Asahikawa has a castle. There are two that I know of. Many people think there are no castles in Hokkaido, but if you look around Asahikawa, there are quite a few. Simply put, it's a castle. The closest castle is Koizushi, which stands out. This building is a castle. But the lord is not a samurai... it doesn't seem that way. And it's unclear if you can go up to the main tower... Inside, there are swimming carp. When you enter, there is a bridge. Underneath, there are swimming carp. It's Koizushi after all, so there have to be swimming carp. By the way, Koizushi... was not on the menu. Cold noodle fair. On this day, it was a lunch meeting. I was told I could eat whatever I wanted... but the lunch prices were quite high. However, since I had the chance, I decided to order what I wanted. Summer recommendations. The summer recommendations look good. The Hokuto pork cutlet looks delicious. Should I have the cutlet... well, I can get that elsewhere. Since I have the chance, tempura, zangi, and rice... Hmm, maybe that's not the right order for today. I'm torn... Sushi lunch. Should I order this, or is the sushi lunch the right choice?? The lunch sushi is 1200 yen, while the assorted seafood bowl is 1000 yen. Hmm, but it's limited to ten servings, so I'm not sure if they still have it. Should I go for the set meal. Soba sushi tempura set... or should I go all out and get the sushi set... But the tonkatsu looks really good... Let's listen to what others are ordering and think about it. One of the companions ordered an eel bowl. The other ordered the sushi set... So, I decided to go for the eel and conger eel combo. The eel and conger eel are evenly split. First, the conger eel... a bit firm. There were some small bones. But that's how conger eel is. But boiled conger eel is softer and tastier. And the eel... slightly firm. A bit tough. It lacked a juicy feel... I got confused halfway through about which was which. It's a shame that the eel wasn't as good as it could have been... (ノД`)シクシク... Cold buckwheat noodles set. It wasn't part of the set, but they said I could add the small size, so I ordered the cold buckwheat noodles as well. They served it with chopped myoga as a condiment. The noodles and wheat had ice in them, so they were cold. The dipping sauce was strong in soy sauce. The soy sauce was a bit strong. But as you eat, it dilutes with the water, so maybe it's just right. My thoughts on the cold buckwheat noodles... it's cold buckwheat noodles. It's slightly thicker than somen, so it had a good texture. In the summer, these refreshing dishes are the best. After the meal, they also served coffee. It's hard to fully savor the meal in a good restaurant during a lunch meeting. But it was nice to be able to go to Koizushi after a long time. Thank you for the meal. ⇒ ◆It might not be the type that is steamed and then grilled◆
