I recently visited a highly acclaimed restaurant that has been the talk of the town. This place appeared like a comet in June last year and has been drawing long lines ever since. Despite being open for less than a year, it has already made it to the top 100 ramen shops in Tokyo. When I went there, I had to buy a food ticket first before lining up. Once I got my ticket, I joined the queue. Inside the restaurant, there are only counter seats with a central aisle, and seating for 5 people on each side, totaling 10 seats. There is a turtle tank under the ticket machine, adding to the unique atmosphere. I ordered the special hand-pulled Chinese soba with soy sauce and a whimsical meat rice bowl. The soup was clear and refreshing, with a smooth texture and a gentle taste. The noodles were thick and chewy, more like ramen than udon, and came with a side of flat noodles for added texture. The wonton had a hint of matcha and was filled with duck and green onions. The variety of textures and colors made the meal an entertaining experience. The chashu included duck and low-temperature cooked pork shoulder, and the seasoned egg was delicious. The bamboo shoots were thick and paired well with the ramen. The whimsical meat rice bowl featured pork cheek tomato stew, which was easy to eat with a hint of sweetness. Overall, the ramen not only satisfied my taste buds but also provided a visual feast, truly living up to its name as a noodle festival.

Soy sauce ramen with hand-made noodles, wide and thick, with a nice texture and a hint of wheat aroma. The soup is rich in umami from animal ingredients, with a punch of dried fish flavor, very delicious. The saltiness matches well with the thick noodles. The bamboo shoots have a good crunch and a strong bamboo shoot scent, balanced well with the soy sauce. The two types of chashu are smoky and complement each other well.

A shop that pays attention to details like cutting the noodles after they are ordered. I wanted to try everything, like the cushioned bamboo shoots, branded egg, and wonton similar to otabe, so I ordered the special. The shop is filled with Pokémon decorations but it is clean and well-maintained. I watched the two staff members work efficiently while waiting. The noodles were chewy and incredibly delicious! The noodles, soup, and toppings were all so tasty that I couldn't help but exclaim in delight with each bite. I've never tasted this kind of flavor at any other shop, it's a unique and unparalleled deliciousness! Both staff members were busy without stopping, so I think it would be good to follow the shop's house rules, such as waiting in line and not being able to specify extra servings or noodle firmness, to help them operate smoothly.

Special hand-made Chinese soba noodles with soy sauce for 1,550 yen around 11:30 on weekdays. There were about 4-5 people waiting, including inside the restaurant. Purchase a meal ticket at the front of the store first. After a short wait outside, a staff member will collect your ticket. Wait inside the restaurant for about 15 minutes. After a short wait, you will be seated. The noodles are freshly made and have a chewy texture, very delicious. The soft-boiled egg is just right. The wonton skin is also chewy. The soup is delicious and I finished it all. When leaving, there were still about 5 people waiting.

I visited a highly rated restaurant on Tabelog to see if it was really delicious. [Before entering] I went on a holiday around 1:00 PM and waited in line for about 70 minutes. [Inside the restaurant] There are only about 10 counter seats. Since it was just opened, it was bright and very spacious. There were a huge number of various turtle figurines in reference to the restaurant name. It's quite a variety. [Order] Special handmade Chinese soba with soy sauce: 1,550 yen [Appearance/Taste] The special comes with 3 types of chashu, seasoned egg, menma, thick noodles, and green onions as toppings. The noodles are thick and slightly curly. They are not firm but rather chewy, with a strong wheat flavor. The soup is a rich soy sauce base. It has a slightly sweet and gentle taste, rich but still easy to finish. The toppings were just okay. The burnt mark on the seasoned egg and unique menma were interesting. [Overall impression] It was very delicious. However, I may have had slightly high expectations from the visuals. The owner seemed quite young, which was surprising. The service was polite and humble. It's a timing issue, but I don't think it's something worth waiting in line for a long time. Thank you for the meal.

