A few years ago, I used this restaurant a few times at Sapporo Parco and I remember it being delicious. Today, I went with my family. It's Obon season but it wasn't crowded. The chawanmushi and iced coffee were delicious. Honestly, I think the cheaper conveyor belt sushi from a major chain tastes better. The tempura oil has a strong, lingering smell and taste because it hasn't been changed frequently. The sushi is like pressed sushi. The tempura and soba dipping sauce are too bland.

I made a detour during my evening stroll and ended up at a place in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Unfortunately, the 1,000 yen evening drink set was sold out, so I went with the chef's choice of 5 dishes and pickles. I also enjoyed some Japanese sake.

I ordered the steak set meal. The meat was tender and delicious, but the doneness was not quite right. My son ordered the same menu and his steak was cooked to a nice medium, while mine was slightly rare. I wanted to try it more towards medium. I visited for lunch on a regular day. I arrived around 12:00 and had to wait a bit to be seated. Once we placed our order, the food arrived quickly. It was just the right portion size for women. Everyone around me, including myself, was a middle-aged woman! In the midst of that, I brought along my nephew who is a graduate student. Haha.

First of all, the cost performance is great! I love tare zangi, so whenever it's on the menu, I always order it. The tare zangi here is a game changer. The sauce that comes with it is like tonkatsu sauce, which is not the best, but the meat itself is fluffy, tender, and has a subtle and elegant flavor. It's similar to toriten in Oita. I ended up ordering more. Next time I come here, I will definitely order the tare zangi again. Also, surprisingly, there was a nomihoudai (all-you-can-drink) option, which was greatly appreciated by two drinking enthusiasts. This place has become a great value for money restaurant.

I recommend this place when you want to relax in a calm atmosphere. I ordered the assorted obanzai lunch set (1280 yen) which allowed me to enjoy various ingredients. Each dish had its own delicious flavor. The staff also kindly refilled my water, which I appreciated. I felt it was a good deal for a lunchtime price.

I am dining at Maruyama-ryu. The main store is in Kushiro, and they offer a wide variety of Japanese dishes. I ordered the Fukuzen set for 2700 yen. It includes sushi, sashimi, tempura, chawanmushi, grilled fish, and small side dishes for a taste of various Japanese cuisines. My daughter ordered the Super Thick Cut Steak set for 2200 yen.

The only thing that bothered me was that the staff were all in uniform, but there seemed to be a shortage of people as a person in a gray hoodie was clearing tables. I wonder if they were a manager or someone else. It was a bit strange to see someone in casual clothes doing the cleanup.

Mother and I went to Hokkaido Shrine. Still in the midst of the coronavirus, so we don't want to wander around too much. Let's just have a quick lunch and head back. We decided on the Tempura and Sushi Set for 1408 yen (tax included). Sushi, tempura, and soba. Regardless of the taste, it's a great set for those who are greedy and want to eat everything.

Maruyama Class's "Fukutei" - I have used this place a few times, but honestly, I don't have a great impression. When I saw the menu at the entrance of the store, I decided to go in. The restaurant is quite spacious, but as a solo customer, I was guided to a small table in the corner. I could see four tables for four people on the visible floor, and the previous customers were a group of seven. The order was the evening drink set for 1,680 yen, which is a bit pricey for a light drinking set. The first drink was beer, which was brought to the table in a few minutes. The set included six types of snacks, which arrived after a 7-minute wait. The snacks were neatly arranged and included simmered dishes, hijiki simmered, potato salad, scallop and flying fish roe salad, tempura, and grilled salmon, lotus root, and chicken roll. The simmered dishes were my favorite, and the hijiki simmered had a sweet and salty taste that I enjoyed the most. The potato salad was average, and the scallop and flying fish roe salad could have been better with more wasabi. The tempura was a bit disappointing, with the corn feeling out of season. However, the grilled salmon, lotus root, and chicken roll were quite good for the price, with a good amount of snacks for about three drinks. For the second drink, I had sake (I didn't ask for the brand), which cost 1,000 yen. It might be a good idea to alternate between this place and another one that offers a 1,000 yen drink.

If there is tempura and sushi, I feel like having a drink even at lunch. Glass of beer is also good for lunch because it's not crowded and has good cost performance. I will visit again.

The atmosphere was stylish. There is a sunken kotatsu and semi-private rooms, so children can feel safe. They also have a kids' lunch menu. The taste was average, nothing particularly delicious stood out. It's reassuring that you can make a reservation for a seat.

The presentation is beautiful and the timing of serving the food is good. The steak in particular was delicious. It was a banquet, and while many places serve dishes on large plates for guests to serve themselves, it was nice that they individually plated each portion for us.

