I discovered something irresistible for a peach lover like me. It's a mixed juice with dry ice that produces smoke, but this time it's a limited edition peach flavor. I had to order it. It comes with beautifully sliced peaches on top, so lovely. The cream puffs are delicious, so I always get them. And the pie with whole chestnuts inside is also tasty. The cheese bread, chocolate croissants, and mentaiko (spicy cod roe) bread are all delicious, so be careful not to buy too much!

I visited the restaurant during lunchtime. When I arrived around 12:30, there were only three other groups of customers. This restaurant is one of the six branches in Osaka and has been selected as one of the top 100 sweets shops. The interior was luxurious, just like the exterior. I ordered the "Strawberry Millefeuille for 902 yen" and the "Assam Bali for 968 yen". The millefeuille pastry was crispy, and the custard in between was rich with a pleasant vanilla scent. The acidity of the strawberries played a nice role, but I felt like the amount was a bit lacking. Overall, the dessert had an elegant finish. The fragrant Assam Bali tea leaves stood out. Both the cake and the tea were delicious, but as an average person, I found them to be quite expensive. I'm not sure if the taste justifies the price. It seems like this restaurant focuses on offering a high-end experience. Thank you for the meal.

Located about a 3-minute walk from Himematsu Station, this shop has been open since 1969 and serves as the main store for the Poar chain, which has 6 locations in Osaka. It had been a while since my last visit to the main store. Unfortunately, the photo of the exterior was blurry and unusable. I ordered the Halloween cake for 951 yen, featuring a Jack-o'-lantern design, fitting for the autumn season. When I cut into it, I found that it was filled with a rich cream, making for a satisfyingly heavy dessert. Not overly sweet, but quite substantial in size. This dessert is well-known and would make a great gift for someone. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

Petit Angeu is priced at 1,080 yen and contains 6 types of bite-sized baked sweets, including 5 financiers and 1 Engadina, which is a slightly moist Florentine-style cookie with caramel and nuts. I particularly enjoyed the caramel and nut flavor. It would make a great small gift! ✨

On September 11, 2023, I received a souvenir from a follower. It was a Halloween limited edition petit chou, with a bat on top of the petit éclair. Both the normal petit chou and the petit éclair were delicious and I finished them in no time. I was grateful to be able to eat them without having to go to the shop I wanted to visit. I visited this long-standing luxury shop with some anticipation! (laughs) As I approached the salon on the 2nd floor, which seems to be very luxurious and popular, I wondered if it would be crowded. But first, I went to the free parking lot next to the shop... Oh? Plenty of space available! Lucky! So, I parked there and headed to the shop across the main street! Wow! The exterior looks very fancy!! But! There were lots of mama bicycles nearby! (laughs) Inside the shop, there is indeed an air of luxury. Some customers looked the part, while others seemed more casual, just like the mama bicycles outside, so I realized there was no need to be too cautious... (laughs) In front of the stairs leading to the 2nd-floor salon, there is a tablet for the waiting system, but luckily we were guided upstairs without waiting by the staff. The salon is just as the reviews say! Marble tables!!! The box seats at the back of the salon are even more luxurious!! We chose the counter seats on the 1st floor, overlooking the 2nd floor. We decided on the cakes after seeing them in person before going upstairs, and chose the above-mentioned tea and coffee for drinks. Both cakes have a restrained sweetness and are delicious, but they fall short of the complex and exquisite flavors of the top-ranking shops in the Sweets Top 100, while the noticeably higher price stands out. The drinks are also tasty, but are they worth the price? It's debatable, I guess?

After finishing my night shift, I fell asleep on the train and ended up at a place I wasn't familiar with, Tennoji Station. I got off there and rented a shared bicycle to head southeast. I arrived at a cafe on the 2nd floor around 1:30 PM. I ordered a recommended banana juice with Mont Blanc. The Mont Blanc had a hint of mint and was sweet and delicious. The banana juice was refreshing and lightly sweet. The cakes here were a bit too soft, making it difficult to eat with a fork. I paid 2,739 yen with a card and then headed to Namba to visit the last of Osaka's top 100 ice cream and gelato shops.

