The next day, despite drinking enough to have a hangover, I enjoyed skiing during the day. My wife knows the restaurant she wants to go to, but why go two nights in a row? "Because you won't be able to go out for a while starting next week, right?" That's true, I have to be quiet for two weeks due to my circumstances. The first place was the restaurant my wife wanted to go to, and we were satisfied. The second place was "Hai Hai Osaka Ken" for all-you-can-drink. Even though it was two nights in a row, and the second place, they stopped chilling the beer mugs? Maybe they were just too busy. I'm fine with this amount, but it's just a regular delicious beer. The menu has changed, and now they only offer a set of 7 skewers for 1000 yen instead of individual skewers. It's still delicious, and that's what I wanted to eat, so I'm satisfied. The hormone yakitori is delicious, the vegetables are good, and the okonomiyaki is also great. But I wonder what happened to the guy who was making takoyaki? Anyway, it was crowded, with a lot of people coming and going.

This is a revisit. Since the situation with Corona has calmed down, I decided to go out. I ordered Negi-Mayonnaise takoyaki, sauce yakisoba, deep-fried shishito peppers, cheese, pork, squid, and quail eggs. The takoyaki came out first. It was creamy and fluffy. The octopus was small but it was my favorite. I enjoyed the deep-fried items like cheese and quail eggs. The sauce was poured on rather than dipped, and you need to put a good amount for flavor. Then, I tried the yakisoba for the first time! The person making takoyaki was a young man, the deep-fried items were made by the landlady, and the yakisoba was made by the owner speaking in Kansai dialect. I was looking forward to it! But, hmm, it was just okay? It wasn't any different from when I make yakisoba at home and it turns out well. From now on, I'll just stick to the takoyaki alone, haha.

I heard that it had just opened, so I went to check it out. It's located across from Apt 4, and it used to be a different shop before it became a restaurant. The menu is all displayed on the wall. They serve takoyaki, yakisoba, and kushikatsu. The drinks menu is on a whiteboard, which was a bit too bright. I ordered Negi Menta Mayo takoyaki (8 pieces for 550 yen), shrimp kushikatsu (180 yen), pork kushikatsu (150 yen), asparagus kushikatsu (120 yen), and lotus root kushikatsu (100 yen). The takoyaki came out relatively quickly. They were soft inside and crispy outside, delicious! I noticed that there was no sauce, seaweed, or bonito flakes on them. Just then, the kushikatsu arrived. There was a Worcestershire sauce bottle on the counter. I tried it on the takoyaki too. Maybe you don't need to put sauce on them. For those who prefer sauce, maybe it's better to order the 600 yen one. The kushikatsu was crispy. The shrimp was a bit tough, maybe due to the tail. I requested two more. I sat at the counter, but there was a draft coming through the glass door. Even though the snow has melted, it's still chilly. I hope they add some heating measures like curtains or heaters at the entrance. There were three staff members, two of them wearing chin masks. It was a bit disappointing when they served me or talked to me. About one-third of people may think it's okay not to wear masks anymore, one-third may prefer wearing masks, and the other third may absolutely want everyone to wear masks. I belong to the group that believes masks are essential, especially in a restaurant where many people come and go. Despite this, I enjoyed the food, so I hope they make some improvements.

After leaving Tsubohachi in Abashiri and before heading back to my accommodation, I stopped by here. It seems like they have just recently opened, and they offer all-you-can-drink options as well. I suggested going in to eat, but my companion stopped me, saying we have to wake up early the next morning. So, we ended up getting takeout takoyaki. Inside, there were two handsome guys working behind the counter, and they quickly cooked up the takoyaki for us in about 10 minutes. The freshly cooked takoyaki was piping hot, with a creamy filling and large pieces of octopus - delicious! If I have the chance to visit again, I'd like to try their all-you-can-drink option with kushikatsu and yakisoba. Thank you, Ken!
