It's been a while since I tried it, but this cake shop is more expensive than a convenience store, and about 100-150 yen cheaper than a more elaborate cake shop. Personally, I felt that I would be willing to spend a little more money to have a delicious cake. For those who are satisfied with convenience store sweets, it may seem expensive, and for those who are used to going to cake shops, it may seem unsatisfactory. I tried two other flavors, but I thought this Mont Blanc was the best.

I visited a Western confectionery shop that opened in July 2019 in the Omachi Ginza shopping street in Ebetsu City. The shop is located across from the parking lot of the Trial Ebetsu Omachi store. I bought a Financier cake and it was delicious, with a buttery flavor and a moist texture. I also wanted to try the cakes, but I decided against it as I was riding a bicycle and didn't want to risk a disaster with the cake box.

I bought cream puffs and cakes at "Pâtisserie Ruelle" and it seems that the prices have gone up starting this month. However, the 3 cream puffs for 1000 yen deal remained unchanged. This month's cream puff flavor is Earl Grey. I also tried buying a cake for the first time. The size of the cake is still big. The "Plenty of Cream Puff" has a mild custard cream and fluffy whipped cream generously sandwiched in a crispy cream puff. The cream puff is topped with roasted almonds and powdered sugar. The almonds add a nice texture. The "Pastry Chef's Whimsical Cream Puff" is a cream puff filled with strawberries and blueberries. The "Plenty of Strawberry Crispy Tart" has a crispy tart with almond dough, topped with whipped cream and three strawberries. It's all about the strawberries no matter where you take a bite. My husband had the Whimsical Cream Puff and Soufflé Cheesecake. There were few cake options and they were all strawberry-based, so I want to try something different next time.

Two middle-aged men were lured by a sign saying "Half-price items available" in front of a shop and entered the "Daikon Ginza Shopping Street" together. The small shop had a clean and cozy atmosphere, with a display of cakes, pastries, and baked goods. The two men purchased Madelines, Coffee Almond cookies, Lemon Cake, and Fruit Sticks. At the checkout, the young woman working alone seemed a bit intimidated by the presence of the two men, speaking softly. The Madelines were slightly dry, possibly due to nearing their expiration date. The Coffee Almond cookies were small but had a nice almond flavor, though not very strong in coffee taste. The Lemon Cake was described as having a dry texture. The other items were eaten by someone else, so their details are unknown. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, and the men expressed their intention to try items other than the half-price ones next time.

Yesterday, I took a nice walk in Ginza while enjoying some cannabis, so I didn't prepare breakfast for today... That's why I bought a cake at a bakery in Ginza. My first impression of the cake was that it was small! Especially the chocolate cake, it was super mini-sized. Haha~ It was just a delicious cake.

I bought cream puffs from "Patisserie Ruelle" again. I wanted to buy the fig tart as well, but there were so many things to eat, so I just got the cream puffs. I really wanted to try the "Rich Pistachio Cream Puff" and I'm glad they had it. The pistachio flavor was strong and combined well with the whipped cream, creating a creamy taste that paired perfectly with the custard cream. I also bought the "Chef's Special Cream Puff" with strawberries and blueberries. It had a mild acidity, and the combination of whipped cream, custard, and crispy choux pastry was delicious. I also bought the "Melon Cream Puff" for my husband, which had sweet red melon sandwiched between custard and whipped cream. He seemed to enjoy it. I also bought a plain cream puff for my husband, but I forgot to take a picture of it. Next time, I want to try their cakes too.

