❶→Located near the Aeon store along the main street connecting Noboribetsu and Muroran in November 2013. I had to go to Noboribetsu and Muroran for work. I used to live temporarily in Nakajima-cho, Muroran, and it's a town I really like, so I consider it my home. However, I only know the route from East Muroran to Noboribetsu, and there are too few satisfying lunch options. There is curry ramen, but there are no other delicious ramen shops. I barely like Nakayoshi's shoyu ramen. The soba quality is low, although the soba shop called Hashi-sou in front of East Muroran Station is delicious, there are times when I don't feel like eating soba. Western food is typically lacking in cost performance. Chinese and curry dishes are not impressive. The only lunch spot I liked in Higashimachi stopped serving lunch. So, what's the point? I end up going into any place. Honestly, I had seen this place often while passing by, but I never thought of going in. I didn't know what kind of shop it was, and even if they called themselves a lunch cafe like an atelier, I would be in trouble if they only had sandwiches or cakes, and even though I'm writing about ramen, it's probably meaningless anyway... There are many reasons why I wouldn't enter, and there are almost no reasons to make me want to enter, but as mentioned earlier, I am a lunch refugee, so I decided to go in with the intention of just having coffee. There is a spacious parking lot next to the store. When I entered, I found a spacious interior. To avoid being mistaken for an atelier customer, I immediately sat at a table. Looking at the menu, it was advertised as a shop specializing in additive-free, non-chemical home-style ramen. Regardless of the meaning of "home-style," I strongly agree with the additive-free, non-chemical concept. I ordered the salt ramen for 720 yen and the chashu mixed grain onigiri for 250 yen. Once I placed my order, I looked around the store feeling relieved. It turned out that it was not an atelier but a "Ramen Cafe with Atelier-like Atmosphere." The menu includes egg-free noodles and lard-free options for those with allergies, which is a health-conscious menu, and I was impressed by it. The ramen arrived in about 10 minutes. Oh! Isn't this noodle similar to Asahikawa style? This is unexpectedly sophisticated. I didn't expect to find thin Asahikawa-style noodles in Noboribetsu and Muroran. This noodle could easily be served with a milky broth, but it is a clear broth, perhaps due to health considerations. It is very light, but the animal-based broth is noticeable, and the saltiness is strong. Isn't it delicious! The chashu and menma are delicious too, and I never thought it would be so authentic. I thought it was a complicated trap, but it was good that I went through the atelier fake to get here. The amount of noodles is large. In fact, there are too many noodles that absorb the soup. In terms of taste, it's not a big problem. The chashu onigiri is a cherry blossom color made by mixing red or black rice. It is large and delicious with chashu and green onions. It's surprising that it's a portion that men would enjoy, coming from such a feminine shop. It's non-smoking and offers free Wi-Fi inside the store. Since there were only housewife-like women in the kitchen, I thought it was a hobby ramen shop, but I didn't expect it to be so authentic. It was the most delicious ramen in the Noboribetsu and Muroran area. The biggest surprise of the year! I will go back to try all the menu items.
❷→I have visited several times, but the other day, I had the set meal for 980 yen. The set meal includes ginger pork or curry, which changes daily. On this day, it was curry. It is said to be a waterless curry made by simply stir-frying onions. The fruity sweetness and acidity of the chutney-like sauce create a rich and deep flavor, making it an exceptionally excellent homemade roux sauce. The set meal also includes a drink service, offering coffee or healthy tea to maintain a thorough health-conscious approach. The ramen is sometimes lukewarm, but I still love the taste.
