In June 2023, I was in the mood to eat lots of pasta, so after work, I went with a friend to "Menya Pasta Bakaichidai" for the first time in about 6 years. We arrived around 6:15 pm and sat at the counter. I chose the appetizer assortment set with the option to choose wine, so I started with a glass of white wine. The set included 4 appetizers and a mini Caesar salad. The price was great considering it came with a glass of wine. We opted for the hospitality course which allowed us to enjoy three different pasta dishes, and we also ordered two additional pasta dishes. The pasta was delicious with great combinations of ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the Taliolini with confit ayu and Hoshigaki chili, the Nyokki with truffles, and the Tagliatelle Bolognese with smoked cheese. Each dish was impressive and made me want to eat more and more. I also tried the cold Carbonara with truffles and onsen egg, which was also on my list. Overall, everything was delicious! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I had been interested in the restaurant "Men Shou Pasta Baka Ichidai" in Yotsuhashi that had been featured on TV for a while, so I visited for lunch for the first time on a Sunday. The restaurant was full during lunchtime, so I wrote my name on the waiting list board and waited for about 30 minutes at a nearby cafe until they contacted me. They had a variety of pasta dishes available, and I highly recommend choosing from the four recommended options. My partner and I ordered different pasta dishes to share: Eel and Cucumber Cold Capellini for myself and Truffle and Warm Egg Cold Carbonara for my partner. The Capellini had plenty of flavorful eel and paired well with the refreshing cucumber, making it incredibly delicious and easy to finish quickly. The Carbonara, which my partner shared with me, was rich but still refreshing due to being served cold, creating a nice contrast with the Capellini. Both dishes were extremely delicious. As we left the restaurant, we saw that there were still customers waiting outside - it's no wonder this popular restaurant has been selected as one of the top 100 in the past!

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is calm. Around 11:30 am on a weekday, there were no waiting customers. I ordered the "Luxurious Pescaatore Tagliolini with Omare Shrimp and Ink" and the "Cold Carbonara with Truffles and Warm Egg," along with a salad set. The salad set included Caesar salad, onion quiche, and vichyssoise, all of which were delicious. The set also came with a drink, and I chose straight tea. The pasta with Omare shrimp was tasty with generous amounts of seafood, but it didn't quite reach the level of being worth its price. The cold truffle carbonara was also delicious, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. I would like to try other pasta dishes as well due to the variety offered.

This is my favorite restaurant where I can enjoy delicious pasta for lunch. Whenever I feel like having pasta, I usually come here. The lunch time is long, so it's very convenient. Today, I had my favorite cold carbonara and tomato sauce pasta. It's really appreciated when they serve the pasta already divided for sharing. I usually crave pasta around lunch time, so it's great to have a variety of pasta options for lunch. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in the mood for pasta.

I thought it was a casual pasta restaurant based on the impactful name and logo, but it turned out to be completely different in a good way. The homemade Bolognese at the fresh pasta shop, Talleria, was ¥1,650. I had imagined fresh pasta to be chewy, but it was thin and flat with a texture similar to kishimen noodles. The sauce was minimal in seasoning but had a professional taste that brought out the flavors of the ingredients. Even though it wasn't very meaty, you could still taste the meat well, and the addition of lotus root in the Bolognese was a unique and delicious touch. The restaurant had a slightly higher price range, giving off an Italian restaurant vibe. I feel like the satisfaction would be higher in the evening rather than at lunch, so I would like to come back at night if I have the chance.

On the first day of the Bon holiday, I woke up leisurely and asked my son what he wanted to eat, and he said pasta. It was our first visit to this place nearby that we had never been to before. For the pasta lunch, you can choose your favorite pasta and either an appetizer or a dessert platter, along with bread and a soft drink. I chose carbonara with an appetizer and iced coffee. I really wanted to share and enjoy various flavors, but my son and husband refused. They wanted to enjoy one flavor each by themselves. I like to try different flavors little by little. I want to go back again.

I made a bold reservation at Yotsuhashi's Italian restaurant on a weekday, and it was not crowded as the lunch prices are a bit high. I had the Tagliolini with mugwort and ayu confit, and enjoyed three red wines from DOC Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. The food was easy to eat and the wine was easy to drink, and it disappeared in no time.

I finally decided to try out the pasta restaurant that I had been curious about. I went with a colleague and we ordered the eel with spicy chili tomato sauce pasta and the carbonara. The tomato sauce pasta was made with fresh noodles, while the carbonara was made with dried noodles. The restaurant seemed to take pride in their noodles, so I had slightly high expectations, but the dishes were actually quite delicious. The quiche appetizer was also very tasty. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn't working well, so the dessert ice cream started to melt and we ended up sweating while finishing our meal. I will avoid going during the hot season and visit again when it's cooler. Thank you for the meal.

I have always wanted to go to Pasta Bakayaro, and I finally had the chance to visit. The restaurant is not very spacious, so it might be difficult to have lunch without a reservation. As for the taste, the flat pasta had a chewy texture and was very delicious. The cream sauce was not too heavy, so I could enjoy it until the end without getting tired of it. When I first saw the portion, I thought it might be small, but it came with two slices of focaccia, so I ended up feeling full by the time I finished eating. Also, the onion quiche that came as an appetizer was surprisingly delicious, so if you eat pasta here, you should definitely order the pasta set that includes an appetizer.

