Visited the popular ramen shop "Igi" in Nakatsu. Although ramen shops are often quiet at night, "Igi" seems to have a constant line even in the evening. The rich tsukemen (dipping noodles) for ¥1000 comes with a free large serving, which is a nice touch. The noodles are thick straight noodles that are slightly firm with a good chew and a hint of wheat sweetness. The dipping sauce is quite rich, with a balanced umami flavor of pork bone and seafood without any unpleasant smell, and not too salty. The thickness of the sauce is really something... It might be the thickest in Osaka. Comparing to Kyoto, it's above "Takei" but below "Gokkei." It's on a different level than "Tenkaippin." The rich flavor is irresistible for those who love it. It was delicious! However, the only downside is that the dipping sauce is too rich, so if you get a large serving of noodles, you might run out of sauce. Of course, you can't do soup-wari (diluting the sauce with broth) or have extra rice. Well, it's a happy dilemma, haha. I was very satisfied. Will definitely come back!

Tonkotsu Gyokai Ramen 980 yen
Half Chanpon (legendary) 370 yen
After a long time, I had a rich and creamy fish broth ramen. The soup clung to the noodles... by the time I finished the noodles, the soup was gone too. As a side dish, I had the Half Chanpon, which is said to be legendary. It was also delicious with a strong flavor. I'm full!

I visited the restaurant on a weekday night. I ordered the "Oyodo Black" ramen (980 yen) and a "half fried rice" (370 yen) from the ticket machine. There were a few customers before me, and later, three more people arrived. There were four staff members, but for some reason, my ramen was served first before they started making the fried rice. I had to wait for the fried rice to be ready, so I ate the ramen slowly. I wasn't sure about the system they were using. I was worried that if the fried rice wasn't good, what would I do. However, the fried rice turned out to be quite delicious. The ramen was similar to the Takaida style, which I like, so it was delicious as well. I will try the tsukemen next time. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant around 1 PM on a weekday. The place was full with a few people waiting, but I was lucky and got in after a short wait. The first time I tried their ramen, I was really impressed by its rich flavor, but this time I felt a slight sourness, not as strong as the first time, but still delicious. This was my fourth visit, and I'm thinking of trying a different menu next time, but I have a feeling I might end up ordering the pork bone seafood ramen again...

I visited a popular ramen shop in Nakanoshu, Osaka for the first time! I arrived at 6:30 pm on a Sunday and there were 3 people waiting outside. The shop had a cozy atmosphere with seats close to the kitchen and good ventilation. I ordered the miso ramen, which had thick miso sauce that coated the medium-thick curly noodles perfectly. It was delicious!

I ordered both ramen and tsukemen. The line was long, but once inside, I realized that the counter was spacious and there were tables in the back. The service was good with friendly staff, but the food took a long time to be served even though you have to buy a food ticket first. The tsukemen was served before the ramen, and the soup mixing experience was a bit disappointing. The tsukemen is recommended to be eaten quickly to keep it hot. Good service is important.

I ordered ramen and pork chashu rice bowl. It was delicious. The noodles were not too thick and easy to eat, but the soup was quite intense, which created a nice contrast. The only downside was that it was a bit far from Nakatsu Station or Osaka Station, and the price was a little high.

The explanation was that the restaurant is not on par with the gourmet king Imai, but despite that, the rich tsukemen was delicious. However, as the soup cooled down, it didn't taste as good, so I ended up leaving some noodles and soup. Rich tsukemen special 1400, Chashu fried rice 1000, extra green onions 100. Good points: Delicious rich tsukemen. Bad points: Chashu fried rice was not tasty. Not a good value for the price.

I have used this restaurant many times because it's near my house. They have various types of ramen, and every time I go, I try different ones, but in the end, I like the pork bone and seafood ramen the most. You can't go wrong with the pork bone and seafood ramen and the legendary fried rice. I will continue to use this restaurant in the future.

It's been a while since I visited. The rich seafood soup with noodles was delicious! This time I ordered 300 grams, but it was so rich that the soup ran out in the middle, a little accident. I go about three times a week and never get tired of it. Haha, I'll go again. Next time, I'll try something other than tsukemen.

The miso ramen lover in me exploded, and I finally tried the miso ramen I had been wanting to try. The soup was rich, with toppings like meat miso, green onions, and bean sprouts perfectly balanced. I enjoyed it with extra spice and garlic, enhancing the flavors even more. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

Order: Special Pork Bone Seafood Ramen, Char-grilled Pork Bowl
I entered the restaurant around 7 pm on Sunday. It was almost full, but it didn't get to the point where people had to wait. Maybe I just had bad timing, but it took about 15 minutes to get my order. The ramen came first, and the char-grilled pork bowl came about 3 minutes later, which was a bit disappointing. The ramen was thick and reminded me of the richness of Tenkaippin. The seafood flavor was strong and delicious. The noodles were straight and thin, which paired well with the soup. They stuck together so well that by the time I finished eating, more than half of the noodles were gone. The char-grilled pork bowl had plenty of pork pieces and was very satisfying for the price. The fried rice that the person next to me was eating looked so delicious that I definitely want to try it next time.

