I heard from the Namba Osaka Excitement Team Bunker that you can eat delicious yakiniku at Hozan-yama, so I thought there was no other place to go! I prepared a driver (my wife) and made a sudden visit to Kamachan. The parking lot is a bit hard to find, but the staff guided us to it. The restaurant only has a counter with seating for 14 people, so it's better to make a reservation. The chef's attention to detail is amazing. He changed the grill four times in less than two hours. The harami with tare sauce, wasabi soy sauce, and ginger ponzu was delicious, especially the harami with tamari soy sauce which was light and had a change in flavor, making it easy to eat as much as you want. We had a lot of fun. The "phantom harami" (I named it myself) is not particular about the place of origin, but rather the chef personally checks and buys it. The homemade sauce is skillfully mixed in. One serving is 200g, so they ask for orders starting from half a serving. They should just offer 100g servings, but I guess that's their commitment. For the finale, we had curry ochazuke, which we saw other customers ordering and it looked delicious. It was made right in front of us, garnished with chopped green onions and daikon kimchi. The special curry was not very spicy, but it was delicious and a new taste for a yakiniku finish. The friendly chef even saw us off to the door. Thank you for the meal! ☆

Visit date: 18:30 on a weekday Waiting time: Reservation Menu: A la carte I visited this restaurant as part of my quest to visit 100 famous restaurants. It is located away from the city center, so it may be difficult to visit for those who are not locals. All the meat dishes have thick cuts, with each serving being 200g, so if you order too much at the beginning, you might not be able to finish it all. It seems that you can also order half servings, so if you want to try a variety of dishes, ordering half servings might be a good idea. As for the kimchi, they will add a different type of kimchi once you finish it. This time, I tried about four different kinds. The restaurant was quiet at the time, so I was shown photos of Sato Takeru before joining the Hanshin Tigers and photos of the Japanese women's volleyball team, and had a lot of interesting conversations. Finally, I asked to be taken to the table with the plaque of the 100 famous restaurants, took a photo, and had a very satisfying yakiniku experience. I have found another restaurant that I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Hidden gem in Higashi Osaka with counter seating only and a simple menu. Portions are double the size compared to other places, with 200g per serving. Great value for money! Hidden gem in Higashi Osaka, this restaurant has a cozy L-shaped counter with only 14 seats, so reservations are a must! Each serving is 200g, double the amount of other places. The hand-cut meats, such as the delicious Harami with wasabi soy sauce or the special "Kiki Spice" seasoning, are all incredibly tasty. The Harami and Tongue were so good we had to order more! To finish off, we tried the famous "Curry Ojiya." The harami (skirt steak) here is seriously addictive. I suddenly had a craving for it and called Kamachan in Hyotan-yama. They said they could accommodate me if I came a bit late, so I managed to hold out until just before 9 o'clock. On this visit, I ordered 2 servings of harami, 2 servings of tongue, half portion of barazurami, and half portion of maruchou. Just so you know, a single serving here is 200g, which is more than double the amount at a typical yakiniku restaurant. The harami absolutely must be eaten with wasabi soy sauce! The menu only listed sauce and salt, but the salt was actually a special blend of spices made by the chef, and the sauce was homemade. This place is known for its delicious tongue, and it even appeared on ABC TV's Sugiru TV last year, but personally, I would recommend the harami over the tongue. Kamachan in Hyotan-yama is easily accessible by train from Osaka city. It's a must-visit for harami lovers, so be sure to check it out!

I finally went to the yakiniku restaurant in Higashi Osaka that I've been curious about. It's a long-established and very popular place, so I was worried about getting a reservation, but thanks to booking a week in advance, I was able to secure a table. The restaurant was fully booked when I arrived at 7:00 pm. The menu I ordered included salted tongue, bara, harami, senmai, sashimi, curry, and porridge. Everything was delicious, but the prices were a bit high. I would like to come back again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

I was intrigued by the reviews on Tabelog for a long time, and my coworker recommended this place to me. They took me to a yakiniku restaurant near Kamachan and treated me to a meal. I mistakenly thought Kamachan was the name of the restaurant, but I didn't find the food particularly delicious. However, I was grateful for the treat and had a good time. I finally visited the actual Kamachan and regretted not coming sooner. The salted tongue, harami, and hormone were all delicious! The curry rice porridge at the end was also amazing. I was impressed by the hospitality of the owner, who remains humble despite the restaurant's popularity. Although they don't offer dishes like chijan, namul, cold noodles, or chige soup, I understand that the limited menu is due to the small counter space and the owner's personalized service. I plan to visit again, dining alone or with one other person, enjoying a quick meal and conversation with the friendly owner.

