We went here for our wedding anniversary. It seems like the chef is doing everything by himself. The first roast beef and pear salad were delicious. I loved the texture of the thinly sliced pear and the taste of the meat. It seems like they made a different menu for us based on our preferences (allergies). For reference, the course excluded mushrooms, raw shrimp, and shellfish. I was surprised when the American dog (with shrimp inside) came out, but overall, everything was very delicious, and we had a great time. I love creative Japanese cuisine and look forward to coming back! Thank you, we will definitely visit again!

This is a top-class restaurant. The city of Kitami is famous for its yakiniku, but I want to shout out that there is such a wonderful restaurant here. "Hare no Hi Gohan Furuyama" is a place where you can feel the owner's love for food. The owner's skill brings out the deliciousness of the ingredients to the fullest, transforming them into the highest quality creative dishes. It's worth coming to Kitami just to visit this place. Courses range from 4000 yen. Reservations are required. The all-you-can-drink option is 1800 yen for 2 hours, but if you love sake, I recommend enjoying it with delicious sake by the glass rather than the all-you-can-drink option. If you're unsure about two other restaurants, I recommend fully enjoying yourself here. They also have private rooms, so you can feel safe including infection prevention measures.

This is a completely reservation-only restaurant with no menu. There are only three course options: 4000, 7000, and 10000 yen. According to the staff, the dishes are basically the same in each course, but the quality of each dish improves as you go up in price. I decided to order the 7000 yen course. I was amazed from the first dish! The Shine Muscat wrapped in ham had a refreshing taste, even better than melon. The blowfish tempura was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of salt. The vinegar pork and Sanma tataki (Sanma fish with basil sauce mixed with liver) were also outstanding. The topping of abalone, shirako, white fish, and natto was quite bold and interesting. The meal ended with fried soba noodles and a chestnut cream dessert, both of which were excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely try to visit again, despite the difficulty in making reservations. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

In September 2019, we had a meal with 5 people and reserved a course for 4,000 yen per person. Drinks were not included. The entrance of the restaurant was a bit hard to find, located in what seemed like the back or side of another store, which added to its hidden gem charm. We were excited even before entering. Our table was in a completely private room, so we couldn't see what the other seats were like. It was a spacious and relaxing space with a long table for 6 people and chairs with plenty of room for each person. The food was served one dish at a time with a creative Japanese cuisine flair. Each dish brought a sense of anticipation and excitement, making the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Everything we ate was delicious, and the overall atmosphere of dining with friends made it even better. It was a cozy and welcoming restaurant, and I would love to visit again if given the chance!

A special restaurant where you can enjoy both the taste and the appearance of the dishes.

I had been very curious after seeing another person's review. I finally decided to visit the restaurant with my family after receiving a bonus. This was my first time at this type of restaurant, so I was very excited. The menu consists of only three courses that require a reservation in advance. This time, I chose the most affordable course at 4,000 yen. The menu, which includes 8 items including dessert, is likely to vary depending on the season. The dishes I had featured seasonal ingredients such as fresh bonito and oysters. Each dish was a surprise to look at and a surprise to taste. My family and I were amazed by the flavors of each dish. I won't go into detail, but if you are interested after reading this review, please try the surprising dishes without any prior information. It was truly delicious. It has been a while since I was so impressed by a meal. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The master of Droppin opened a Japanese restaurant last December, and I finally had the chance to visit. The location is next to Izakaya Tensei, with a slightly hidden entrance. The system is reservation-only with three courses priced at 4000 yen, 7000 yen, and 10000 yen. The drink menu is separate, with a 1500 yen all-you-can-drink option available. This time, I tried the 4000 yen course and ordered drinks separately. There were a total of 9 dishes, each one delicious and surprising in its combination of ingredients. The creativity and genius behind the dishes made me appreciate the chef even more. I don't think I need to elaborate on the taste, just saying "delicious" and "fun" is enough. The standout dish for me was the thick asparagus, which was paired with truffle salt and was absolutely amazing. Each dish was a revelation, and I can't wait to see what they come up with next. I also had two beers, a highball, and a bottle of Suminoe's Junmai Ginjo. The value for money at this restaurant is unbelievable. I highly recommend trying it out for yourself and experiencing the creativity and excitement of their dishes.
