Visited twice during the day on November 22, 2021, and November 23, 2021, after a gap of 6 years and 1 month since the last visit to the old location in October 24, 2015. The previous location was near Tsukomori Station, a branch line of Nankai called the Nankai Shiomibashi Line, which had limited train services and was not easily accessible. The new location near Okunicho Station has greatly improved accessibility. This udon restaurant can be considered a top runner in the Kansai region. The udon, broth, and tempura are all excellent. Even on weekends, there was no waiting time to enter, and the wait for the food was around 10-15 minutes. The service was friendly and impeccable. They have continued to prioritize serving freshly boiled udon, natural broth, and freshly fried tempura since the opening, maintaining their original commitment to quality. The udon noodles are thick, providing a chewy texture when cold, but a softer texture when served warm. Personally, I prefer the warm udon. The broth is based on kombu, with a traditional Kansai-style broth for warm udon. The tempura is also outstanding, with a perfect level of frying. In particular, the conger eel tempura was thick and flavorful, truly delicious. Each udon order is boiled upon request, with a wait time of 10-15 minutes for the food to be served, and a meal usually takes around 20-30 minutes. The restaurant is currently open only for lunch (10:00-15:00).