It was really delicious ❤️ Choosing this place for my birthday dinner was the right decision! Reservations are a must! I think going at 5 o'clock was the right choice! Be careful with your orders because the portions are large haha. I heard they also offer half portions, so I recommend getting the half size for hormone dishes.

I went to the yakiniku restaurant "Kamachan" located in Hyoutan-yama. I often passed by it in my car and was curious about it. I ordered the following: - Premium tongue - Premium harami (skirt steak) - Premium belly - Maruchou (intestines) - Grilled garlic - Kimchi - Rice - Curry porridge For drinks, I had lemonade. Let me tell you upfront, everything was delicious. I mean, really delicious. When I go to a yakiniku restaurant, I usually can't eat much without feeling sick, but this time I easily devoured about 15 pieces without any issues. Each serving was 200g and there was definitely a lot of volume. The master marinates each piece of meat on the spot before serving. The marinade really brings out the flavor of the meat, and they also pay attention to using ingredients like sugar and garlic to ensure customers don't feel sick. No wonder I could eat so many pieces! The master seems quiet at first glance, but he is actually a very kind person who will talk a lot with you if you engage in conversation. It was so much fun. First, the premium tongue. The texture was amazing, with no unpleasant smell. The special spice they provided was incredible. I tried tongue with spices for the first time, and it was unbelievably delicious. Next, the premium harami. We had it with soy sauce and wasabi. I was skeptical about eating harami with soy sauce and wasabi, but it surprisingly matched perfectly. Then, the premium belly. I chose a special sauce for the belly. It wasn't the typical sauce you would expect for belly, but a unique blend that coated the meat. It was so delicious that I couldn't stop praising it. It was on a level where it could marry white rice. As I kept raving about how delicious everything was, the master started giving us some complimentary dishes like pork belly, heart, and teppanyaki. The flavor was mind-blowing. I won't say more about it, just that it was amazing. The grilled garlic was something you can only find at Kamachan. I highly recommend ordering it at the beginning. Visited before 10:00 PM! It was a quiet time with only 4 staff members and no other customers. I ordered 100g of premium tongue (1,400 yen?), 100g of pork belly (1,100 yen?), 100g of hormone mix (650 yen), raw small intestine (800 yen), rice (200 yen), and a medium draft beer (550 yen). The total should have been 4,700 yen, but I actually paid 5,600 yen, so there might have been a seating charge or the prices were higher for smaller portions. We were served kimchi and cabbage as appetizers. The beer was ice-cold. The raw small intestine arrived quickly and was delicious. Despite feeling slightly expensive considering the meat prices, the quality was definitely worth it. The sauce was also tasty. The manager personally massages the meat each time we order, so I felt a bit hesitant to order in small quantities. I ordered tongue, pork belly, and hormone mix, and all of them were delicious for the price. The thick-cut tongue was especially tender and the sauce complemented it well. The food had good value for money, but the atmosphere in the restaurant was a bit lacking. I was cautious because I was warned by my mother about scolding the staff, and indeed I witnessed some scolding happening. However, we were able to have a friendly conversation in the end, but that was the only disappointing aspect.

I ordered tongue and belly with salt, and harami with sauce to start the feast. The tongue was tender with good fat, and the belly had the perfect marbling. The recommended sauce for harami at this restaurant is wasabi soy sauce, but this time I wanted sauce, and it was delicious as the sauce coated the meat well. I also added beef cheek and maruchou with salt. I still ordered harami with wasabi soy sauce. Good meat tastes best with simple seasonings like salt or wasabi soy sauce. We ordered half sizes for everything except the first harami. The total bill was a little over 10,000 yen for two people... too cheap, old man... lol. After eating, we had a leisurely chat with the owner and then left. Visit on 10/11/2022, around 5,000 yen per person. Walking distance from Kintetsu Hyotan-yama️. There is a parking lot nearby. The famous restaurant Kamachan in Higashi Osaka. I was lucky to call on the same day and was able to get in. At Kamachan, each serving is 200g. You can also order a half size of 100g. The Harami was so delicious that I couldn't stop and ended up ordering a total of 300 grams. All the meats, especially the hormone, were delicious...
