I saw a post and went to the parking lot of a pachinko parlor where there is a shop run by a female owner. It seems like the shop has already closed down. They are said to have inherited the taste of a soba restaurant called Erimono. I ordered the shrimp tempura soba, and water is self-service. They prepared freshly fried tempura for me, and provided green onions in a separate dish along with pickles. The hot broth was delicious and slightly sweet. The tempura was also tasty. As for the soba...hmm? It's green in color? Green tea soba? Mugwort? No, but it doesn't have that kind of flavor. It tasted good, with a slightly unusual flavor. When I finished eating and went to pay, I asked about it, and they said that the soba was made with chlorella powder. Oh, I see, that's interesting. I couldn't really taste the chlorella, but it was delicious and seemed good for the body, so I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal. (-人-)

On the way back from Sapporo, I stopped by at COOP for some shopping. After finishing, it was already past 6 pm and I felt like having some light soba noodles. So, I decided to revisit Okāyan, which carries on the local flavors. There were no other customers this day, so I secured a seat at the back of the counter. I ordered the "kashiwa soba (with one shrimp tempura on top)" from the wife. I was curious about the tempura, how would it be. The shrimp tempura seemed to be lightly reheated in the microwave, while the soba soup was quite hot. It didn't seem necessary to microwave it. It took about 8 minutes to be served. First, the soup, it was quite close to the taste from before. Maybe there were some "instructions" given (referring to previous reviews). The tempura also had a good amount of oil coming out, adding to its impact. On the other hand, the soba was a bit lacking. Although it had a decent thickness, it lacked the smoothness and had a slightly mushy texture on the surface. Perhaps there is an issue with the soba dough. It might just be a coincidence. Let's see how the evolution of the soup and the soba's issues unfold. And if I happen to meet the owner of "Erimo-an," I'll make sure to share my feedback.

Due to various circumstances, the local restaurant "Erimo-an" closed this winter. However, there were rumors that the owner was passing on the taste to someone else, and eventually, there was talk of a new store opening in Shizunai, Nihidaka Town in April of this year. On a recent trip back from Sapporo, I decided to stop by a restaurant located in a pachinko parlor parking lot for a quick meal, as it was just before 6:30 PM. I had never been to this place before, but I assumed it used to be a diner for pachinko customers. When I opened the door and sat at the counter, I was surprised to see the owner there. We had a brief conversation, and I ordered the kashiwa soba. The noodles were thin, similar to the ones from the previous restaurant, and the broth had a slightly sweet taste. Overall, I felt that the portion size could be a bit larger for a more satisfying meal. The tempura seemed to be pre-fried and reheated, which I found unnecessary. Also, it's worth noting that the restaurant does not have its own restroom, so customers need to use the one in the pachinko parlor.

Kashiwa Soba (800 yen including tax) I couldn't really taste the delicate flavor of the soba, but the broth was delicious. The price is affordable and it's a convenient place for everyday dining.