I had the "Special Handmade Soba" at this restaurant. The interior is stylish with a main color theme of green. It's all about turtles. It's like a "Turtle Coordination"! There are lots of turtle goods! The unity of green and turtles is interesting. The logo on the back of the staff's shirt resembles Master Roshi's mark from Dragon Ball, which foreigners would definitely appreciate! *But why is the toothpick holder on the table shaped like a pig? ▶ [Order Details] ● Special Handmade Soba (Soy Sauce): 1,550 yen ★ The special handmade soba (soy sauce) - [Noodles]: The noodles are hand-cut! They are flat twisted noodles. They are thick yet also thin. The texture is a mix of chewiness and a gentle bite. It's hard to describe... When you slurp the noodles, it feels like the soup is being carried along with them into your mouth. Additionally, the smoothness is irresistible. It was beyond my expectations. [Soup]: The soup is delicious with a hint of chicken fat floating on top. It has a unique aroma and a concentrated soy sauce base, but the taste is mellow and comforting. The soup is made with various ingredients like duck, vegetables, pork, bonito flakes, and dried foods, creating a harmonious match with the flat noodles. [Chashu]: There are two types of chashu - duck and pork. The duck chashu is tasty when eaten with green onions. The pork chashu is tender and flavorful, with one piece having a buttery taste and the other being a classic savory flavor. The variation in the same pork chashu is a nice touch. [Menma]: The menma is square-shaped and brown in color, slightly sweet in taste. It might appeal more to those who prefer a salty flavor. It reminds me of high-end New Year's osechi dishes. [Green Onions]: The green onions are standard and go well with the duck chashu. [Flavored Egg]: The egg has a turtle shell pattern and is slightly firm with a delicious semi-cooked yolk. [Wonton]: The wonton is slightly larger than usual, thick and green in color. It tastes great when dipped in the soup. The meat inside is also flavorful. ▶ [Impressions] The handmade flat noodles are incredibly delicious! Combined with the soup, it's a perfect match that is truly impressive! The craftsmanship behind each dish is remarkable. The visual presentation enhances the taste of the ramen. This collaboration between udon and ramen is reminiscent of my hometown. The attention to detail in every aspect is amazing. I've never felt so moved and respectful towards a meal before. The Special Handmade Soba priced at 1,550 yen per bowl feels like a steal for the satisfaction it brings.

Limited edition Kamei no Nibokon with souvenir menma x2. It's been a while since I went to Shibasaki. The weather is still hot and humid, perfect for Nibokon. The noodles, carefully cut from the dough, boiled, and then chilled, combined with the anchovy and kelp broth, are unexpectedly delicious. The noodles alone provide a high level of satisfaction. The anchovy and kelp broth is perfectly balanced in terms of saltiness. This bowl, without any additional toppings, can be considered a champion with its high level of quality. The plentiful toppings, meticulously arranged, are also exquisite.

I visited the restaurant just before the end of the lunch hours. I was able to enter immediately as there was no line and seats were available. First, I purchased a meal ticket at the ticket machine. I ordered the special hand-made Chinese soba noodles (soy sauce flavor). I sat at the seat indicated by the staff. There were various chopstick holders, but my seat had a fried egg (laughs). I watched the kitchen staff cut, knead, and boil the noodles for each order. This looks promising! The noodles seemed thick, so it would take some time to cook. It took about 15 minutes from ordering to the noodles being served. The bowl of noodles looked delicious, and I was filled with anticipation. First, I took a sip of the soup - it had a deep richness and umami flavor. There was a gentle and round soy sauce acidity that subtly lingered. It had a nostalgic yet distinctive taste. Very delicious! Next, I tried the noodles. The thick, wavy hand-made noodles were smooth, elastic, and chewy - the texture was amazing! They had a firm bite, rich wheat flavor, and were incredibly tasty! These noodles might be the most delicious I've had recently! The square-shaped menma was unusual in shape but had a good flavor. The chashu had a strong meat and fat umami taste. The large wanton dumpling was also included. Its green skin made me wonder if there was something mixed in. The skin was very chewy and delicious. The filling was well-seasoned and tasty. However, I felt like I enjoyed the skin more. The flavored egg had the shop's logo stamped on it. It was well-flavored and delicious, although I would have preferred the yolk to be a bit more runny. The noodles were so delicious! They paired perfectly with the soup! I finished everything quickly and even drank all the soup (laughs). I was extremely satisfied! I should have gotten the large portion, but I didn't see it on the ticket machine's menu... If I have a chance to visit again, I'll ask if they can do a large portion! Thank you for the meal! It was incredibly delicious!

On a regular weekday afternoon, around 10:30 am, I was second in line to be seated. By the time the restaurant opened at 11:00 am, there was already a line forming. It seems like the cold noodle dishes are coming to an end at various shops. Today, I decided to dine here. Three warm noodle dishes were served to me first, and after a considerable wait (haha), I finally got my bowl. The toppings were lively and included grated yam and myoga. It was a delicious meal.

