First, I have some disappointing news... I didn't have a Rainbow Card. Despite that, I sometimes use Co-op, and this particular Co-op Sapporo Akahira store is my third visit. Whenever I come here, I always end up buying sushi from the sushi corner where they sell fishmonger's sushi. The quality is quite good, so I've bought and eaten sushi from the Co-op Sapporo in Kushiro before. This time, I bought a luxurious sushi set called "Matsu" which includes 48 pieces, 12 pieces each for four people, along with some other sushi. The chutoro (medium fatty tuna) melts in your mouth and is sweet and delicious. The scallop is soft and chewy, with a fresh sweetness. The abalone has a nice chewy texture and is flavorful. The sea urchin, although used with alum, was still quite tasty. The salmon roe had a mellow saltiness and a delicious flavor. All the other sushi pieces were also delicious. It seemed like the pieces were slightly smaller compared to the last time I bought from here. They seem to use the power of science here. Unfortunately, the pickled ginger was sold separately, which was a bit disappointing. Soy sauce is provided for free, but you have to buy wasabi separately. Finally, the sushi rice was just right in firmness, tasty with vinegar, and paired well with the toppings. ☆☆☆ Next time on... 10 times♪ 10 times♪ Points 10 times♪ Even though I don't have a Rainbow Card, I will definitely come back again♪