If you think of it more as seafood rather than pork bone, it's better. I personally like pork bone, so I found it a bit lacking, but if you prefer seafood with a hint of pork bone, it's just right. It's rich but not too greasy, which is nice. The rumored fried rice wasn't exactly legendary, but it's definitely better than the fried rice at your average ramen shop. Depending on your taste, some people may find it really delicious, so it's worth coming to try it out.

Pork bone and fish broth ramen with flavored egg for 1100 yen, plus half portion of fried rice for 370 yen. Arrived at 10:58 AM and got the first seating. The person who arrives first gets a special bowl and spoon. Enjoyed the meal with a mix of embarrassment and deliciousness. The bamboo shoots, flavored egg, and pork slices were tasty. The noodles were thin. The soup was rich but not too sweet, with a refreshing taste. The half portion of fried rice was also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

- Rich tsukemen (large) ¥1,080
- Phantom fried rice ¥620
Ohhh, the prices keep going up! It's understandable since they pursue deliciousness at a reasonable price, but the cost of ingredients is rising. Well, I was planning to eat heartily because I was hungry, so I'll eat well and regain my energy! The dipping sauce and chashu have gotten smaller, but the flavor is still there. The noodles are smooth and chewy. The fried rice still tastes as good as ever. Hmm, it's a festival of carbohydrates! Recharging with plenty of energy! I don't need anything for a while...! Whenever I come near this ramen shop, I feel like eating. I have to go home blindfolded... Lilou and Happy, thank you for the meal!

This popular restaurant is always busy with customers coming in one after another. The interior is beautiful and the food is carefully prepared. The shio ramen is incredibly delicious! I had the rich soup ramen, with thin straight noodles. It has a nice seafood aroma. There are both counter and table seating available. I'm looking forward to trying the tsukemen next time.

I arrived at the restaurant early as usual, but I had to wait. It seems to be quite popular here. Before waiting, I decided on my order using the ticket machine inside the store. I chose the tsukemen, which I haven't tried before. This might be the last menu item for me to try here. The noodles come in medium or large size for the same price. Since I was dining alone, I didn't have to wait long. I was seated at the counter and waited. Oh, they removed the COVID-19 barriers, so the place feels more spacious now. It took some time for the noodles to cook, but maybe because I already decided on my order, they arrived relatively quickly. The noodles were served in a full bowl. The dipping sauce was confusing, as it seemed both hot and cold at the same time. The soup was thick and had a light seafood flavor. It was surprisingly delicious. I finished the large portion of noodles quickly. I also ordered pickled vegetables with rice, so I left the restaurant feeling quite satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I purchased a pre-sale ticket for 100 yen that I could use on the anniversary date of my visit, and on the 8th anniversary of the main store on May 18, 2023, I ordered the Ooyodo Black. The first bite had a sour taste, and my initial impression was that it was similar to Takaida style ramen. There was a lot of black pepper sprinkled from the beginning, making it quite spicy. Additionally, there was back fat on top, so it had a unique taste beyond the regular black ramen. It can be described as distinctive, but I felt that it was well put together. Preferences may vary, but I personally liked the taste. The noodles are flat and thick, different from the thick Takaida noodles, but they have a satisfying texture, and I prefer them over the thin noodles from the previous tonkotsu ramen I had. The thick soup is dyed, but due to its thickness, it feels a bit powdery, which I didn't quite like. The chashu was softer than before. I prefer it to be juicier. There was one piece of bamboo shoot. The abundance of green onions is characteristic and goes well with this soup. I preferred it over the basic menu item, the tonkotsu seafood ramen, from my previous visit. I was surprised by the completely different taste.

The broth was thick and full of seafood flavor, making it suitable for dipping noodles as well. I prefer a lighter broth with less seafood flavor. I want to fully enjoy the rich pork bone essence. There were garlic, chili pepper, and vinegar on the table for flavoring. The noodles were thin and had a good chew, but it was hard to taste them due to the strong soup. The chashu was large and I prefer it to be more tender. There were two pieces of bamboo shoots, as well as white and green onions as garnish, making the presentation beautiful. The interior was like a cafeteria, and they even gave me a candy as I left. The service was excellent, with the staff seeing me off to the door. Thank you very much.

This is my first visit based on a friend's recommendation. We arrived early for lunch and there was a line outside the restaurant... but we were seated within 5 minutes. I ordered the special Tonkotsu seafood ramen at the ticket machine next to the entrance. It was a bit pricey, but I was excited to try it. The food arrived after a short wait. The bowl was covered with slices of chashu pork, hiding the noodles underneath. The soup was delicious, with a nice balance of pork bone and seafood flavors. The chashu pork was satisfyingly tender. I felt like having rice, but I resisted the temptation. The soup had a thick texture, but it wasn't as heavy as I expected, which I personally liked. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
