laughs) (is that annoying?). The food was very reasonably priced and tasty. I recommend it ⭐⭐⭐

In February 2023, my first outdoor dining experience was at "Kuuga," a seafood charcoal grill restaurant in Nakajima-cho, Muroran City. The owner greeted me warmly with "Thank you for coming again this year," which made me feel grateful. As always, I enjoyed the appetizers before the meal, and the 2-hour all-you-can-drink option included delicious dishes like cod roe tempura, rolled omelette with broth, and three types of sausages. The food prepared by the master chef was consistently tasty, and the hospitality from the owner and staff was top-notch, making it a very satisfying dining experience.

In September 2022, in Nakajima-cho, Muroran City, at the seafood charcoal-grilled cuisine restaurant "Kuga," I always look forward to the appetizer before the meal! We enjoyed the 2-hour all-you-can-drink course and were excited to see the flame-roasted turban shell! We also had corn tempura (which was originally supposed to be finished according to the season, but the chef kindly made it for us), the delicious beef tongue miso marinade that I loved last time, sweet shrimp sashimi, smoked chicken, and I forgot to take a picture of the autumn tempura! All the dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and the chef and the owner were great. Thanks to the corona, time has flown by and it's already June 2022. This year, I visited Nakajima-cho in Muroran City for the first time and went to "Kuuga," a seafood charcoal grill restaurant! As always, I enjoyed the delicious appetizers, such as beef tongue miso pickles, rolled omelet, and deep-fried small shrimp, with a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option. The food was very tasty! The staff, led by the beautiful mama, were brisk and provided attentive service, making it a popular restaurant! I can't wait to go back soon! Muroran, Nakajimacho. Today's restaurant is Sora Masu. Located along the river just before the bustling area of Nakajimacho. This is a revisit. I don't always mention it, but I come here quite often. It was my partner's birthday, and Sora Masu was requested. The food here is good, and the presentation is cute, which is popular among women! The sashimi plate is long, so it's always hard to take a picture, haha. The sashimi was all delicious this day, even though I was worried because it was right after Manbou season. It happened that I had come here with friends the day before, so when I mentioned it was my partner's birthday the next day, they made a fruit plate for us - how kind. I will definitely visit here again. Thank you for the meal! (・∀・)

On June 20, the long-lasting state of emergency was lifted in Hokkaido. On June 30, after about 4 months, I visited the seafood charcoal-grilled cuisine restaurant, Kuuga San, with a friend. We enjoyed the beautiful appetizers that we always look forward to, and had tarako tempura and smoked salmon with oolong highball and recommended Japanese sake. The wonderful points of this restaurant, Kuuga San, are: 1) The master's skilled cooking that is delicious and well-prepared. 2) The hospitality of the mama's thoughtful actions and care is pleasant. 3) The brisk and warm customer service of the male and female staff is impressive and heartwarming. Leaving the restaurant feeling very satisfied and thinking strongly, "I want to come back to Kuuga again!" It is a wonderful restaurant〜ヽ(・∀・)

Muroran Nakajima here. Today's restaurant is Sora Masu. It's a revisit. My companion said, "Let's have seafood♡," so I tried calling another restaurant but couldn't get through. "Should we just go to Sora Masu for seafood?" I asked, and my companion was actually happy about it, so I thought, why not? The all-you-can-drink option is 1690 yen for 2 hours. We toasted with delicious beer as always♡ The presentation of the appetizers is beautiful. It's nice to be entertained visually. - Sashimi platter (5 types) We were in the mood for sashimi, so we ordered the 5-piece platter. The long plate made it difficult to take photos, haha. Octopus, salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and sea urchin. Not only visually pleasing, but also delicious. I recommend the sashimi here. This time, the tuna was excellent, especially the in-between fatty and lean cuts. When we order the sashimi platter, it usually comes with tuna and salmon. I'm not a big fan of salmon, and my companion doesn't like tuna, so it's perfect for us to share. - Grilled beef tongue Thinly sliced beef tongue with plenty of green onions. Served with Nanban miso. It goes well with beer and is delicious. The mizuna and purple onion salad are a nice palate cleanser. - Grilled surf clam Surf clam and mushrooms sautéed in butter. Surf clam and mushrooms go well together. The salad is served with this dish as well. I just realized that many dishes come with a side salad. The beautiful presentation and abundance of vegetables must be appealing to girls. My companion doesn't eat a lot of vegetables though, haha. - Chili shrimp The shrimp is small but tasty! It's served with crispy rice, which is nice. Hmm, I forgot to take a picture of the regular menu again, even though I planned to do it this time. Oh well, I think I'll come back here soon, so I'll make sure to take a picture of the regular menu next time! Haha, thank you for the meal ☺

Visited with my wife to celebrate her birthday in March 2021. We enjoyed the smoked dishes and warm sake, which paired perfectly. The motsunabe we tried for the first time was delicious, with a soy sauce-based soup that was amazing. The master's skill, the mama's care, and the energetic and efficient service from the staff make this restaurant a top-notch establishment in the Muroran area.

