I visited the 4th-anniversary course at Okashiya Ucchi on Kitamichido. This time, I had the privilege of sitting in a regular customer's seat. Thank you for the valuable seat. It was wonderful as always. I won't go into detail about the menu since others have reviewed it, but there are always surprises and new discoveries. Ucchi values its connection with producers and maximizes the goodness of the ingredients in its desserts. I also had the milk with caviar as an addition, and it was amazing! The perfect balance between the salty taste of caviar and the sweetness of the whipped cream. It was incredible. I think it's best to enjoy it freshly made in the best condition! Looking forward to more in the future!

I pre-ordered takeout a week in advance for a seasonal fruit (peach) milk cake (size 4) priced at 5200 yen. Depending on the availability of peaches or grapes during this season. The cake had a light yet rich taste, with a mild sweetness that was irresistible. The cream was moist, the sponge cake had a strong egg flavor, and the soft, sweet peaches were fantastic. The cookie on the plate was also mildly sweet, with a strong wheat flavor and a moist texture. I would like to repeat this experience when the fruit changes. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I went to the 4th-anniversary celebration of my favorite sweets shop, Okashiya Ucchi. On this day, they offered a fixed course menu for the anniversary festival. As an option, you could add caviar and truffles to the milk. I tried adding caviar to the milk, and it was amazing. The gentle sweetness of the cream combined with the saltiness of the caviar was delicious. It felt like Ucchi-san was able to do what he wanted on this day. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I was invited for the first time to eat in and attend the anniversary event. I had a delicious and interesting time. I enjoyed rhubarb juice, rose and peach ice cream meringue, cream, ossetra caviar milk, normal, caviar rice sweets, red bean, chunky red bean jelly, white fig tart, chocolate castella, and chili meringue. Also, I had August beer and white iced coffee.

When looking at Tabelog, it seems that reservations are required. I called at 12 o'clock and was able to get through. I mentioned that I saw their listing on Tabelog and wanted to make a reservation, but was informed that they were currently having a 4th-anniversary event and all reservations for the anniversary dine-in were already full. They are offering course meals during this anniversary period, but for takeout, they only have a set of cakes and cookies called "Milk." Since the cakes were the quickest option available, I made a reservation to pick them up the next day at noon. The shop was located less than a 5-minute walk from Kitasando Station. The "Milk" cake cost ¥2,800, with an additional fee for the bag. Despite the cool weather due to a typhoon, I was advised that the cakes were sensitive to melting, so I hurried home with them and put them in the fridge. Unfortunately, I accidentally dropped the box when taking it out of the fridge later, causing some damage. However, the taste was delicious, with a luxurious milky flavor and a soft, melty sponge inside. The staff was warm and kind from the phone reservation to the in-store purchase, and I appreciated their hospitality. The shop, selected as one of the top 100 sweet shops despite being in their 4th year, is truly impressive. "Okashiya Ucchi" is such a cute name for the shop owner.

I went to Ucchi's special course for the 4th anniversary! This marks the beginning of the 5th year! There is no decline or arrogance, just continuous improvement and daily excellent training! Today, I enjoyed it with a lady from Nagoya! Yay ⭐︎
- Rhubarb Juice: Refreshing and light, perfect for the lingering summer heat.
- Rose and Peach Parfait: A blend of rose and peach flavors that are vibrant and creamy, with a satisfying taste.
- Milk: High-quality cream from Kyushu that is rich and delicious, not overpowering.
- Re-Ore: A sweet rice pudding-like dessert with a smooth and flavorful texture.
- Shiso Jelly: Refreshing and sweet, with a smooth jelly texture.
- White Fig Tart: Melts in your mouth with a perfect balance of sweetness and nuttiness.
- Chocolate Castella with Chili Meringue: Incredibly moist and fluffy with a rich chocolate flavor and a hint of chili that complements well.
- It's amazing how everything comes together so well at Ucchi's. I will continue to follow along for another year!

