Having dinner at the food court at Asahikawa Airport. My daughter had zaru soba at this soba restaurant and finished it all by herself. I think it was 790 yen. As ramen is famous for noodles, I didn't think about having soba here, but when I tried a bite, it was actually delicious. Simple soba at a reasonable price, it's nice to have once in a while, don't you think?

This is a soba restaurant located in the food court "Soraiichi" at Asahikawa Airport. It used to be at the "Michi no Eki Asahikawa" before. When I saw the prices, they were quite high. Airport prices? Well, even when it was at the "Michi no Eki," it was a bit pricey. I bought a ticket for the "Hokkaido Duck Seiro Soba" (1,450 yen) and handed it to the staff. "The one that makes noise??" I was asked. I waited at my seat, and in about 7-8 minutes, it was ready. The Hokkaido Duck Seiro Soba had a generous amount of soba noodles. They seemed machine-made due to their consistent appearance. The noodles were thin with a decent firmness. The broth was slightly sweet, with a refined taste. Perhaps it's sweeter because of the duck? It was quite delicious. There were 5 slices of duck meat, more than I expected as some were hidden beneath the noodles. There was also plenty of green onions. Overall, if the soba noodles were a bit better, it would have been perfect. It wasn't bad at all. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

"Soba no Kaburagi" I came from Asahikawa to Higashikagura-cho where Asahikawa Airport is located. I heard that there are not many restaurants in the city where you can use the hotel-exclusive coupons given at the hotel, but there are a few at the airport. So, my lunch ended up being at Asahikawa Airport. I decided to have soba at the food court. It was the cheapest option because I didn't want to pay the airport prices, so I ended up paying 750 yen. It's not ridiculously expensive, but it's definitely pricey compared to soba in town. I ordered the "mori soba" from the ticket machine. The appearance looked like dried noodles with poor draining. The taste and aroma of the soba were lacking. It wasn't too firm but lacked texture. The soba was unusually long. My companion said, "If it's just the soba, it's not bad." So, I guess that's okay. The broth wasn't overly sweet, and the umami flavor was strong. Overall, it was decent when dipped in the soba.

Lunch at Asahikawa Airport. Despite being drawn to the curry next door, my child requested soba. Since my child can't finish a full portion yet, we decided to share the soba. The zaru soba was priced at 790 yen and came in a generous portion. The noodles were shiny and neatly cut. When dipped in the sauce and slurped, it had a sharp, bold flavor with a strong sweetness. The soba itself didn't have a strong flavor, more of a texture to enjoy. It lacked the expected sweetness and aroma. The noodles had a good chewy texture, making it easy to eat. Overall, the meal was satisfying, even though the flavor didn't quite stand out.

I passed by Asahikawa Airport and decided to stop by on a whim. The food court doesn't open until 11:00, so I wandered around the airport to pass the time. As soon as it opened, I rushed in and visited "Soba Kaburagi" at the airport. I'm not sure if they have other branches (I didn't check). The menu prices were a bit high, with the "Tanuki Soba @830" being quite pricey. I ordered the cold version and waited for my order with a buzzer. After about 6 minutes, my order was ready. It came with soba, dipping sauce, green onions, wasabi, and chopsticks. The soba noodles were thin and smooth, but lacked a strong flavor. The dipping sauce was average. Overall, it was decent but the high price was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have some soba broth as well. Thank you for the meal.

Before heading to Komatsu Airport via Haneda, I stopped by this soba restaurant in the food court at Asahikawa Airport for a quick meal. I had the "Nabe Yaki Udon" for 1,380 yen. The bubbling hot pot was overflowing with freshly fried large shrimp tempura. It was packed with mochi, half-cooked egg, green onions, shiitake mushrooms, meat, and burdock. The broth was a delicious dark soup flavored with bonito dashi in the style of Eastern Japan. The noodles were thick and chewy. Despite being airport prices, this nabe yaki udon was surprisingly delicious for a food court meal!