It has an L-shaped counter and tatami seating. The tatami seating has tables with backrests, which is quite comfortable. They offer a 120-minute all-you-can-drink option starting from 1690 yen for 2 people, which is a good deal if you drink more than 4 drinks. The appetizer consists of 3 types, all of which are well-prepared. The octopus and burdock stew was delicious. The sashimi platter includes surf clam, salmon, and tuna. The salmon, in particular, was surprisingly tasty. The abalone steak with sautéed mushrooms and asparagus was flavorful. The fried smelt was crispy and well-seasoned. The chicken heart and mushroom stir-fry was also tasty, with a sweet and savory sauce. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, and the tableware was unique. The staff provided good service, and the atmosphere was just right. Although some items are priced a bit high, considering the quality, it is worth it. They also offer a variety of sake and shochu. Overall, it is highly recommended for a date night in Nakajimacho if you are looking for a Japanese cuisine option. I would love to go back to try more dishes. Thank you for the meal.

On January 25, 2021, I visited a restaurant with a friend after attending his mother's wake. The chef's skills and sense were excellent, and every dish we ordered was delicious. The service provided by the owner and staff was very pleasant. We ordered the crispy and hot oyster fry and smoked chicken, which we had enjoyed before. The oyster fry was large and crispy, while the smoked chicken paired perfectly with the warm sake we ordered. We also tried the shrimp chili spring rolls and tofu shrimp dumplings for the first time, and they were incredibly delicious and original. As expected, it was another great dining experience at Sora Ga. I wonder if I'll be back for more tonight! (￣∇￣)

On January 7, 2021, at 6:00 PM, as scheduled, my wife and I visited Sora Ga with a reservation. It was the first time for my wife to visit. Interestingly, at this time on this day, Prime Minister Suga was holding a press conference regarding the state of emergency declaration in one metropolis and three prefectures. Nevertheless, it became our first dining out experience of 2021! 😊 To put it simply, my impression of the visit is "it was great! Every dish was very delicious!" And specifically, the good points I can mention are: 1) The presentation of all dishes was beautiful and delicious, especially the sashimi. 2) The service was polite and pleasant, both from the mama-san and the female staff. 3) It was a great value to use the all-you-can-drink option. The dishes prepared by the master chef showed his skill and sense, each dish was creatively crafted and different from typical izakaya dishes. The service is likely well instructed by the mama-san. I have seen several staff members before, and they all served with efficiency and precision, timing the dish and glass removal perfectly, making the dining experience enjoyable! Feel so good! 😊

It had been a long time since June, but finally visited with 4 friends!😊 Sora Masu's food is amazing! Starting with elaborate appetizers, each dish is carefully crafted in both taste and presentation, showcasing the chef's skills and creativity. The variety of dishes goes beyond typical izakaya fare. In addition to the delicious food, the attentive service from the beautiful mama-san and the staff elevates the overall experience. With the all-you-can-drink course, even with plenty of drinks among us drinkers, the bill for the four of us was around 14,000 yen for the night.

My family of four went there. The restaurant was crowded, so I think it's a popular place. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. The presentation was also lovely. It was tasty, but the prices were high and not suitable for a casual family meal. Maybe the course menu would be better?

This week, on Wednesday night, I visited Kuga, a seafood charcoal grill restaurant for a friend's birthday celebration! From the appetizers to everything else, all the dishes were carefully prepared! The drink was also all-you-can-drink. The 1500 yen ramen salad was delicious, and the large shrimp tempura and octopus Karaage were also tasty! The Kuga beer zangi was also very good! There was also tartar sauce available! The sashimi was cut and presented beautifully and was easy to eat. Everything was delicious, and the total bill for 4 people was 12,000 yen, which was quite reasonable considering the all-you-can-drink course we had!

The appetizer was of a very high quality! It paired well with dry sake or beer, and the portion size was slightly large for one person, giving a satisfying feeling.

It's been a while since I visited Sora Miyabi! The food is still delicious and beautifully presented as always! The teamwork between the master and mama, as well as the hospitality, adds to the charm of the restaurant! (￣∇￣)