The oil soba is delicious! The noodles are so tasty! It's oil soba, so the flavor is rich, not just salty, but with a deep taste. The egg and chashu are also delicious. Notably, the duck chashu and menma are exceptional. The duck chashu has no hint of odor and is incredibly delicious. The menma has a great texture and can be easily bitten through despite its thickness.

I had always wanted to visit this place as I had been delivering to the area, but never had the chance until now. I was impressed watching the noodles being made outside for the first time. I was a bit confused using the ticket machine, but I ended up ordering the "Special Chinese Ramen." I thought I would be able to sit right away since it was a Saturday afternoon and there was no one waiting outside, but I ended up waiting for quite a while (there were about 5 people waiting after us). The anticipation grew as we waited. After about 20 minutes, we were seated at the counter and realized that the noodles are made just before boiling them. Such dedication! There were no condiments like pepper available. The chashu, flavored egg, and wonton ramen were all incredibly delicious. The only downside was that they don't offer extra large portions. Overall, it was a great meal. Just a note, they do not accept PayPay.

#Ramen #Shibasaki #Handmade Noodle Festival Kameido
Arrived on Saturday at 1:00 PM, there were 3 people waiting outside and 4 people waiting inside. Bought the meal ticket first and then lined up. It took about 30 minutes to get inside. Ordered the special handmade Chinese soba with a choice of beer, Heartland. The soy sauce soup was overwhelmingly delicious! It wasn't too heavy on animal flavor or anchovy. I wonder what they use? The handmade noodles were chewy and filling. Thank you for the meal!

I visited Ramen TRY on a weekend around 6 pm and was able to get in smoothly. I ordered the rich chicken oil ramen, which won the award in the soup-less category, for 1100 yen. The handmade medium-thick noodles were chewy and had a great texture, complementing the flavor of the chicken oil, the aroma of the grilled chashu, and the richness of the egg. The chicken flavor was rich yet light, and I didn't get tired of it. In between bites, they also served a clear broth with a refreshing umami flavor, which paired wonderfully with the ramen. Overall, it was a fantastic bowl of ramen, and I look forward to trying their soup-based ramen next time. Thank you for the meal.

This is my third visit. The special oil noodles with spicy broth for 1550 yen. The noodles are still chewy and have a good texture, but if you want to prioritize savoring the noodles, the dry noodles might be better. The seasoning (spicy sauce) is quite spicy, which is good, with a strong spiciness and a good amount of sansho pepper. I personally prefer products labeled "spicy" to be this spicy. It's not just spicy, it also has a good umami flavor, and after mixing in the dried fish powder, it showed a different side. The two types of chashu are tasty, with the pork chashu being thick and delicious. The wonton filling is delicious, but the skin is especially tasty. I hope they offer additional wontons, but it might be difficult. The flavored egg this time didn't have a runny yolk, but when eaten with the noodles, it helped balance out the spiciness and added a nice touch. A small amount of cold light fish soup is provided as a palate cleanser, which was refreshing. I had a Heartland beer for 450 yen. I felt like I was really at Kamei when I had the bamboo shoot appetizer. Next time, I think I'll try a different type of alcohol instead of beer. Thank you for the meal, I will visit again.

【Order】Special Handmade Chinese Soba with Soy Sauce Duck Breast Rice
【Price】2000 yen
【Rating】Located a 3-minute walk from Shibasaki Station. It was packed on weekend nights, so I had to wait a few minutes to get a seat. Soup: The soy sauce-based soup looks light, but it has a rich flavor from the perfectly blended local chicken broth and chicken oil. The soup is incredibly tasty. Noodles: Thick, chewy, flat noodles kneaded, cut, and boiled right in front of you. The texture is outstandingly delicious. Toppings like bamboo shoots, chashu, and matcha-infused wontons are also excellent. I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The other day, I had a bit of an unsatisfactory experience with oil soba, so I decided to revisit a restaurant where I had previously been satisfied. I arrived at 10:05 AM and there were already 5 people ahead of me. By around 10:20 AM, a line started to form gradually. By the time the restaurant opened at 11:00 AM, there were about 15 people behind me. I ordered the Special Hand-Rolled Soy Sauce Ramen for 1,550 yen. The noodles were delicious! The yellow-green wontons, diced bamboo shoots, and chashu were also tasty, but the noodles were the highlight! They paired well with the soup. I also ordered the Abura Soba with Rich Chicken Oil for 1,100 yen. The noodles were delicious, but the seasoning was exceptionally tasty! The thick slices of chashu were also well-seasoned! I added an order of grilled cheese rice, which complemented the oil soba perfectly. The oil soba was so delicious that I bought some as a souvenir. I got 2 servings for 2,000 yen. I can't wait to enjoy it! Next time, I want to try the salt version of the hand-rolled ramen and the spicy version of the oil soba.

