I ordered a "Tonkatsu set meal" and a "Pork cutlet rice bowl set" in a not-so-crowded restaurant. During the meal, a staff member silently placed almond jelly on my table from behind and then disappeared. I thought they had forgotten to include it in our order, so I tried my best to eat it even though I don't like almond jelly. The staff member later explained that they had mistakenly brought it to me instead of another customer, but insisted that I had to pay for the almond jelly since I had eaten it. The taste of the tonkatsu was average. The soba noodles seemed to be made from a mix of 20% wheat flour and 80% buckwheat, but I couldn't really smell the aroma of the soba.

The Chinese food was delicious. A bit oily but the flavor was exquisite. It was raining heavily and the restaurant had just opened, so there were no other customers. There were three staff members working today. It's a nice clean restaurant on the outskirts of town. I might come back next year.

I often order the tempura rice bowl set (900 yen), and the tempura is crispy and tasty. The tempura of green peppers is especially good. The meal comes with salad, side dishes, and pickles. I would like to try their Chinese dishes next time. Please be aware that it may take some time for the food to be served. Don't forget to bring your smartphone, a book, or something to keep yourself entertained while waiting!