After visiting Hokkaido Shrine for hatsumode (first shrine visit of the year), we stopped by this restaurant for lunch, which is conveniently located right next to the station. It's a decent place with a good variety of dishes, especially for those looking to have some Japanese cuisine. Upon further research, it seems like this is a chain restaurant specializing in Japanese food. The menu mainly consists of set meals, and the prices for alcohol are reasonable. They had a special New Year's set meal for 1680 yen, which included steak, sashimi, tempura, and more. The taste was average, neither outstanding nor disappointing. If you're looking for a good Japanese chain restaurant, I would recommend Ainya by Skylark over this place. We were able to get a private tatami room without a reservation, which was very convenient.

There was miso soup with wheat gluten, chawanmushi with bamboo shoots and kamaboko, a salad with a few slices of prosciutto, cabbage, and lettuce with dressing, sashimi with fresh shrimp and yellowtail, as well as simmered dishes, tamagoyaki, and seaweed. There was nothing particularly memorable, but it's a good place to go when you want Japanese food. Many elderly customers create a quiet and calm atmosphere for dining. Thank you for the meal.

Located in Enya Class directly connected to Maruyama Koen Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Tozai Line. On the third floor of this building, there are many dining options available. Recommended menu items are displayed at the entrance. Upon entering, I was guided to the left side. Looking around, there were about eight table seats. In addition, there seemed to be more seating, including a sunken kotatsu area. I glanced at the table menu, but decided to go with the "seafood bowl set" that was displayed at the entrance. I chose the warm soba for the set. It was brought to me in about five minutes, quite fast. The seafood bowl ingredients included squid, tuna, salmon, shrimp, scallops, salmon roe, flying fish roe, egg, and negitoro. The variety of ingredients made for a colorful presentation. There were also pickled ginger and wasabi on top of the bowl. I took some wasabi, mixed it with a small amount of soy sauce, and drizzled it over the ingredients. The vinegar rice had a nice flavor to it. I was quite hungry, so I finished it in no time. The soba was soft in texture. Overall, it had a gentle and pleasant taste. The seafood bowl set cost 1,150 yen (excluding tax). I thought it would be easier to understand if the price was displayed including tax.٩( ᐛ )و

Recently, I have had the opportunity to spend about an hour at Fukutei Kaitairou Maruyama during weekend lunchtime, as I often visit Maruyama Sushi. Since I have been to Fukutei before and have seen reviews from others, I had a rough idea of what to expect. However, there was a menu item that I wanted to try. The must-eat specialty! Seafood rolled sushi "Kushiro Maki"! This specialty Kushiro Maki is highly recommended, but I was curious to see if it lives up to its reputation. The Kushiro Maki included seven ingredients: sea urchin, salmon, scallop, tuna, egg, squid, and cucumber. The sea urchin was not the usual creamy texture but rather a solid form, and it seemed like squid was used instead of the usual crab due to availability. Is this how it is supposed to be? This must-eat specialty turned out to be just an ordinary rolled sushi. I did not feel the dedication to the specialty as expected. The miso soup had an instant feel, and the Wakame seaweed was a bit tough... The iced coffee had a foamy texture that did not seem as creamy as expected, but when I tasted it, it was just like any other iced coffee. These days, when I feel too lazy to go anywhere, a young person who used to be a business contact (though they're actually younger than me, around 40 years old) told me that their insurance covered the removal of their polyp, so they wanted to treat me to a meal. I felt a bit awkward since they were younger, but they insisted, so I accepted their offer. We went to a busy restaurant called Maruyama Class, and I ordered tempura soba because I was craving it. The person treating me suggested I order something heartier, but I really wanted the tempura soba. However, the tempura was served separately, not on top of the soba as I had imagined. The flavors were a bit mild for my taste, even the chawanmushi they ordered was bland. The only thing that exceeded my expectations was the coffee. If you want a place to have a leisurely conversation, the semi-private rooms here might be a good choice.

Fukutei is a restaurant with its main branch in Kushiro and several branches in Sapporo. I visited the one in Sapporo's Chuo Ward, located on the 3rd floor of the stylish Maruyama Class commercial facility around 2 p.m. on a weekday. We were seated at a table and ordered the recommended "Colorful Set" from the lunch menu, along with cold lunch drinks like "Orange Squash." The food arrived in about 6 minutes and included a variety of dishes such as sashimi, simmered vegetables, salad, tempura, miso soup, rice, and dessert. The quality was decent, and the variety of dishes for the price of 1380 yen was satisfying. The only downside was the noisy children running around the hallway, with their mothers not intervening. Overall, it was a menu worth revisiting, despite the disruptive atmosphere caused by the children. Thank you for the meal.
