A traditional yakiniku restaurant in the West district. It's a popular local spot with good value for money and everything on the menu is delicious. The offal dishes are particularly recommended as they are tender and not gamey. The vinegar onion pairs well with the meat! With a wide variety of menu options, I look forward to trying a different dish next time.

Located in the Happo area of the Nishi Ward, this yakiniku restaurant is situated in a shopping street close to JR Happo Chuo Station. I heard from a friend that it was delicious, so I decided to have dinner there. There is a parking space in front of the building. The interior has a retro Showa-era atmosphere with counter seats, table seats, and a raised area in the back. It was a weekday dinner time, but there were many regular customers, indicating its popularity. The yakiniku is cooked on a gas stove embedded in the table. While there is a smoke exhaust system, there was still a slight smell on clothes. We ordered the "Wagyu Upper Kalbi (1,350 yen excluding tax)", "Domestic Upper Sagari (880 yen excluding tax)", "Upper Salted Tongue (800 yen excluding tax)", "Raw Jingisukan (580 yen excluding tax)", and "Hormone (420 yen excluding tax)". The quality of the meat was good compared to the price, and everything we tried was delicious, making it feel like a good deal. The staff worked efficiently and had a pleasant demeanor, making it a recommended choice for those looking to enjoy delicious yakiniku at a reasonable price.

Visited Yakiniku Hodori in Nishi-ku, Sapporo City, Hokkaido on October 7, 2019. It had been a while since my last visit, so I was excited to have some meat to boost my energy for the month of October! I went by car since they have parking available. I ordered a non-alcoholic beer while my companion had plum wine. We ordered two servings of Negi Shio Gyutan (green onion salted beef tongue), Wagyu Kalbi, domestic Sagari (skirt steak), miso horumon (offal) and horse meat yukhoe (Korean-style raw beef). The Gyutan had a slightly rich flavor and was delicious when wrapped with green onions. It went well with rice. The domestic Sagari was tender even if slightly overcooked, and had a flavorful taste that paired nicely with rice. The horse meat yukhoe had a sweet and savory taste without any unpleasant smell, and was also delicious. This restaurant offers tasty food at a reasonable price, making it a convenient choice for a yakiniku meal. They even give you gum or candy on your way out. We had a very enjoyable meal. Thank you for the delicious food.

This local yakiniku restaurant is popular and always crowded. There are many autographs from Consadole players. The meat is delicious, and they also have a variety of side dishes like beef tendon stew and tripe stew, which are also tasty. The quality is satisfying for the price. The staff provides good customer service.

Before I knew it, the fresh liver was no longer available (;∀;) My favorite liver dish is finally gone... There is only one restaurant that I know of where I can occasionally eat delicious rare liver. These days, I sometimes crave tasty liver dishes!

A locally beloved yakiniku restaurant (^o^)! A nearby yakiniku place! I wish I had gone there sooner, it was a fantastic yakiniku restaurant (゚∀゚)! They offer a range of meats from cheap to expensive, and even the cheaper cuts are delicious thanks to their skilled preparation and seasoning. My go-to is always the fresh liver with wine for a delightful experience. It's a cost-effective place that makes you want to keep going back again and again!!

I visited this restaurant in my neighborhood for the first time in over 10 years. It was a joy to see that it is still standing strong as a long-standing establishment. The cost performance is still great, and the meat was delicious as always. They serve just the right amount starting from one serving, which was perfect for me.

The menu had reasonable prices and the food was delicious. I would love to come back with a group next time and enjoy some drinks. Overall, a great dining experience.

Today we had a large party at this restaurant. It's our regular gathering this time of year. This place is the only one around here that can accommodate all 32 of us, so it's really convenient. The set menu for the party was 3500 yen per person, but there was support from the organizers, so it wasn't that expensive. We had various dishes like sagari, kalbi, pork belly, beef tongue, and Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue). The drinks were all-you-can-drink, which was a great deal. The food was on the sweeter side, and the dipping sauces were light because the marinades were already flavorful. The Genghis Khan here goes really well with rice. I wish they served Genghis Khan lunch sets too. Overall, it's a fantastic barbecue restaurant called Hatsukita. Cheers!

I heard from a friend in January 2017 that this yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) place is delicious, so I decided to visit. It was a weekend and the restaurant was quite crowded, indicating its popularity. The location is about a 10-minute walk from JR Hassamu Chuo Station, and the restaurant is quite spacious with ample parking space. They use a roaster to cook the meat. We started with a toast with beer, followed by bone-in kalbi, domestic top-grade beef sagari, and a kimchi platter. They also had a Korean version of Chamisul, which was served chilled. In Korea, this is typically consumed straight in shot glasses with ice-cold temperature. It pairs well with dishes like samgyeopsal. The slight sweetness of the drink complements the spicy dishes. However, the seasoning of the yakiniku here is a bit on the sweeter side, which can be a bit overpowering. We switched to "karari imo" (crispy sweet potato) to balance it out. We also tried horse sashimi, yukhoe (Korean beef tartare), and grilled beef tongue with green onion salt. The beef bone and green onion soup was warming with a strong garlic flavor. The yukgaejang-kkuppa (spicy beef tail soup) was quite spicy but very delicious. Overall, it was a satisfying yakiniku experience. Thank you for the meal.

Here we are at Hodori-san. We always rely on this place, so we have to repay the favor. It's the annual feast at Hodori-san. This time, 35 people gathered. Normally, we only have about 20 people for our regular or impromptu drinking parties, but when the venue is Hodori-san, the number of participants suddenly increases (laughs). Everyone loves Hodori-san. Today, we set up a free-flowing drink package, so the per person fee is 4000 yen. No additional orders or soft serve ice cream allowed! We have to resist the cold noodles~. It's Hodori-san's meat after all. It can't be bad. Bean sprout namul, pickled kimchi, kakuteki, seseri, pork jowl, tripe, miso offal, sagari, kalbi, Genghis Khan, kimchi stew, rice. And then, it's all-you-can-drink. Wow, Hodori-san really went all out, didn't they? The quantity is quite substantial. This place not only has quality meat, but the seasoning is also great. It's the marinade, you know. The sauce really penetrates the meat well. When eating, we use a light sauce. It's so delicious. Perfect with beer. And the Genghis Khan here! It's the kind that's chunky like at a yakiniku restaurant. This one has a slightly sweet marinade and it's incredibly tasty! It goes well with rice! This Genghis Khan is sinful. You can eat as much rice as you want with it. It's hard to go to a place like this alone. They always cooperate with the community and can accommodate a large number of people, which is the charm of Hodori-san. I hope they bring back lunch service. I want to eat Genghis Khan with rice in the middle of the day (laughs).