Visited Asahikawa Airport for the first time in decades. It has changed a lot and I was surprised. Today, I came to see off my brother who is traveling to Kitakyushu. For lunch, I tried Kaburagi, a Hokkaido soba restaurant in the food court for the first time. Everyone else had soy sauce ramen from Umekouken (laughs). The Hokkaido duck soba was 1,250 yen!! The broth was slightly spicy, which I like, and it was delicious. The duck meat was a bit chewy for my liking, I prefer it a bit softer. I would be happier if the price was a bit lower, but it's still a bit expensive as expected in an airport food court.

On February 7, 2021 (Sun) at 11:20, I arrived at Asahikawa Airport to return to Ishikawa Prefecture via Haneda and Komatsu. After having Genghis Khan at the food court that opened at 11:00, I finished off with soba here. I had the Hokkaido mushroom soba (hot) for 950 yen. It had a richly colored broth with thin noodles. The soba was delicious. It also came with tempura of four types of mushrooms: shiitake, eringi, shimeji, and maitake. They were all large and very satisfying in portion!

This is the food court at Asahikawa Airport. We had Genghis Khan at Asahi Hito teppanyaki with beer and wine. Daytime drinking hits you faster, so I suggested getting something filling to eat, but my wife said she wasn't hungry. So we decided to share a bowl of tororo soba, which I went to buy at "Soba Kaburaki." It cost 880 yen and we got a plate to share. I wasn't expecting much from food court soba, but it was surprisingly delicious, maybe because the portion was small. I thought, soba goes well with sake! In Asahikawa, it's Otoko Yamahai. My wife looked at me with a raised eyebrow as I bought the sake. I don't remember the price, but it was probably cheap. Now that we're a little tipsy, let's head to the gate and go back to Tokyo!

Asahikawa Airport, on the second floor in the food court, there is a soba restaurant where you purchase a ticket from a vending machine and wait for about 8 minutes. You can help yourself to water in paper cups. The warm kashiwa soba broth made with chicken bones is good. The soba itself is average, and the price is a bit high at 950 yen. However, the portion size is generous, almost like a large serving.

I visited the airport facility after it was renovated and decided to have some soba noodles for a light meal among the various shops. I purchased a meal ticket from the vending machine, handed it to the counter, received a calling machine, and waited at my seat. After about 10 minutes, the buzzer rang and I picked up my order. It was just average soba noodles. It was gentle on my stomach that had been overeating. The water is self-service located in the center of the food court. It might be a good choice for a quick meal.

Opened inside the airport food court "Soraichi," this shop was a bit disappointing. I started off with a snack set (tempura, pickled vegetables, edamame) and a beer. I was surprised that a 350ml bottle of beer cost 500 yen. Furthermore, it took over 15 minutes for the snack set to arrive... It seems to be an issue with their operation, but it was quite tough to wait that long. The soba noodles were decently tasty, but the sweetness of the dipping sauce may not be to everyone's liking. Personally, I prefer a bit more saltiness, so I have to give a harsh rating on that. I probably won't be coming back here.

Every time I visit Asahikawa Airport, I always stop by this soba restaurant. While there are other options in the food court like "Santoka" Asahikawa ramen, the lines can get quite long. Since I always arrive at the airport just in time for my flight, I opt for this soba restaurant. The soba may be priced for the airport, but I find it delicious. I arrived at the restaurant at 12:35, purchased a meal ticket (Large Shrimp Tempura Soba: 1980 yen), received a calling disk, was called to the counter at 12:53, and left at 12:53. In order to catch my JAL554 flight to Tokyo at 13:15, I had to pass through security 20 minutes before departure, leaving me with little time. The soba was delicious with a good texture, and the shrimp was fried well, making it easy to eat quickly. This soba restaurant is my go-to choice, as I believe it is delicious compared to soba restaurants nationwide. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered Hokkaido duck seiro soba. The soba noodles were firm and the portion was good. The noodle broth was a bit too sweet and had too much duck fat, making it look nice but a bit too rich.

I want soba soup that is slightly thick and delicious, but it's in a food court so it can't be helped.