When we were asked if we wanted to share our pasta dishes, we agreed and thought we would get two types of pasta on one plate. However, each of us received our own plate of pasta, and we were pleasantly surprised when the second plate arrived after we finished the first one. We were happy to be able to try two different kinds of pasta, and both dishes were delicious.

I chose the cold carbonara from the many menu options on the blackboard! It was super delicious! The onion quiche for the appetizer was also delicious. Quiche seems to be a recommended dish at the restaurant, and you can even order it for takeout if you reserve a few days in advance. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The appetizer set had good cost performance. The appetizer soup and quiche were delicious. We were able to easily accommodate a group of 6 on the day. There were various types of pasta available, ranging from around 2,000 yen to just over 3,000 yen.

Today, I received a message from a friend saying "I want to eat pasta" and we quickly made a reservation at "Menya Pasta Baka Ichidai" in Nishi-ku, Osaka City. We met at Yotsubashi Station on the Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line after work, stopped by a bakery, and arrived at the restaurant right on time at 6:15 PM. We sat at the counter and ordered the following: - Assorted appetizers set: 800 yen - Hospitality course: 3000 yen - Luxurious Pescaatore with lobster: 3100 yen - Tagliatelle Bolognese: 1650 yen The appetizer set was a great deal with 4 appetizers and a drink included. We each chose a drink and toasted before starting our pasta meal. The pasta dishes were all delicious, especially the luxurious Pescaatore with lobster which was rich and flavorful. After enjoying the 5 pasta dishes, we were full and satisfied. We decided to revisit for lunch next time. On the way back, we walked to Hommachi Station on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line and transferred to the Sakaisuji Line at Tanimachi Yonchome Station to head home. It was a great dining experience.

The restaurant is spacious inside. It's a popular place so it's hard to relax and take your time. This time, I chose a summer-like pasta! I tried it for the first time, it's new!! (photo reference) Overall, it has a refreshing taste, so even if you're feeling sluggish in the summer heat, you can still enjoy it. The eel cut into bite-sized pieces is soft and delicious. You can order just the pasta or go for the lunch course!

On this day, after work, I decided to have dinner at "Men's Chef Pasta Baka Ichidai" in Shinsaibashi before heading home. I arrived at the restaurant around 7:30 PM on Saturday, and it was about 60% full. I was able to be seated without waiting. I ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara made with "Japan's most dedicated eggs" and a dessert set. It took about 10 minutes from ordering to serving. The pasta, with its rich egg and cheese sauce, was delicious. The right amount of saltiness and the spiciness of black pepper added a nice accent to the dish. While I was eating, they also served focaccia, which had a simple flavor but was perfect for dipping in the leftover sauce. After the meal, a dessert set and tea were served. The dessert set had a variety of treats, including vanilla ice cream, pudding, chiffon cake, and gateau chocolat. The gateau chocolat is not shown in the photo, but it's behind the chiffon cake. Each dessert was rich and satisfying, and for the price of 600 yen, it was a great deal. Thank you for the meal.

Pasta Bakadai is probably my fourth visit. I will post past photos if I have them. It is an Italian restaurant with pasta as the main dish. The atmosphere is great, so I often choose it for meals with my partner. This time I had the Bolognese. We ordered the appetizer set and dessert set to share since there were two of us. My impression of the Bolognese is not that great because I personally prefer it with coarse ground meat, but this one had minced meat. Also, it had lotus root as an accent. I recommend the appetizer set. It includes quiche, soup, vegetables and focaccia (with free refills), and a drink, which is really good. The custard pudding in the dessert set is also of high quality, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Just a tip, it's better to make a reservation on weekends.

The reason I wanted to go there is because I had heard rumors about it from my previous workplace. Also, the name "Pasta Baka Ichidai" caught my attention - I couldn't help but wonder if it was in response to "Karate Baka Ichidai" (a famous manga). So, for these reasons, I really wanted to visit the restaurant. My wish came true and I finally went. I originally wanted to try the "Various Pasta Course" (sorry, I completely forgot the name), where different pasta dishes are served as a course. However, it turns out that it requires a minimum of 2 people. That's a bit disappointing... So, I ended up ordering the eternal favorite, "Carbonara." It was delicious, but at my age, Carbonara was a bit heavy (laughs). Next time, I will challenge a different menu. Thank you for the meal.

I came to my favorite pasta restaurant in Kansai. Nowadays, there is a lot of media exposure and high-priced menus, but I like to savor the simplicity of pasta, so this time I ordered Carbonara with conger eel and Tomato Sauce Vongole with Shishito peppers. The Carbonara, where you can really taste the cheese, was delicious, and the Vongole was consistently good, but the conger eel and Shishito peppers were a big hit this time! The thinly rolled flat noodles were really delicious! The way the sauce was served was irresistibly good. I was able to meet a wonderful pasta dish~