I made a mistake. Before writing a review, I checked the Twitter of "Kamegakoi" and found out that they are offering a limited-time special dish called "Aimori Konbu Mizutsuke Men" on the 25th and 26th, which is not usually available. I really wanted to try it. Despite missing out on that, the location of the restaurant is very good. Although there is no dedicated parking lot, it is located along the Koshu Highway, making it easy to find, and it's just a leisurely 5-minute walk from Keio Line Shibasaki Station North Exit. The capacity of the restaurant is not small for a location like this in Tokyo. I arrived at the restaurant around 12:30 and there were already 5 people in line. I was the 11th person when they let in 5 more people for waiting inside. Despite this, the turnover rate was not as slow as mentioned in other reviews, and things were progressing smoothly. It took about 30 minutes from lining up to receiving the noodles. The "Handmade Chinese Soba - Shio" for 1100 yen had a soup that wasn't very strong in flavor. I wondered if it was due to my own condition. However, I could clearly see the meticulous work that went into making it. The texture of the soup reminded me of "Matsuri Kuroko." The noodles were thick, wide hira-kawa noodles that were kneaded freshly for each serving, rather than pre-made. They had a good elasticity and were personally my preferred thickness. The toppings included two slices of pork chashu, two slices of bamboo shoots, and green onions. Despite the simple composition for the price, each ingredient was carefully prepared. The chashu was made from pork shoulder, but I couldn't tell if it was the famous Iwanaka pork I had seen before. The bamboo shoots were cut into square pieces rather than being thick. Overall, the new ramen shop that everyone was talking about lived up to the hype. The young owner's sincerity, the refreshing attitude of the young-looking lady who could be called the landlady, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant made it a wonderful experience. What I regret the most is not noticing the two-day limited-time offer of "Aimori Konbu Mizutsuke Men." It was only available for these two days this year due to the time-consuming process. Oh, how frustrating.

Limited Cold Nankotsu Soba (1200 yen), Raw Egg (100 yen), Duck Breast Rice (450 yen). I had the opportunity to go to Kokuritsu, so I hesitated whether to go to Shibata-san for the first time, but since I could arrive before opening, I decided to visit Kameikoi for the first time. I found out on SNS that today is the last day for the limited dish inspired by the "Jiro" of the Japanese soba world, Tsunemasa, and couldn't wait any longer. I arrived at 10:30 AM, the first in line. While waiting in the shade, a group of people watching from the opposite side of the road gathered. The place where they gathered must have been in the shade because of the intense sunlight. The shop opened at 11 AM. The interior had about 8 seats plus about 4 waiting seats inside. People continued to gather, and when I left the shop, there were about 10 people in line. Unlike the original Tsunemasa, the well-cooked noodles were chewy and had a good texture, very delicious! I always prefer adding a raw egg at Tsunemasa, and it was a great choice here too! It was a smooth and quick meal, and I finished it in no time. My only regret is that at Tsunemasa, they put a lot of shichimi pepper, so I wanted to try the spicy version, and I also wanted to add the excellent thick menma topping. I realized that I need to go back next time to try the default menu.

Before 10:30 on a regular day, I was at the top of the line. The sun was blazing in front of the store, so I took refuge in a shady spot a little further away and connected as the 7th person in line 10 minutes before opening at 10 o'clock. While waiting for the food to be served, the restaurant became full and there was a waiting list. The firm, chilled noodles paired well with the green onions and simmered meat. A lively raw egg was mixed in halfway through. Thank you for the meal.

Limited Cold Meat Nanban Soba: 1,200 yen + Raw Egg: 100 yen Handmade Chinese Soba (Salt): 1,100 yen Arrived on Sunday at 11:58, joined a line with 5 people inside and 7 people outside. Promoted to waiting inside the restaurant at 12:27, seated at 12:33. Received the Chinese soba at 12:44, followed by the cold soba 6 minutes later. It took about 46 minutes from arrival to receiving the food. Intrigued by the limited cold soba, I revisited without much delay. It was more delicious than any other cold soba I've had before. It seems to be inspired by the Japanese soba restaurant "Kakuman," but the creativity and taste combination show a great sense of skill. This was my second time trying the salt soba, and I still enjoy its complex umami flavor. The process seems challenging with many steps, but this restaurant gives off the vibe of a renowned establishment, making me want to support them.