I read the review of Mairevi-sama and went to the restaurant as recommended. From the appearance alone, you can tell it's a luxurious place. When you enter, the first floor is for cake and bread sales, while the second floor is for a salon where you can enjoy light meals and coffee. It's a popular place with lots of people coming in and out. I bought some cakes and bread for takeout, as well as some cakes to eat in the salon. The strawberry mille-feuille had a nice balance of strawberry acidity and sweetness. The Mont Blanc cake was rich and delicious. The cold brew coffee was easy to drink with a slight bitterness. The Earl Grey tea had a fruity aroma. The Princess cake (for takeout) was also delicious with a good balance of acidity and sweetness. Overall, everything was delicious and of a consistently high quality. It may be a bit pricey, but if you want to enjoy delicious food without worrying about the cost, this place is perfect. I had a great meal. Thank you! Additional note: Unlike other places, this restaurant focuses on elegance and deliciousness without showing the hard work of the chefs. It felt like a celebrity restaurant. However, the lack of elegance from some regular customers was a downside. They were demanding and not very pleasant to see.

There was a bit of a wait for a table, so we took a number from the panel and selected our cakes from the display case while waiting. I chose the famous Mont Blanc, known for its traditional taste, while my partner went for the Strawberry Mille Feuille. The cafe was quite busy, with a constant stream of customers coming in, especially during the holiday season. I noticed a bakery corner next to the register and bought some low-temperature aged bread and Pan au Raisin that caught my eye. We waited for our turn to sit at the cafe and soon we were guided to our table on the second floor. We ordered our drinks - I opted for a Golden Earl Grey tea, while my partner chose an iced coffee. Our cakes and drinks arrived promptly, beautifully presented on elegant plates. I tried the Mont Blanc first, which was delicious with its chestnut paste and creamy filling. The pastry was light and flavorful, making it a great choice. However, the Mille Feuille seemed a bit off with its sour strawberries, even though the pastry itself was good. The drinks were also enjoyable, with my tea being fragrant and satisfying, albeit a bit pricey. My partner's iced coffee was good but a bit light in flavor. The bread we bought was surprisingly similar to one we love at home, and the Pan au Raisin was also delicious with its moist raisins. I would definitely consider buying bread from here again if we're in the area. It was a nostalgic day, reminiscent of when we first started dating and visited fancy places like this.

Located in Tezukayama, Osaka, is Poire-san. This shop has been famous for a long time and has various outlets in Kitashinchi and department stores. The interior of the shop has a luxurious feel, with staff in suits adding to the high-class atmosphere. The chocolate items, like those shaped like cigars, are visually stunning! This time, I was here for the bread! They have several types of bread, ranging from affordable to high-end. I bought two to compare. The affordable one was soft and fluffy, while the high-end one was sweet and considered a luxury bread. Personally, I preferred the affordable one. I guess I'm frugal! Thank you for the meal!

Petit a Petit (Petit Chou & Petit Eclair) ☆ 3.5 When I visited last time, I was very interested in the half & half of the popular products Petit Chou and Petit Eclair, which have been sold since the founding, but they were sold out. I called in advance to reserve and purchased "Petit a Petit" around noon on the weekend. I took it to go and tried it out! This was... just an ordinary taste. Thank you for the meal. I won't be revisiting for sweets. The bread looked very delicious.

Near Himeshiro Station, there is "Tezukayama Poire," a large building on the corner of a intersection with a partial atrium. The second floor has tables and a long counter seat. For lunch, they offer pasta. On the first floor, they have baked goods and cakes. The Princess cake costs 1059 yen, and the Golden Earl Grey costs 990 yen. There is no discount for cake sets, so you can choose any individual item you like. I fell in love with a cake in the showcase. The cake was served on a marble counter with felt underneath. The same goes for the tea. The cake was adorable! The strawberry mousse was shaped like a dress and had a gentle sweetness that was incredibly delicious. The balance of acidity and sweetness was outstanding. The other cakes also had unique designs that showcased the pastry chef's dedication. The tea was served in a pot, but the leaves were removed at the perfect time, so it never became too bitter. I have no knowledge of this area, but it seems to be a place with many affluent people. The cakes, teas, and coffees are more expensive than in department stores. Despite it being a weekday afternoon, more than half of the customers were couples. Perhaps they were retired executives or had a high social status. The staff provided excellent service, and the atmosphere was lovely. I have visited the old Western confectionery shop "Poire" which provides baked goods at the limited-time cafe in the Nakanoshima Art Museum several times. I felt like going back again due to the Nakanoshima location, so I visited again. I ordered the Breakfast S Set with an additional jam. The salad, bread, and Ronnefeldt iced tea were all delicious. I will visit again.

However, despite the fancy presentation in the product introduction photo, the actual product seems to prioritize shelf life over taste. It doesn't taste good at all! lol They may be promoting its high quality, but it's better to avoid giving it as a gift without trying it yourself! That's all! Also, a few years ago, I received a different flavor of this product and had a similar impression.