I was able to visit during the happy timing of the 4th anniversary of my beloved Ucchii-san. Thank you always, Hanadan-chan! I was excited even on the Shinkansen heading from Nagoya. 4th Anniversary Course 11,000 yen (tax included) ☆ Rubam's juice with carbonation ☆ Rose ice cream and peach with peach sauce ☆ Milk ☆ Ri-Ore ☆ Shiso jelly ☆ White fig (Chiba) tart ☆ Chocolate castella with chili meringue Ah~ It's incredibly delicious as always! My favorite sweets! The combination of rose ice cream and peach is wonderful! My absolute favorite milk has been upgraded this time! Changing from Hokkaido to Kyushu cream has increased the richness, but the aftertaste is refreshing. Ucchii-san is truly a genius. The Ri-Ore with whole bean paste is the most delicious I've ever had! Each grain of rice stands out. The shiso jelly has a transparent deliciousness without any off-flavors. Ucchii-san's tart is also the best! Of course! My best-ever white fig - incredibly sweet and delicious. The chocolate castella is made from rare cocoa, I may not understand it, but I know it's delicious. Congratulations on your 4th anniversary, Ucchii-san. Thank you always, Hanadan-chan! I'm looking forward to the next time too!

In its fourth year this month and entering its fifth year, Okashiya Ucchi offers a unique approach to anniversary sweets. Particularly interesting was the caviar milk and rose and peach parfait. The caviar milk, available as an optional addition, stood out among the various milk flavors, rivaling the red bean milk and vanilla milk, making it the pinnacle of Okashiya Ucchi's milk offerings (all without using fruits). The caviar is carefully selected, but the star is truly the milk cream. The saltiness and flavor of the caviar balance out the sweetness and fat content of the cream. The rose and peach parfait features the same variety of rose used in the anniversary menu two years ago, but this time paired with peach to showcase the presence of the rose. The subtly excellent black letter jelly is worthy of becoming a product. Owner Ucchi looks forward to visiting producers and discovering new ingredients to further elevate the offerings in their fifth year. I will definitely be back to try them out.

I tend to be lazy about updating my food log. I actually go to restaurants more often than I write about. This time, I went for the 4th-anniversary course. Last year, the one-hour time limit for the anniversary course was tough, so this year I extended it to an hour and a half. But I didn't reduce the number of dishes, so my working hours ended up longer. The course included: Rhubarb Juice - a refreshing drink made by extracting only the essence of rhubarb and mixing it with carbonated water. Shimane-grown Sato Nishiki and Apple Rose Ice Cream - a delicious ice cream with the fragrance of Sato Nishiki and the fruity taste of Apple Rose. Milk - made with cream from Kyushu instead of the usual Hokkaido cream, it is rich but doesn't leave a heavy aftertaste. Riore and Beni Kitsu - a unique preparation method where the rice is cooked in an earthenware pot before being mixed with milk, resulting in a flavorful and delicious dish. Crocodile Jelly - a jelly made by dripping crocodile tea leaves and using agar instead of gelatin, giving it a great texture. Plum Tart - a tart made with Santa Rosa plums and plum jam, with a custard and tart crust that perfectly balances sweetness and acidity. Chocolate Castella and Chili Meringue - a fluffy chocolate castella with a chili meringue that adds a spicy kick. Pu-erh Tea - a type of tea served as part of the course. Truffle Butter Cookies from OKASHIYA - a salty treat to enjoy as a souvenir, with a strong truffle aroma and a deliciously salty flavor. Overall, the 4th-anniversary course was just the right balance of volume and composition. Congratulations on your 4th anniversary! Looking forward to visiting again!

Information:

I've been coming here for about 3 years now.

- Caviar dish
- Milk (with caviar)
- Shiso jelly
- White fig tart
- Towa nashi and red bean
- Chocolate castella

This time, I had the white fig tart. White figs have a thinner skin and higher sugar content compared to regular figs. They have less acidity and a rich, sticky sweetness. I had the tart made with fresh figs that arrived on the day. It was amazing.
Milk (with caviar): The combination of caviar's saltiness and cream's sweetness is a perfect match. It makes you want to drink wine!
Congratulations on your 4th anniversary! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I was invited to Ucchy for the first time, and it was a dream come true. The cute little window connected to the kitchen in front of the 4-seater half-round table created a happy and adorable space. I was surprised at first when I saw the cake meant for one person, but it was so delicious and not too sweet that I ended up finishing it in no time! It was probably the best whipped cream I've ever had. The rice and red bean sweet and the fig tart were also amazing. I indulged in a sweet paradise. The tart was light, crispy, and fragrant. I hope they offer it with other fruits someday. The truffle cookies I got as a souvenir were also delicious, so I enjoyed savoring them for a while. I definitely want to visit this place again.