Last week, I went to a shop called "Patisserie Ruelle" in Ooasa for their OPEN 3rd anniversary cream puff festival. I arrived around 11:00 when they were supposed to open, but the shop was still closed. Another customer was waiting in front of me. After a few minutes, the shop finally opened. Since it was a cream puff festival, the top half of the showcase was filled with cream puffs of 8 different flavors. I chose 5 cream puffs, including ones that my husband would like and ones that I wanted to try. During the festival, they were selling 3 cream puffs for 1000 yen. The cream puffs were all the same price except for the fruit ones. I bought cream puffs for my husband with fruit and cheese, and for myself with chocolate, coffee, and praline. The cream puffs were generously sized with a crispy choux pastry topped with diced almonds and powdered sugar. The cream was a custard and whipped cream combo with a mild sweetness that I really liked. The "chocolate cream puff" had a fluffy texture with a strong milk chocolate flavor that was slightly bitter and sophisticated. The "coffee cream puff" had a fluffy coffee cream filling. The "praline cream puff" had a fragrant praline cream with a delicious blend of custard. My husband's fruit cream puff had custard and whipped cream with strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, and oranges. The cheese cream puff had a mascarpone cheese cream filling. They were all very delicious, satisfying, and not too heavy. I also found a bakery nearby, so I plan to go back because it was so good.

This is the pudding from Patisserie Luel. It's not a jiggly pudding, but rather creamy and smooth. I like it with fresh cream and strawberries. I enjoy both firm and soft puddings, so this one suits my taste. Pudding is my favorite dessert, and now I'm craving it again. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I came to Ebetsu for a meal, so I searched and stopped by this place. They have Retro Pudding for 280 yen, Orange Jelly for 180 yen, Fluffy Cheesecake for 400 yen, and Butter Cake for 300 yen. It's located in a shopping street with a shared parking lot, so I parked and went to buy. The pudding is not jiggly but firm, with a strong eggy flavor and a delicious caramel. The orange jelly is not too sweet, more on the sour side, made with 100% orange juice, perfect for summer. It's only 180 yen, such a good deal. The cheesecake has a walnut base, giving it a rich taste. I would definitely buy the butter cake again, it has a nostalgic flavor and a nice buttery texture. It's sweet, not too white but more yellow in color. I couldn't decide and ended up buying 4 of them. The name "Ruelle" means "alley" or "lane" in French. Despite being a patisserie, the products are affordable and feel like cakes from a friendly neighborhood bakery. I would definitely come back. Thank you for the delicious treats!

At the recommendation of my sister, I visited a cute shop in a small shopping street. It seems like they just celebrated their 2nd anniversary as I received a complimentary financiers. They mainly offer cream puffs with only 2 types of cakes, along with one type of pudding and jelly. They also have a variety of baked goods. I purchased raspberry cream puff, fruit cream puff, cafe nuts cream puff, cheesecake, and a selection of baked goods. The cream puffs had two layers of cream and custard, with a subtle sweetness and a crispy texture. The cheesecake had a strong lemon flavor and was also not too sweet.

This place is located along Nakamichi Street in the Omicho Ginza Shopping Street in Oma Higashi-cho, Ebetsu City. It is recommended to check the exact location on the map on the food review website. A new curry shop was rumored to open in August in the Omicho Ginza Shopping Street, but as it is now September, there was no sign of it opening. So, I decided to visit this shop instead. The shop has a stylish look with white walls. Since there is no seating available, I opted to take my order to go. I looked at the cakes in the display case and purchased two "Choux a la Creme" that seemed easy to eat without utensils. After paying, I took my order back to the car parked at the shopping street's public parking lot to taste. The Choux a la Creme looked small in size. I first tasted the cream inside, which was a mixture of white cream and custard cream with a mild sweetness. The choux pastry was slightly soft, possibly due to the time since the cream was filled. Overall, I felt that it would be helpful if the shop put up a sign to make it more noticeable from the main street, as it was hard to tell there was a patisserie shop here from the outside.

On a certain weekday, I tried to check if a curry restaurant in Ebetsu, Oma was open, but it seemed closed, so I gave up. Instead, I visited a cake shop in Oma that I had never been to before. I parked in the designated parking lot of a supermarket in the shopping district. The shop was compact but had a decently sized showcase displaying a small selection of cakes. I noticed that the cakes were a bit cheaper than average, and I got excited and picked a few that caught my eye. I tried the "Ruelle Shortcake (350 yen tax included)" which was slightly smaller than average but had a good price, a well-balanced sweetness with a good ratio of fresh cream, and a moist sponge cake. I also tried the "Orange Jelly (250 yen tax included)" which had a refreshing summer look with transparent jelly, kiwi, tangy orange, and orange-flavored jelly at the bottom. Lastly, I tried the "Peach Tart (390 yen tax included)" which had a nice appearance, a rich sweet and sour taste, and a delicious tart crust with a buttery flavor. I realized that sometimes, feeling like you're getting a good deal even if the portion is slightly smaller than average is important. Thank you for the meal.

