It is a private room izakaya with a quiet atmosphere, and when we entered, the staff lowered a garage-like partition for us. It feels quite solid and heavy, haha. I remember visiting here about a year ago, but I think I only had edamame back then. This time, we came here for a proper dinner. It's easy to order at izakayas because the dishes are small. Due to the influence of COVID-19, orders are placed remotely by scanning a QR code on the table, which has become more common recently. It's nice to save time waiting for the staff. We ordered ramen salad, yangnyeom chicken, cold tofu, and motsu-nikomi. Personally, I really liked the spicy and flavorful yangnyeom chicken. The perfect level of spiciness made it addictive. The ramen salad looked nice with minced meat and egg on top, but the taste of the minced meat was weak, making the overall flavor bland. It might have been diluted by the watery noodles. The private room atmosphere is strong here, so I recommend it for those who want to use it as a private room izakaya.

During the first three days of the New Year, I found a restaurant that was open early, located in Kotoni, had private rooms, and offered all-you-can-drink options for a gathering with friends. The room we were seated in had a shutter to separate it from the neighboring room and the hallway, which was a stylish touch. Orders were placed using a QR code on our smartphones, which was a new and interesting system. The drink selection, including sours and highballs, was extensive and fun to choose from. The food was average, but I discovered a tasty dish called "meat simmered in sauce" that I had enjoyed at another restaurant before. The staff was friendly, although there were some issues with drink service during busy times. Overall, the restaurant had a convenient ordering system and good service. I would like to visit again, even though dining alone might be a bit lonely.

I have visited this restaurant before, but this is my first review. This time, there weren't many available seats, so I decided to visit here because I could make a reservation online. The atmosphere of the restaurant is decent. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from seafood to fried foods, like a typical izakaya. I ordered Sagari with black pepper, fried oysters, octopus tempura, young chicken and tomato cheese stew, and chicken nanban. Overall, the food was delicious, but I felt that the portions were a bit small for the price. Also, the batter on the fried foods was a bit thick, which may be a matter of preference. I preferred the crispy texture of the batter like at Jinbei in Higashibetsu, which I reviewed before. I was pleasantly surprised by the tenderness of the Sagari, which I had expected to be firmer. However, it was a bit on the pricey side. Personal note: they offer all-you-can-drink option.

[Toriko Kotoni Branch, a private room izakaya] The stairs to the 2nd floor near Kotoni Station are quite steep without a handrail, so it might be scary to go home after drinking too much. The private rooms have an interesting design with shutters that can be closed. Inside the private rooms, there are sunken kotatsu tables, but the step to get into the private room is high, which might be a bit difficult for people with low height or knee problems. [Drinks] With an additional 500 yen, you can have beer included. It was fun to mix various types of alcohol with various types of tea. Although I ended up choosing a safe combination, it was nice to have free refills of Paul Star. [Food] - Dashimaki Tamago: A gentle-tasting classic snack. - Grilled beef tongue: Even better if it's hotter. - Edamame: A reliable snack. - Assorted yakitori: Thigh, skin, ponpochi, heart, tsukune. - Horse sashimi: Thicker than expected, flavorful but hard to swallow. - Asari sake steamed: A gentle dish, makes you want to drink this soup the next morning. Reasonably priced with the option to enjoy beef tongue and horse meat. The private rooms provide a sense of security in these times, and the atmosphere was nice with minimal distractions from the surroundings.

We visited this restaurant with a group of about 10 friends from the New Year. They offer a 2-hour all-you-can-drink deal for 999 yen with beer included. The appetizer usually served is a pickled quail egg that is sour, but one of our group members doesn't like sour food, so the manager kindly offered a different appetizer. We started with a toast with Paul Star beer. We tried the large Satsuma fried dish, which was fluffy and delicious, and the octopus with green onion in ponzu sauce, which was also tasty. The homemade tartar chicken nanban dish had a slightly sour taste, but it was still good. We also ordered a unique tea highball, which turned out to be a mix of tea and carbonation. The manager tried to come up with a replacement for the appetizer but ended up offering us ice cream for dessert instead. Overall, the service was excellent and accommodating, and we had a pleasant dining experience.

I used it on New Year's Day. This year, I had the impression that many stores are closed on New Year's Day, but this place was open. I used the all-you-can-drink option. My parents had been here before and apparently don't like the appetizers, so they said they would bring something different. In the end, there was no alternative to the appetizer, so they asked if we would like dessert ice cream instead! It was a very kind response. Maybe it was the manager? The manager's response was very good. The kids loved the ham cutlets. They had seconds. They were thick and crispy, very delicious. The octopus vinegar was so delicious! We had seconds of that too. The egg omelet had a strong flavor, which I liked. The grilled white beef skewer was tough... maybe it was overcooked. The meat hot pot was delicious! It had a garlic flavor and a bit of spiciness. The food was a bit on the expensive side, but the handsome manager's customer service was very good. He accommodated us in various ways, thank you very much!

A friend made a reservation for me and I went there for the first time! There were many types of hot pot to choose from, so I couldn't decide and ended up ordering both motsu nabe and sukiyaki nabe, which made me very satisfied! Personally, I found the motsu nabe to be more delicious! The seafood items like Long Sushi and tuna cutlets were also excellent!

We used this restaurant for a gathering of about 10 colleagues. The interior felt a bit cramped, but we had a private room and the surrounding noise wasn't too bothersome. However, it was inconvenient that even though there were only 3 seats at the table, the dishes were served for 4 people. The main dish, the Long Sushi, felt lacking. There were several flies buzzing around... a bit disappointing. Despite the lovely drinks and friendly service, it's a shame.

This is a new restaurant that just opened! It used to be a sketchy Italian bar, but now it offers a variety of dishes like sashimi, grilled items, and fried foods. The menu isn't too extensive, and the prices are a bit on the higher side, but as long as the food is delicious, that's not a problem! Just be careful not to order unnecessary items to avoid being surprised at the bill later on. They don't offer free refills on soft drinks, but they made an exception for the grand opening. To show my appreciation, I ordered the special "Shiraoi beef skewers" for 500 yen and "Seared Shiraoi beef sushi" for 990 yen. The quail egg on top was a nice touch, but the vinegar was a bit too sweet for my taste. The Shiraoi beef skewers were seasoned with salt and pepper and were quite tasty. I could do without the zucchini though. The beef sushi could use a bit more flavor. Overall, the "Beef Harami with black pepper" for 1,190 yen was the most delicious dish. The tender harami was perfect with the grated green onion and ponzu sauce. I wanted more, so I also ordered the "Staff meal" for 500 yen, which turned out to be a strange mix of fried items on rice. The seating was at a table with upright backrests, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Oh, I just received a message from my eldest daughter who's out drinking in Susukino...

I made a reservation and entered the restaurant as soon as it opened. Ordering was easy with my smartphone. The menu has a variety of options and is visually appealing. It seems like there is only one staff member handling both drinks and serving tables, as even though it's not crowded, the unlimited drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive. The food arrived slowly but steadily, however, without drinks, it was hard to enjoy the meal. It left a bad impression. The taste of the food was average.

I ordered a 3-hour all-you-can-drink course with 8 dishes, but after only 1.5 hours, I was told it was last order for drinks even though we had only received 2 dishes. It turned out to be the restaurant's mistake, but then we were rushed to pay without receiving the last drink order. It ruined our plans to enjoy a rare get-together with friends during the pandemic. I will never go back there again.
