Wandering rookie curry mania / rookie ramen mania, a solitary middle-aged man. This is a memorandum-like review by an old man. If you want concise information about the restaurant and food, please move on to other people's reviews around here. Well, the 'fried rice' tour is coming to an end. This time, I visited the 'Sanhachi Restaurant Sapporo Branch' near JR "Inazumi Koen" Station, and I'm thinking of visiting only one more place. But I wonder if I will introduce recommended local shops that are not selected as a "special edition". As mentioned in the first half of the tour, it is difficult to visit places that are "open only at night" or places where fried rice is only available at night, so they are excluded. Now, I have a vague memory of visiting this place when I was in my twenties (about 40 years ago). However, I don't remember the taste of the food or the details of the cooking... Back then, my friends, both men and women, who ate a lot, used to go to various restaurants together. The girls were standard-sized beautiful women who would always finish eating without leaving anything, leaving behind the "big-eating guys" who ate enthusiastically, and they called themselves the "Inago Sisters" (laughs). If I lived with such girls, I imagined that most of my income would disappear on food expenses, but of course, I didn't say it out loud. Now, about this visit. The location is in Tomioka 1-4, Teine-ku. If you leave from the "National Road side entrance" of JR "Inazumi Koen" Station and walk about 100m in the direction of Teineyama, you will find it. Or rather, I think many people come by car because of the location. There is plenty of parking space on both sides of the restaurant building. It was forecasted to rain from around 3 pm on this day. I was planning to visit in the gap between lunchtime, but the rain started... The weather changes early at the foot of the mountain. I arrived a little after 1 pm (on Sunday), and there was already a line outside! There were also people waiting inside, about 3-4 groups of around 10 people. There were also young couples, but there were many families with small children and senior families. I waited for about 20 minutes and was guided to the waiting area near the entrance of the restaurant. When I looked back, the line outside was even longer. It's so popular! I wonder why. Maybe it's because families share several large servings of dishes and eat together, or because families can sit comfortably together in the tatami room (not a dug kotatsu). After waiting for a few minutes in the waiting area of the restaurant, I was guided to an available seat. Before that, they asked me about the type of seat I preferred. Depending on the type of available seat, the order may be delayed. So this time, the old man was the first to arrive. I made my order quickly. This day, I decided to go for a normal serving. ▼Five-ingredient fried rice, including tax, 900 yen. The dish arrived in less than 15 minutes from ordering. Oh, that's right. It was something like this. I vaguely remember. There is quite a bit of finely chopped meat in it. What is it? It doesn't seem to be char siu. Huh? There's a red part like octopus wiener. Ah, I haven't seen it recently, but there used to be a square-shaped ham with a red outer part. Or maybe it's like a ham with a red outer part. Or maybe it's a ham with a red outer part. Well, first, let's try a spoonful of the Chinese soup. Huh? Huh? It smells raw... Is it using the soup from the famous 'Hama Champon'? (A ramen with a whole squid and a lot of wakame) Hmm, I wonder if they should use different soups. Is it something that regular customers take for granted? So, let's try the 'five-ingredient fried rice' again. Ah, it's a moist, slightly oily fried rice. But it's not too sticky or slimy. Still, the fried rice part is on the softer side. Maybe the rice was cooked to be softer from the beginning. The saltiness is somewhat light to moderate.
