I dropped by casually. It seems to be the 3rd anniversary of the opening. They opened before the pandemic and really worked hard, didn't they? I ordered Maruyama coffee for 450 yen and a mixed hot sandwich for 550 yen. The interior of the shop is decorated with dried flowers and other items, giving it a lovely atmosphere. The coffee is not filtered, it's like making tea, where it's pressed down. Even though it's a dark roast, it's not bitter. Maybe because it's equivalent to two cups in one. The hot sandwich contains tomatoes, scrambled eggs, ham, and more. I might prefer the scrambled eggs less sweet. Other than that, it's delicious without any complaints. It comes with a salad, which is quite a bargain! It's even more economical for breakfast. Next time, I definitely want to arrive by 11 am and take my time. Thank you for the meal.

This is a cafe in Yobito, Abashiri. It has a fancy atmosphere both inside and out. There is even a dog dollhouse which adds to the fun. The menu consists of light meals, drinks, and desserts, keeping it simple. They open early and offer a morning menu, which is great. I ordered the baked cheese and Maruyama Coffee's dark roast. The coffee is served in a French press, enough for two cups. The cake was delicious. The coffee had a good balance of richness and bitterness. The French press brings out the oily texture and intense aroma of the coffee, which is great.

On Saturdays, as usual, I am alone. On Friday, I had lunch in Kitami, so my weight is in a bad condition. Today, I went for a walk and did some food log activities. I started from home and headed to Yobito. I started late and underestimated the time, so I arrived more than an hour later than planned at a new cafe called "Coffee Sanpo." The exterior looks like a combination of a house and a cafe. It's a lovely place. Inside, there were two older ladies as customers. The counter has 3 seats and 4 seats. The table seats were not comfortable, so I couldn't tell. The interior of the cafe is very nice. The background music is piano and the Carpenters. The lady who served me was very nice, asking if I was cold. I ordered Maruyama Coffee brand, deep roasted (rich taste and aroma) for ¥450. They grind the coffee with a machine, and it sounded like a fine grind. It was served in a French press, which is quite rare around here. This gave me hope for a delicious coffee. When poured, the coffee oil floated on top. It had a moderate depth, not too bitter, and had a good balance of strength and roundness. The acidity was more noticeable in the second cup. There was still some sediment at the bottom, but the coffee was delicious and plentiful. I wonder where Maruyama is from? Next, I plan to visit a restaurant that serves only 20 meals a day. I hope I am not too late. It's a nice cafe where you can relax. Thank you for the meal. Oh, the person at the register was different this time. Was it her sister or mother?
