There is a takoyaki shop that sets up on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in front of the Wellington Hotel. They also do mobile sales in various areas such as Enbetsu, Chitose, and Muroran, but their main spot is in front of the Wellington Hotel in Urakawa. The takoyaki is a bit pricey, but it is large, fluffy, and filled with delicious broth. You can choose between a rich sauce or a broth soy sauce. I opted for the broth soy sauce and it was refreshing. You buy a food ticket from the vending machine first and then place your order. The jumbo takoyaki costs 560 yen, while the green onion takoyaki, cheese takoyaki, seared cheese takoyaki, and mentaiko mayo cheese takoyaki all cost 680 yen. They also offer tapioca for 500 yen, but if you get it as a set with takoyaki, it's only 500 yen total, saving you almost 200 yen. I tried the seared cheese takoyaki, which wasn't on the vending machine menu, but they were able to make it by searing the regular cheese takoyaki. It was incredibly delicious, especially when drizzled with some broth soy sauce. Despite the higher price, the takoyaki was so large that I left feeling full. Thank you for the meal!

"I had 'Salt and Pepper Takoyaki'. The takoyaki was sprinkled evenly with salt and pepper. It was more on the moist side. When I ate it, it was very soft and creamy. The saltiness and spiciness of the pepper that comes later give it a light and refreshing aftertaste, making it delicious."