Located a 5-minute walk from Kitazando Station, "Okashiya Ucchi" offers a 4th-anniversary course for ¥11,000. The course includes:
- Rhubarb juice
- Shimane Saki Hime and Apple Rose sherbet with Yamanashi Asama White Peach soup
- Milk

- Chocolate castella with chili meringue

The course starts with rhubarb juice, which is a refreshing drink with a hint of aroma when mixed with carbonated water. The Kochi Towa Nishiki and milk confection, reminiscent of ohagi, is a delightful surprise. The matcha jelly has a strong coffee-like aroma at first but dissipates quickly. The Oishi Hayase tart made with plum is a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. The chocolate castella, made without dairy, is followed by a subtle spiciness from the chili meringue. The course ends with Pu'er tea, allowing guests to relax and savor the experience. Overall, the course offers a unique dining experience that showcases the essence of Okashiya Ucchi.

I am very happy to be able to visit during the 4th anniversary course period. It was amazing! From the rhubarb-scented sparkling water to the cocoa castella, the flow of the course was flawless and impressive.
Items consumed in the Standard Course for 11,000 yen:
- Rhubarb-scented sparkling water: The parfait with Asama white peach, Purple Rose, and Saki's ice cream with peach and rose scents maximized the peach aroma beautifully.
- Milk: Plain milk allows you to fully appreciate the charm of milk. The blend of Kyushu cream gives it a light, frothy feel and a rich milk scent.
- Fragrant rice Riole: Different from regular Riole, this dish features fragrant rice cooked in an earthen pot, mixed with milk, and combined with sweet bean paste. The main focus is on the sweetness, aroma, and texture of the rice, complemented by the subtle milk scent.
- Melon seed jelly: Made from fully ripened Jolie melon seeds from Hokkaido, this jelly captures the unique melon aroma wonderfully.
- Oishi plum tart: A tart with ripe Oishi plums offering a juicy sweetness and a contrast of sweet and sour flavors from the skin jam. The tart crust with a pleasant aroma adds to the simple yet superb quality of the tart.
- Cocoa castella and chili meringue: A light and moist castella with a strong cocoa aroma, accompanied by a dairy-free chocolate custard. The chili meringue provides a crispy texture with a hint of spiciness.
- Truffle cookie souvenir: A cookie with an incredible aroma, combining a fragrant, buttery scent with truffle aroma and a perfect touch of saltiness.

✔️ Bonyu, Yoroidzuka, and Ikouan are all restaurants where the person who wrote this review has visited. The way they use ingredients and their creativity is amazing! Every time they visit, they are surprised and have a lot of fun, and they love it. This time, they were lucky to try the 4th-anniversary course, which made them very happy. Here are some spoilers for those who want to know in advance. All the dishes were really delicious, and there were some items that they had never tried before. Although there were many dishes, the portion sizes were just right, making them feel like they could still eat more. They had rhubarb juice, which was sparkling instead of jam, and it had a very fragrant and delicious taste. They also had milk ice cream, which they had not had in a while. The anniversary course also had a caviar and black truffle version, which was made with cream from Kyushu instead of the usual Hokkaido cream. They had rose ice cream and white peach, which tasted like ohagi when eaten together. They usually don't like rice-based sweets, but this one had a refined sweetness and a perfect rice texture that they enjoyed. The melon jelly had a strong fragrance and taste of melon, and it was from a famous source. The plum tart had jam drizzled on top, and the cream inside was very creamy. The tart's crispy texture was irresistible. They also had cocoa castella and chili meringue, with the castella having a strong cocoa flavor and not using milk. The Pu'er tea souvenir cookies had truffle and kinako flavors to choose from. The truffle flavor was very aromatic and delicious, and the cookies were crispy and tasty. The case was also cute.