This is a Western confectionery shop that opened in Omari, Ebetsu City. I visited during the pre-opening period after seeing a flyer. When I went in the evening, they only had sets C and D left for 1,500 yen. Sets A and B must have sold out. I tried the strawberry shortcake, apple pie, strawberry jelly, tart, and blueberry mousse apple pie, and they were all very sweet! Is it okay for desserts to be this sweet in today's world? I was a bit worried, but personally, I had no problem and enjoyed them (^-^) They also gave me cookies as a service. It seems like they also sell baked goods. I will visit again soon after their official opening. Thank you for the meal (^o^)

This is a cake shop that opened in the Oma Ginza shopping street in Ebetsu City. I visited it right away. The opening period is July 13th (Sat) and 14th (Sun), and regular business will start from July 16th (Tue). As expected on the opening day, there was a long line. While waiting in line, a female staff member asked me, "Where are you from?" It seemed like she was also doing customer service in front of the store. Although she only spoke to me briefly, I felt a friendly atmosphere while waiting in line. Inside the store, you can choose cakes. During the opening period, they only sell two types of sets: a set of 3 fresh cakes, a set of 5 fresh cakes, and a set of baked sweets. The cakes on display were small and gave the impression of being similar to those sold in supermarkets. Despite planning to buy 3 cakes, I ended up purchasing the "Set of 5 fresh cakes (1,500 yen)" because they were small. I also received a baked sweet as a gift for the opening. The purchase process involved telling the staff member the order, writing it on the order form, the staff member putting the order in a paper bag, and then paying. The staff member at the checkout seemed inexperienced, which caused a slight delay. Even after leaving the store, the line was still long. I wonder how the business will be after the opening period. It will depend on the cakes they sell. The cakes in the sets this time left a tough impression on me. Even considering the price per piece being 300 yen, they still felt small. The appearance was similar to cakes sold in supermarkets. I tried the Gâteau au Chocolat and Mango Roll. The Gâteau au Chocolat was quite sweet with no cocoa flavor. It didn't have layers like some Gâteau au Chocolat does. It felt like an easier-to-make type of product. The Mango Roll was less sweet than the Gâteau au Chocolat and had mango in it.

Not too sweet, and delicious! The cream puff had plenty of cream, almost too much to take a bite. It's a shame they close at 3 pm, so I can't go buy some after work.

I discovered a simple and stylish patisserie with a sparkling exterior in the Ginza shopping street. I ordered a simple strawberry shortcake first. The sponge cake was light and fluffy, with high-quality whipped cream that was not too sweet. And of course, fresh strawberries! It was surprisingly delicious. I want to gradually try other cakes from now on.

After shopping, I searched on Tabelog and decided on this restaurant, but I couldn't find the place at all. The navigation led me to a nearby trial, and I thought it was inside the store, but that wasn't the case at all! When I left the store, I saw the cake shop I was looking for across the alley. It's really like a Ruelle. I must have overlooked it because the neighboring retro-style cafe caught my eye. The interior of the shop is small but very clean. The staff's service is good, with a bit of a reserved attitude. Maybe they are part-time workers. There were about 10 types of cakes in the showcase and lots of baked goods by the window. I bought some cakes and immediately tried them. Mont Blanc, Strawberry Shortcake, Apricot Tart, Sweet Potato Tart, Biscuit Monde, and Delice Chocolat, a total of 6 kinds. I couldn't finish them all, so I tasted the Biscuit Monde and Apricot. The Biscuit Monde was moist with a strong chocolate flavor and a firm sponge. It didn't have a biscuit-like texture. Maybe what I ate wasn't Biscuit Monde? The Apricot was surprisingly sour, thinking it was an apple tart. But it was refreshing and delicious. Thank you for the meal.
